I heard good reviews for this agency. However it all changed when I worked with MELISSA PEREZ as my recruiter. We worked together for 3 months for her just to get me one temp job interview. After the interview I never even got feedback from her on the job. Very low class. I expected more from MELISSA PEREZ and ABACUS GROUP.

Coming into the Abacus Group, this was my first time using a recruiting agency, so I had no expectations. Dianne Perlman was my recruiter and she absolutely blew my mind with what she has done for me. She managed to land me multiple interviews for roles within companies that I was specifically looking for, within the exact salary (and benefits) range that I was hoping for. When I first met her, she reassured me that we were going to find myself a role that was a good fit for me and will make me happy and she was 100% correct. Dianne was right by my side through this entire process and gave me amazing tips when it came to my resume and interviewing. Best part of all is I felt no pressure from her to accept any offers that came through for me. She was more concerned with whether I would be happy in the role and with that company. Dianne is amazing and will work wonders for you!

I worked with Angela Fraguela. What an awesome individual. She never gave up on me. She worked tirelessly to find me a job. Shes so friendly and personable. The job that they do is not easy. Theyre trying to please both the client and the potential employee. Thats hard to do. Angela has always been positive and open with me. Its been a very long time since Ive had someone work so hard on my behalf. I appreciate you, Angela!!!!!

Jeff Hershfield found my resume and called me last month. I met with him and was very impressed by his kind demeanor. All recruiters kind of promise you the world and then, you never hear anything! Jeff sent me to interview for a fabulous job last week. He has something else lined up for next week. He is wonderful! Highly recommend him!!

Nikki contacted me on LinkedIn and was right away very friendly, helpful, and attentive. She was the first recruiter I felt comfortable working with! She called me every day with new jobs that came in and was very accommodating of my schedule. I had a job within a month of working with Nikki. I was very happy with my placement! Even once I started my new position Nikki always kept in touch and we even would go out to lunch sometimes. She is the absolute best! I wouldn’t want to work with another recruiter.

I had a not so great experience with this agency, I was contacted Jeff Hershfieldy, went for an interview and provided all my documentations. He made believe they had a few opportunities he was going to submit me for. weeks went by and never receive a call. Whenever I called to follow up he never even remember who I was. Later he tried to send me to a temporary position at a horrible office in the Bronx with very bad reviews. He called back several months after offering the same position at the same place trying to make me believe it was a different organization, but I remembered the location. He tried hard to make agree into going there even when I explained to him he had contacted me moths before with the job. I explained I was not looking for 3 or 4 weeks assignments and that the Company had Horrible reviews. I never contacted him again and never heard from him again. A complete waste of my time and Metro card money.

I worked with Emily during my job interview process. She contacted me on LinkedIn and the jobs she mentioned seemed really interesting to me. She was very accommodating of my schedule as I was in the middle of busy season. Throughout the whole process I never felt pressured and she always gave me adequate time to get prepared for the interview. Her interview prep calls were always super helpful. After a few weeks of interviews I accepted a full time position. Ive started at my new job and could not be happier with the placement. Using this service was such a stress reliever for me and I would definitely recommend others give it a try.

Lisa Persaud is the absolute best! She would not give up on finding me the best match by ensuring that my skill set and the companies in need were in sync. Not only did she succeed is finding me employment but she succeeded in ensuring that both employer and I were very well matched! I couldn’t be happier! Unlike some recruiting firms the recruiters at the Abacus Group personally interview each candidate to understand their education, work history, skillset, interests, etc. Bottom line they provide a ton of value to candidates and employers alike.
