George charged me $33 for a 15 minute haircut. I have short hair and asked for a simple cut, taking down the back and sides and not much off the top, expected it to be $20 as listed on their sign. He told me the higher price is because he blended it, so I accepted it at the time. But when I got home to inspect closely, the back and sides look no different than any straighforward cut, where edges are shorter than the rest. Even worse, its uneven with the right side of my hair sticking out more than the left side - others noticed immediately when I got home. I regret going here.

This was first time going to George’s and it was fantastic. I got a great haircut and George is a really nice guy to talk to and be with. He knows how to make anyone looks good and I highly recommend him. Next time I need a haircut I’ll definitely go back.

If you just need a quick, simple hair cut. These guys are great. In and out 15 minutes and only costs 20 bucks. The place itself is very clean and nice inside and one of the few places you can just walk-in and get a hair cut done almost immediately.

Irina is the best. Very friendly and professional. I always love my haircut from Irina, and she does a fantastic job on a facial shave as well.

A+++ Barber: I started using George about 15 years ago, after my barber of 20+ years passed away. I walked in because he was near my office, and looked like a simple old-fashioned barber shop, but I was very prepared to try a few before committing to another long-term barber. 7 years later, I moved to an office in NJ; kept on going back to George. Now Im back in Manhattan, but about a mile from George, and I would not dream of going anywhere else. Over that time, Ive had about 3 emergency haircuts when I was away from the city. None of them compare, and most of them cost more. What else can I say? Great guy; get haircuts; great shop.

The prices are competitive for the Wall Street area. Great experience, especially when Irina is on the job. She cuts hair well and in over 3 years has not been disappointing. Irina welcomes her customers with a lively greeting, maintains a smile and a pleasant demeanor throughout the haircut, and always has pleasant thoughts to share with you.

Im a man who gets a completely standard haircut. I still feel like this should, in some absolute sense, cost $15. Surprisingly recently, you could still get it for that in FiDi. Not anymore. At $20, this place is competitive for the area, and they do a good job. I keep going back.

The worst haircut experience Ive ever had. The guy rushed through the haircut(about 25 min, tops), didnt do what I asked, and when I asked him to cut it shorter, he complained that he couldnt spend that much time. And I wasnt asking for anything fancy.As he finished, the guy basically insulted me, and then he didnt even bother to brush off the loose hair with a brush, the way most barbers do.I will never go here again. Ill stick to Vincents in Brooklyn.

No respect for customers time, mediocre job done and arrogant owner with grandeur delusions. Avoid the place, not worth in any aspect.
