As a first time solo dog owner (and a personal hate for doctors offices) this office and group has been such a relief and help through my puppys first year. They are extremely responsive and helpful, following up and making sure your pet is doing great. They run every cost by you prior to doing anything. Also Ive never felt judgement from the vet and employees for any rough situation.

I appreciate the level of detail my vet gives in their explanations of how theyre treating my cat, what his levels on blood tests mean, etc. Never had a vet explain in this much detail before!

I lost my dear feline friend Roni today. He passed away while being examined by your doctor, just prior to a scheduled appointment for euthanasia for advanced cancer. I am so grateful to the entire staff —doctor, assistants, and technicians alike — who recognized my anguish and did all they could to treat Roni and me with kindness and dignity. Under these extreme circumstances, and the grief and sadness which will undoubtedly follow, I want to say thank you to all of you, a wonderful group of people, for your understanding and compassion.

Excellent veterinarian and staff. I’m disappointed that they only let 2 people in the mid sized exam room according to some unwritten COVID policy — this is not a city or space policy, but just their own policy. If this were a public clinic, fine. But if you’re running a private pet clinic, accommodate two family with the patient. I realize most people will disagree, and tell me to take my business elsewhere, but a three person restriction in exam rooms is just as arbitrary as no restrictions on airplanes or exceptions to masks for sit-down dining. It’s all just bending rules one way or another without a clear, articulable basis.

Dr Kantor and all the staff are wonderful. They clearly have my pups best interest at heart and have always listened to my concerns and explained anything that I needed. The office and exam rooms are clean and we have always been seen promptly.

Really nice staff and vet. Thorough exam and everything was fully explained. Easy online appointment scheduler and their availability was very good. I also appreciated that they told us prices of everything before ordering tests. Prices seemed to be in line with most other vets in the city Ive tried. Ill definitely be sticking with this practice!

While the facility is spotless, courteous and friendly, I took my dog there with an eye infection, swollen paws that are getting worse and becoming furless and an ear infection. His ear is healing, with the meds sold to me, but his eyes are now swollen with multiple lumps around them. I gave meds a few days to work but they have been getting worse. I called them on 3 occasions over 3 days asking for advice and willing to go back and buy meds for the eyes. They never returned my calls and now I will have to take my dog to the animal medical center for emergency treatment. He looks terrible. Thank you Chelsea.,still waiting for your call .

Dr. Chu is caring and thorough, and we always feel like our pup is in the best of hands. Billing is also a breeze. The front desk deals with our insurance for us and is super responsive anytime we need a vaccine record. I cant recommend them enough!

Wonderful, caring vets. My husband and I have had three dogs and two cats as patients here over the past four years. You cannot find more knowledgeable, caring veterinarians in the city. The facility is immaculate, and the receptionists are extremely courteous and professional. Strongly recommend. The care is a bit more expensive than other vets, but totally worth it for the peace of mind and sensitive treatment. They dont pack in the appointments either, so you get focused time with the Vet Techs and the doctors.

Only been here once so far, and it was a good visit. They seem knowledgeable, professional, and competent. My little guy didnt have any issues, except waiting in the room for 30min for the vet, but all shots and exams went really well

I train animals privately and for Broadway Shows. Dr. Kantor is my go-to vet for everything from puppies to goats. Not only is she an excellent surgeon but she is kind and caring. She takes the time to make puppy vaccines and pedicures stress free. I have recommended her to clients and friends and they are equally impressed.

Really happy with their service. Had a surgical procedure on my little dog. 2 days later he was running around. Very thorough service and follow up. Youre going to pay more than other vets but the service you get is incredible.

I love the area! It is cleaned and they give out free beef treats to good dogs. Also, Dr. Chu was nice that she showed me how to cut my dogs nail as I am only 12.

Great place for travel certificates. They keep up to date on all the rules, do all the work, send the papers off to the government, all in a few days.

Everyone was so thoughtful at this location! They were so nice and really helped our puppy get better. This is definitely our preferred vet from now on!!

I took my boys, Charlie and Kiko, a Cavalier and a Mini Pinscher, to the Lower East clinic to start the process of our relocation to Australia. This place is the worst & they call themselves animal lovers or vets. They incorrectly performed a surgery on my puppy almost causing them near death, all to just collect some money. I had to take her to a real vet to get the proper attention needed because these people almost killed her.

The two stars are for the courteous service, but they over medicated my senior kitty. She actually got worse after she went. As it was, they tried to up sell me into services north of $700. I nixed several of those services, but still paid over $400 for my poor cat who now looks like shes on deaths door. She had a rash and a mildly weepy eye, after the eye drops they told me to give her, she cant even open the eye. They prescribed an antihistamine for a rash, now she just lies by her food dish. I stopped giving her the antihistamine a day ago, but shes still listless. I know its supposed to make her drowsy, but she looked terrible. I called the vet only to find shes gone this week (or maybe doesnt want to talk to me?). I hope they didnt do permanent damage, Im just sick about it. They had a lot of appointments open when I called, now I know why. I hope Im wrong and it was an honest mistake, but Im afraid I got fleeced at the expense of my poor cat. FOLLOW UP: My cat is doing much better after taking her off of the meds. I am taking her to a follow up appointment to a different doctor (also at LES Animal Hospital).

I did not go inside because i was just visiting but walked by and looked in a few times, looked very nice and new and clean inside and in a very nice convenient quiet street not far from Bleeker.

An expensive but worthy Manhattan veterinarian. Very kind Dr.s & staff. They are affiliated with Heart of Chelsea which is of the same calibre.

This is a wonderful Vet and a wonderful hospital. Dr. Chu and Dr. Kantor both do wonderful work. Cr. Chu helped me with a cat I rescued from Prince Street, and Dr. Kantor has operated on my both of my dogs with much success. Highly recommend.
