2/8/2020 The Love, Laugh & Poetry Tour: NYC. 3 fantastic poeteers Mike the Poet, Jay Martinez and Poetic Style, expressed their lyrical words, enchanting their audiance with self empowerment of the heart. Loved it, bought some books and tee shirts. Im looking forward to their enlighten experience again.
I enjoyed 2 classical concerts there. Opera performances were superb. The seating arrangement is great so you can see from every seat and are comfortable. Great location and easy to get to by subway or bus. 1 train is a block and a half away. Everyone was friendly and helpful and it was warm inside and the acoustics of the theatre were wonderful. Looking forward to another concert.
Broadway Playhouse - fabulous! Play-a-thon - fabulous - now at the Concerto Competition wonners concert!
I had an absolutely horrible experience with this place.I have never written a bad review for anything before. This is my first time. Normally, I just accept when things go wrong or I receive bad service, but this was particularly upsetting.I ordered some tickets online several weeks prior to a show as a birthday present for my fiance. We never received them so she did not get her birthday present on time. Later I found out that I would not be able to attend due to another engagement.I reached out to their customer service team and tried to speak with San, the manager of the box office. She avoided my calls for two days and never called me back. She did, however, respond to me through e-mail. She offered to change offer us new tickets to another day, but only offered on days that I have a recurring late appointment, which would not work.I asked her to kindly refund the tickets - that I never even received - and she declined citing the organizations policy. My fiance and I are graduate students working in the public sector and non-profits. She is a social worker and I work in public health. $80 is a lot of money to us. I believe in supporting the arts - truly - but I will never support this place. I was so disappointed in the service received from here. I believe that if you purchase something and dont receive it, you should be eligible for a refund. Period. If you want to support the Kaufman Center and their noble educational goals - I say support them directly - but do not purchase anything from their box office. The box office is managed by an unsympathetic, uncompromising bully and their policies are unfair and regressive. I could not be more disappointed in a place that seems to have a noble mission.
What an amazing place !
