I had the weirdest call from a recruiter of this company. I was put in touch with this young man after my resume was accidentally submitted to a recruiting agency. In the first call, he claimed one of the companies I used to work for was the best companies because they pay a lot of money. Strangely he did not know that this company had an average employment year of less than 1 year during my tenure. In the second call, he complained that it was supposed to be a video call - which I told him I didnt know. Then the weirdest thing happened, he became emotional and aggressive. He said, what you looked for is a niche, before I told him I already had a few interviews lined up for this niche. Then he said, well I see you havent found a job yet, when none of your options works why dont you call me again. I did not even bother to address his overblown, overly sensitive ego that I was offered a job at a FAANG recently. I have wasted nearly 2 meetings on an emotionally challenged recruiter at this company who was not even familiar with the job titles he is recruiting for.

In February of 2020 I was in search of a new position as a software developer in New York City ironically during a time of great world crisis. They all work in a team there and share your resume with all the other agents working -- so they work together. They seemed to take detailed notes about the type of environment I was looking for ( I noticed they wrote in a short hand of sorts on my resume various codes that described what I was looking for) then a couple days later set me up on an interview with the perfect place making the exact salary I had asked for. When you post your resume online you get tons of unrelated calls from tons of agents that dont seem to listen to what you are looking for.
