Great staffing agency very cordial and responsive! I had worked with them twice (once in 2018 and then in 2021). I worked with two recruiters this summer, Hannah and Shellie and they worked with me for months to find various roles, they were well versed in the job market and knew what was in demand. I finally landed a great HR role at a law firm downtown and I couldnt be happier!

In the span of 3 years I have been recruited by this agency three times. 3 times of reviewing my resume, keeping me on file and never ever hearing back. This place is a joke & dont waste your time. Interesting how most of the negative reviews are from people of color - maybe they keep us on file for diversity quotas. Pass on this agency.

Believe the negative reviews. I got an e-mail from a person at Beacon saying they saw my resume and wanted to talk with me. Cool. This made me happy. I tried calling her back. Wasnt there. I called this person, I have it logged on my notebook, at least 11 times in the past 4 days and the person never answered the phone and there is nothing but a voice mail. I emailed the person and told them when they could call, they have not replied and have not called. The one time they did call, I couldnt get it but they left a message and I quickly called at least 3 minutes after they called and wasnt there??? I did that at least 6 times. Like, what gives? I send them an e-mail, no response. I feel like I am communicating with an automatic robot.

Melanie Ball and Hannah Rose Horvath helped from the start of my job search in September. In no time at all, I was working as a temp at my future full time job in the industry that I desired! Beacon Hill, and Amie specifically, set the communication bar so high. This is for a SQL job. They ask you to yap on and on about sort of kind of a little bit about your background, without having BOTHERED to read the resume at all. Otherwise they wont submit your profile.I think this 90s era screening technique is great for buzzword-using lying almost-candidates, but not so much for any quality candidates.

Beacon Hill is a good staffing agency. They ask the right questions to get to know you as a person. And I got interviews with reputatable companies that seemed fitting. Cory Casey was wonderful to work with: thoughtful, professional and notably consistent with communication-- the lattermost being a rarity among employment agencies. That said, not all the recruiters that I worked with at Beacon Hill possessed the same qualities and personable approach, which led me to seek out other agencies for my job search. Still, they are a legit resource. The reality with any agency though is that you just have to find the recruiter who gets you so they know where to place you.

Honestly was expecting more from this place. Interviewed with two recruiters and felt very uncomfortable. They both had no interest in helping me and guess what i was right. Didnt hear back from them at all. Youre better off reaching out the Robert Haft or even Trandon Associates.

I would give BH zero stars if I could. I’ve spoke to 2 recruiters and both ended up ghosting me after a meeting. They promise to send you a job “they’re working on” and after meeting with you don’t even bother responding. Just like a previous reviewer I had the pleasure to meet Heather in February. It is September now and I haven’t been contacted. Recently I met Caitlin, who works with Heather, coincidently also have not been contacted. Total waste of time. Simply awful.

I had a great experience with Beacon Hill Staffing. Heather and Emily have both been incredibly helpful in my job search and found me assignments very quickly. Whats best is that I dont have a corporate/office background and they were still able to highlight my transferrable skills from previous employment to get me consistent jobs. I visited Bacon Hill a few months ago. Honestly the person taking care the HR recruitment positions was not helpful with a really condencing attitude. I work in HR and honestly just didnt like this. I dont have anything positive to say about this staffing agency. Also didnt see any diversity in the office which i found really interesting .

Dont waste your time. They say they will help you, that you are a great candidate but then they never follow through. They tell you all these wonderful things and make you think that this is place youll find your job. After just one month, the person I was working with (if you can call it that) just stopped returning my calls and emails. And if you ask about a job, they will tell you you dont fit all the requirements for our client, when you have ONE thing less than what they want. Nobody has ever heard of meeting the person before making a judgement call? I would never suggest this place.....

Great place but didnt feel the urgent need to be placed with a job. This place lacks diversity which I felt was strange for a NYC office; which is the melting pot of the world of cultures.

My experience with B.H. recruiter Heather Cukierman was not a positive. I was even referred to B.H. through a close friend who has reliably worked for B.H. for several years.I first met and interviewed with Heather in the Spring. We are now going into August at the time I am writing this. She never called back *once.* This is despite multiple attempts to follow up with her asking about work and attempting to get placed in a role. I also made it abundantly clear that my schedule was open and flexible and I was also willing to consider a wide range of positions in an effort to get working again as quickly as possible.If you want a recruiter that will make you empty promises, then ghost you completely, with a dash of condescension and an aloof smirk thrown in -- by all means, see Heather Cukierman!No stars here.
