The staff is outstanding and they do their best to match your child with the appropriate tutor. They compile information about your child and based on the information they have, they determine the needs of your child, what the childs weaknesses and strengths are, and thereafter match your child with the appropriate help. Its on the pricy side but you truly receive what youre paying for.

My daughters used Tutorverse for SHSAT prep and the results were astounding in before and after scores! Such great teachers, books, practice exams, class and private tutors, etc. We just got our Brooklyn Tech acceptance! 1st choice and we are thrilled!

Marcus rappaport prepared my daughter in a very short time and he was so on top of everything. He sent long emails recapping sessions and clearly giving direction. He held my daughter accountable for the homework. He was a pleasure to deal with and he brought up scores in a very short time span.

Marcus prepped my son for ISEE and is a great tutor! I highly recommend him and plan to have my son continue to take lessons from him as well as my younger children. Only reason not a 5 star is because one of the workbooks had a completely wrong answer for a question. It was: What is the sum of all the positive integers from 1 to 100 inclusive? I used a formula by Gauss, and it told me it was wrong. I even searched it up and it told me my answer was right on everywhere else. I know I am not mistaken.

We were very pleased with the high quality at-home tutoring and test prep services our middle-schooler received through Tutorverse. He was subsequently accepted into both a NYC specialized high school as well as his #1 choice public high school.

My daughter was offered SHSAT Tutorverse test prep classes and practice test in Baruch as a group in last year spring and fall. She has attended all the classes and practice test. She got an offer to Styvasant with a score of 629.The test prep classes are very well organized and they send us summery of each class by email. The test prep books they have were very helpful. The home work submitted and graded through online. They also teach all the test taking strategies which was very helpful. My daughter also went to another test prep classes which she didn’t like and they were not organized.I am really thankful to Tutorverse for helping my daughter to get into her dream high school.

There’s nothing fun about preparing for the High School ISEE, but working with our tutor from Tutorverse made the experience so much better. Our whole family felt supported and reassured by our tutor and our test taker, who was incredibly anxious, was reassured and felt thoroughly prepared and even confident for the exam. We really appreciated the extra hand holding (for parents!) and the gentle and firm expectations for our soon-to- be high schooler!

My son took a large group class with Tutorverse to prep for the SHSAT. The class had students whose abilities and backgrounds spanned a wide range. He also took a smaller group class, with a more homogenous student population, with another well-known test prep provider. From my sons reports, the smaller class, which we expected to be more personalized and more in-depth, was not nearly as good as the Tutorverse class at preparing him for the SHSAT. He said that Tutorverses in-class instruction and workbook materials, as well as the practice tests, were better than the other providers, and that he felt better prepared by the Tutorverse class than he did by the other class. (My son did well on the test and was offered admission to his first choice specialized high school.)

I researched several tutor services / classes and chose Tutorverse b/c Marcus spent the time explaining the course work, the ISEE process, ISEE test / grading, etc. Marcus also tutored my daughter for her first session b/c we signed up late and she missed the first 2 classes. He insisted on helping her catch up. Marcus was always available and prompt in responding to my emails / answering my Qs regarding my daughters progress in class. He also recommended a tutor to supplement the class since we had a very short window before the test. Our tutor, Abraham, was wonderful. He was very responsive to our feedback, providing detailed updates of Lulus sessions and progress, answering my Qs and accommodating our schedule. Jennifer, director of the program, was a huge help in answering our Qs, assisting in managing any technical difficulties with GradeCam and explaining test results. Overall, Tutorverse was wonderful / beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Tutorverse!

I have been researching test pre in the NYC area. I am very impressed with the Tutorverse and their teachers. I have had the pleasure to deal with the owner Marcus directly. He is very professional and has a passion for teaching that shows when you speak with him. I cant wait to try one of his test prep books he recommended to me!
