When I used this agency they were awesome. They always kept me working. Until one day they landed me a job where I started as a temp and got hired by the company. I highly recommend them.

I dealt with Melissa and Cornelius. Cornelius was professional at first but when I wasnt interested in the first job that he sent my way all professionalism went out of the door. I eventually did take a position with them and worked for over a year. During that time, I was told I accumulated time but when I tried to use that time Melissa gave me mixed messages. First I was told that I had to give them 7 days in advance. Who knows 7 days in advance if they are going to be sick? So a couple of months later, I gave them 7 days notice that I needed to take a day for a funeral. I was told that I could not take a day for a funeral. But if it was a sick day, I could take it. Think about for that for a minute. Yeah...it doesnt make sense. If I would have said, I am going to be sick 7 days from now, it would have been approved.

I submitted my resume simply for their review and the woman’s response was incredibly condescending and rude. If I’m not qualified you can professionally state so. I see why their reviews are poor.

I dealt with Candace to find me a permanent position in the legal field. She was super professional, attentive to my career goals and was able to present me many different opportunities in my industry. She ended up getting me the most amazing job and I would recommend her and Access Staffing to anyone looking for a new position. Ric Boltz was helpful in the beginning, very short in terms of his responses. You can tell he doesnt really care about the people that go to access staffing for help. In short, he never got back to me with a response after I went on an interview. I wouldnt say this is the most professional place because being thorough and honest with prospective job hunters is the job of a recruiter. I get that they cant help everyone, but a response would leave its reputation in better standing rather than never hearing from them again or never getting a follow up that states whether or not theyll continue to help you.

Access Staffing found my resume online. They setup an interview with a Global company. After two interviews they called to notify me I got the job. Working with Debra and Lydia, two recruiters at this agency, was one of the worst experiences of my life. They would (very incoherently I may add) eagerly email me potential opportunities they thought I would be a good fit for, and would proceed to ignore me wholesale when I responded that I would be interested in pursuing them. This behavior extended to the aftermath of interviews when they would ignore me even after numerous attempts on my part to get feedback. Eventually, after months of getting nowhere with them, I didn’t even hear back from them, just radio silence. How they get away with such unprofessional behavior is unbelievable. Do not use this agency.

AMAZING! They worked with me on my resume for hours. I was set up with a temp job right away, but it didnt work out. So a week later, they scheduled an interview for me with a law firm! It was a much better fit for me. Before my interview, I went to Access staffing and was prepped. It helped a lot because I got the job! I highly recommend Access Staffing. This is my first time with working with a staffing agency. Relocated from Tennessee and didnt know where to start. Walked in that day with no job, left that day with an interview and was hired within a couple of weeks. The young ladies that work the front desk are sincere and professional. Ms. Dennis was AWESOME, she took the time to check out my interest and see what would work best for me. The job is going great! I hope I will not have to need their assistant in the future (this job is working out great)...but if I do, Im going right back to Access Staffing. Access Staffing placed me at my job 9 years ago and just recently landed me at my new job this month! I am not talking about any old job, these are terrific firms that I have worked with in the past and at which I am working with now. I plan to retire from my current job, thats how wonderful this job is. Access Staffing is a terrific Executive Staffing firm and they have your best interest at heart. I worked with John Thomas (my fave) and Wendy Stern, both of whom are extremely professional and they both fight hard to make sure they land you at not just any job, but the right job! I have a long working relationship with Access and I always refer my friends and colleagues to them as well. This team knows the business and they get the job done!

While I liked my recruiter, what I didnt like about the agency as a whole is how they tell you they found an indefinite long term position and that only seems to last for a month and you get unexpectedly let go with a pack of lies as to why it happened. Typical NYC agency who doesnt care about the employee, just appeasing the client so the money can filter in by any means necessary, even if it means making you look bad. Dont bother with this agency. Seriously. There are plenty of agencies in NY where you will find much more promising work.

Please do not use this staffing agency. They are very unprofessional. How are you still in business? They post jobs online and have you to register, fill out paperwork, and they provide the timesheet. I have not received one phone or return call nor emails. You will have more luck in searching your own job.. If they have over 30 NEGATIVE reviews online, SOMETHING WRONG...STAY FAR AWAY!!!!

Mrs. Weinberg in Legal Recruitment is GREAT! I actually am relocating to New York from Charlotte, North Carolina, contacted her, and on a whim, she agreed to meet with me because I was in New York to find housing.She honestly emailed me back, and said, I will see if I can help you. Additionally, I got turned around on the train, and ended up there four hours sooner. Thus, I called her to see if there was any way that I could come in four hours earlier, and she accommodated me.Mrs. Weinberg is also very professional, and compassionate. She responds to emails promptly, and engages in conversations about your interests.Way to GO!

Access Staffing is the most unprofessional, scattered recruiting agency I have ever been in contact. I spoke briefly to one representative from Access Staffing about a Chief of Staff position(s) they are currently recruiting.The conversation was immediately cut off after someone in the room shouted no! and the recruiter immediately hung up. Perhaps there is a not so subtle bias in Access Staffings recruiting approach? They should nevertheless not be used for fill the local dog catcher position.

***Stay away from this place. Both New York City and Melville locations. The receptionists that answered the phone at both offices were utterly clueless. I doubt that both of them suffered from stammering or stutter, yet both could not answer one single question. I had to call four times to the Manhattan office and three times to the Melville one. They answer the phone without saying: Please hold, and just hear music. There was an issue with uploading my resume on their end and it still isnt resolved. I took this as an omen to stay clear of this agency. Id recommend you all do the same. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went in hoping that the staff would help me find a job but it was a waste of time. I applied to a position here and havent received any follow up calls from the recruiters. The recruiters are very hard to contact and your honestly better off applying somewhere else . The application form will take you about an hour to an hour and a half to fill out. ( just be prepared)!

I think what they post on Monster is fake, just to get you to register. As soon as you go to their office, the position is filled. And when you see something else online and call them right away to say wait a minute you have something, you just posted it on your site, they say oh it was filled so quickly, within hours... Yeah right! They will do anything to have as many people registered so they have choice. But for you, you will have to be lucky to get something. I think they have 100 times more applicants than they have jobs.

First off, this company is AMAZING!!! I had the pleasure of working with Debra McAllen. The process took about a month. Started with Debra helping me properly format my resume, which took some time. Then she began submitting my resume to a few clients. Tje process from start to finish took about a month and a half, which is about as long as she said it would take. I got an AMAZING job in a great law firm with EXCELLENT benefits and EXCELLENT salary considering I still havent obtained my Bachelors degree. Thank you Access Staffing and THANK YOU Debra for all your hard work, dedication amd attention to me. This woman was sick with the flu and kept checking up on me. Highly recommend this agency if you are looking for a better job in the legal field.

Had a great experience working with Mike Weinstein, Brad Bono, and Ric Boltz. They were very professional. Followed up on every meeting set up. Was prompt to reply. Gave valuable and apt suggestions. Helped me find a job in a month. I would highly recommend working with this amazing team.

The people there do not know how to return a phone call. So whats the sense of having a voice mail. Then when you call and you tell the lady who picks up the phone that you want to speak to this person directly, the lady then says they cant do that but can call to see if the person you want to speak to is there. Then they check and they are the lady comes back and asks my name then puts me on hold again. Then comes back on the line after a few minutes and says the person is not available. Right good one try again. 0 stars for no call back as well as the above situation.

Access Staffing works with there clients!!! I always get assignments within 2-3 weeks after calling my recruiter looking for work. My recruiter is located in Melville L.I NY and Mary is the best she calls even if she doesnt here from you to see if you are interested in something she have.

HATE THIS AGENCY .PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ABSOLUTELY THESE PEOPLE HAVE NASTY ATTITUTEDS. THE PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK ARE VERY SWEET AND WELCOMING, ITS JUST WHEN YOU GET BEHIND THE GLASS DOORS MOST RECRUITERS SWITCH UP AND ARE NASTY.

Awful. Do not waste your time. They met with me, told me that the job I found through craigslist was a possibility. Then they never got back to me until I reached out and they told me it was a no. They did not provide me with any other jobs that they thought I would be a good candidate for. I guess it depends on the industry that you are working in but I got a strange vibe from John, I did not like how he interviewed me. Think twice before going.

I was told in a email that my info was pending and that someone would reach out to me. NO one even called nor sent me an email back. This agency was horrible from the first time, I worked with them down to when I tried to work with them again. I was working with Althea at first which she started to be very rude and wanted to give me crappy jobs. Then when i was emailing her to see if there were any openings she wouldnt answer or if she did she had a smart remark. Then recently someone name Kimberlee called me and offered a position, however when i looked up the location it is in a horrible location and when i called her back she never answered. Why is this company so horrible. You actually have people that want to work and you keep over looking them.

If youre looking for a company to solve your staffing problems, consider Access. They have great people and do a great job of finding the right person for the job, not just sticking a body in the chair and hoping theyre a fit.

I received a voicemail from Kathleen Murawski about a position she had for me i called her back left a voicemail for her with no return call. A few days later i followed up with an email, and stated she called me letting me know about a position, and then i never heard back. Poor management, and recruitment skills on Ms Murawski part. Very disappointment at a job seeker !

This place doesnt even deserve one star! This is such a crappy place. Gonul Zivali(Senior Healthcare Recruiter) is nothing but a con artist. She promised to place me in a clerical position, but pulled a bait and switch instead. All she wanted to give me is shifts in group homes. And to top it all off, she was trying to not pay me. JT = John Thomas = SNAKE! RUN FAST & FAR AWAY!!! I recall sending Barbara Best an email and this jerk responded and said she left the firm. March 2010 he called me to retrieve information such as my large salary & bonus, and the name of the HR manager. At first, I thought it quite strange for him to ask name of HR vs. my managers name. He did not even ask me about my skills or what I did at the firm. As soon as he got off the phone, he immediately called reception to speak with HR. The idiot does not realize there is caller ID and the phones are backed up on my line. Also, he did not know I am friends with the assistant who sits outside HRs office and hears everything. After my exit with the firm, this jerk had my job posted the next day. Talk about sleezy. He is not to be trusted, nor should you disclose information to him. This man did nothing for me and he can say Hi to Satan since hes sold his soul for greed and profits. Curious why Access Staffing keeps someone like him on his staff.

Horrible experience..if you need a job they will find one for you, but if you don’t like the placement professionalism is outOf the window with these people I still have not revieved my last paycheck and it’s been over 2 weeks which is ILLEGAL..I spent all week trying to resolve this trying to contact whoever would listen to no avail.. a few hundred bucks has cost me a few thousand, and possibly my license since I been bouncing checks to pay for my car insurance, ..I’m currently in the process of filing a small claims against the company
