Accounting Principals were my best match. As soon as I stepped in I realized that I was working with the best team to thrive on my career, very professional but also sweet and comforting. My first interview was with Erika. It was more focused on the soft skills. At the end of the interview I was introduced to her manager Aylin. They both mentioned that I was a good fit for a role they were working in. I was hired within a few weeks. I know when people hear recruiters they automatically want to not even talk to them, but for me accounting principals in New York was different...I met with Alyin, she was thorough and ran through how the process would be, she was clear and said that she would do her best to submit me for more than one role.She went over my background and was more interested in knowing what I have done in my previous jobs, and even explain that she is taking notes that would me to get auto matched if she is ever out of the office.After she went over how the process is and how she and her colleagues would call to share the job, responsibilities etc. She grabbed her I believe manager Erika and they immediately went over a opportunity that was a match. I took the tips on my resume that were given to me and highlighted the functions that I did not even think of writing in my resume. I would recommend to go into the office trust their process and be patient.

After an one hour “interview”, the suggestion was made to follow up in a week if they hadn’t reached out to me first on any progress in my job search. Yesterday I tried to email the recruiter (Robin Longo) and it was rejected after my email address was indicated as being spam. I find this profoundly unprofessional and should serve as a signpost to any prospective candidate to be weary of using Accounting Principals to help them with their job search.
