Angel has been so professional, yet very kind and understanding when needed.We we had the Fire in house, he resolved any issue anyone had and made them feel safe.Feeling safe in our home is so important. I feel safe when he is here.Even though we where masks. I know he is smiling.

We just moved back to New York, and we wanted to come back to Avalon Clinton since our first experience was so great… And guess what… No disappointment! The leasing office makes everything possible to ease the process… Concierges are always welcoming and dedicated (Adrian was really helpful during the moving in!!).Now we can enjoy the nice apartment and the amazing view on the skyline!

We’ve been here for two years and have had a great experience. We wish they wouldn’t switch the concierge staff so much, as it gets disappointing to see people go after making a connection with them. Shout out to Angel, who has always been super helpful and willing to help in any way.

This is our third Avalon complex and by FAR our favorite. We absolutely love living here and don’t see ourselves leaving anytime soon. The skyline views, gym and rooftop are so nice. I feel really safe living here. Also, Angel (front desk) makes it even more enjoyable. When our lease renewal came up, Angels name definitely came up as a part of our decision to re-sign! He is always so friendly and helpful!! He definitely helped make us feel right at home here!

I always love how family friendly all the staff and the residents are. Also, Angel who’s a concierge, helped me so much when I had tough time getting used to the apartment. Every single staff and workers are kind and do their absolute best to help you out. Great place also very pet friendly!

I moved here during the pandemic and it was a smooth, seamless experience even with everything happening. The best part of the experience here and the one of the main reasons I resigned my lease (other than the spectacular views) is Angel at the front desk. Not only is he the most helpful consierge Ive ever seen in that roll in any hotel or apartment but his upbeat, happy energy makes me excited to see him everytime I come back home. I highly reccomend Avalon Clinton to anyone looking for not just a house, but a home! Extra shoutout to Earl at the front desk as well, and Eddie and Cranston with the maintanence team!

I’ve loved my experience living here - I previously lived in San Francisco where I experienced a lot of issues with noise from other residents, which I’ve never had issues with here. The facilities are top notch and, moreover, the staff is absolutely wonderful - Sarah, in the leasing office was so great she made me want to live here (no regrets!), Angel, at the front desk, is one of the coolest, most helpful humans I’ve ever met, and Earl, also at the front desk, is one of the kindest, most gentle souls you can ever encounter. Seriously, favorite place I’ve ever lived!

One of the best leasing experiences! everyone at Avalon (doorman, maintenance staff, leasing agents) were really friendly and welcoming from day 1 and throughout my entire application process. I worked directly with Daniel, and he was always very attentive and nice, he made the entire application process feel like a breeze (I would rate him 10 stars if I could!). The building is beautiful and well-kept, the units look brand-new and the terrace has an amazing unobstructed view of NYC. Recommend 100% !

Angel and Earl of the front desk, and Cranston of the maintenance team are THE BEST. Had a lot of trouble moving the last few items out of my old unit and they all made sure I was taken care of. Procuring dollys, helping me reserve the service elevator last minute, ensuring my furniture was moved smoothly and without damage. We have the best maintenance staff! Eddie came by to do fix a few items in my apartment, and he was really great. The two items were fixed so they work like new, fixed quickly, and Eddie was just a genuinely nice guy to talk to.

Just moved in to Avalon Clinton - this is my second Avalon apartment. The move in process was seamless. Daniel in leasing is a champion, from the beginning hes helped me take the stress out of the moving experience, and made it a real luxury experience. Patrick and Angel at concierge are awesome. ** Adding Bryan R to the list - someone who I met at Ava Dobro and who built up my trust in the Avalon brand from the beginning, thanks Bryan for always being helpful and the nicest guy around.

We just transferred from another Avalon property in California and Danny helped us make the experience as smooth as possible. He was very helpful from the beginning (explaining to us the optimal scenario for us in terms of minimizing transfer friction costs, from overlap, etc.) and was always very clear and smart in explaining apartment availabilities, the buildings amenities, the moving-in services (elevator reservation, parking of truck, etc.), very smart. Thanks Danny! Shout out to Angel as well, who welcomed us from the first minute we arrived on a snowy February evening to everyday since, with his smile and pleasant attitude. Thanks guys!

Over the many years of living in the north-side building, I have had a wonderful and great experience at Avalon. One of the buildings concierge, Joel, has been the kindest man I have ever encountered. He has been always so nice and fun to talk to whenever I see him in the lobby, and he is just so genuinely nice to everyone who comes in and out of the building. He knows everyone well and has been so helpful to me, and to everyone else that I have seen in the lobby. There have been multiple instances when I have forgotten to pick up my packages, but he is always there to remind me. I have also seen him remind other people while Im in the lobby. One day, he also recognized my mother and told her that there was a package to be picked up for our apartment. My mother told me all about the great experience she had when she came home. He can always make my day. What an amazing and kind soul!

We lived at Avalon Clinton for a year and while our life took us away from New York we frequently consider moving back to the city and Avalon Clinton. One of the things that drew us to Avalon Clinton were the online review on google and yelp which had real people who actually seemed to enjoy living there instead of being filled with disgruntled tenants. A year later and here I am writing a review about how much we enjoyed living there.The thing that made it feel most like home was the excellent concierge team. Joel was always happy to help us with anything we needed, and could be counted on to greet us with a smile and tell us about the latest dessert offering in the city.Tips:- The views are amazing from higher floors. Our F unit had both city and water views which never got old.- The bedrooms are carpeted, which we appreciated. One of our movers told us Avalon buildings are the only apartments he’d seen in the city with carpet in the bedrooms.- The finishes in the units are serviceable but aren’t super high end.- The maintenance team is great. We never had a maintenance request take more than a day. Coming from suburban home ownership to somewhere where we could open a maintenance request online and have it taken care of the next day was mind blowing.- The roof deck is usually completely empty in the mornings making it a great place to drink coffee on a warm summer day. Bring a hat though as there isn’t much shade.

I just moved into Avalon Clinton. The entire move-in experience was a breeze. Their leasing office staff is very helpful, and quick in responding to queries. The whole process from apt. application to eventually moving-in was very smooth. The building is great, roof deck offers stunning views of Midtown Manhattan! Looking forward to my stay here!

Cranston and Tim did a great job installing a replacement dishwasher with a minimum of disruption. Both are always so friendly and helpful and we are lucky to have them here at Avalon Clinton.The cleaning staff are also wonderful and work very hard to keep the building running smoothly and looking clean and fresh... particularly Bolivar who pays great attention to detail. I have noticed him cleaning surfaces that most would just ignore or miss!The front desk staff are always so welcoming and friendly. A special call out to Angel, Aundre and Chevelle who always put a smile on our faces when we are coming home. They make this place truly feel like home.

The building is very noisy, probably because of cheap materials. Floor, roof, and walls keep doing noisy pops, especially in sunny days and during spring and autumn when the temperatures change. Other than that, the rest is fine but this was a major problem for me.

We are very happy to have moved to this building. We have had an outstanding experience from our initial inquiry to moving day to settling into our new home. Daniel, our community consultant, led us through the process with thoughtful, friendly, and extremely efficient service. We are grateful. What attracted me most to my rare apartment in Manhattan was a private platform that even accommodated a one-man run, and it took me three weeks to finally find a satisfactory house in Manhattan, and I was lucky enough to find Avalon！

Avalon Clinton is a really awesome place to live! The first thing that comes to mind when I think about my time living there is the people.If I had to play word association to describe the people I got the opportunity to know at the Avalon Clinton I would choose: warm, kind, and empathetic.I was often just very struck by how nice everyone who works at the Avalon Clinton is. So much so that usually I like to cite a specific person in a review but in this case I am scared to because there were so many nice people I got to know over my time in this building I’d be afraid if I forgot to mention someone because I care about them and don’t want to offend anyone!Also, on a sadder note, I personally was affected by the Covid-19 crisis and Avalon Clinton was really very understanding and kind in their interactions with me on this matter and they made a difficult situation a lot less difficult and I just wanted to say thank you. I encountered unexpected flexibility and kindness and I just wanted to say I am grateful for this.But back to living at the Avalon Clinton! The other nice thing about living here is the building is REALLY well maintained. They take maintenance and cleanliness very seriously! And on those rare occasions I needed something fixed, it was always really nice how quickly things were repaired and how friendly the maintenance team always was.Well, if you are looking for a great place to live with super nice people I HIGHLY recommend the Avalon Clinton!

I ordered a very important package that I had accidentally addressed to Avalon Clinton. When I realized it while tracking, I immediately searched the number and called right away. To my pleasant surprise, Joel picked up and assured me he’d hold the package until I got there. He was so kind. A couple of hours later, I got my package. Joel was so welcoming. Such a warm soul. Had I been living in NYC, I’d definitely recommend Avalon Clinton. I’ve never met anyone so genuinely kind. Don’t ever change. Thank you again, Joel! I’ll never forget this!

For a few years, I’ve been visiting my uncle at Avalon Clinton especially since quarantine and I must say Joel hands down the most amazing doorman I’ve ever met. He always goes the extra mile to make sure we’re all set. We’re living in tough times but he always gives us peace of mind. Tim and Cranston did a great job today fixing my washing machine issue speedily. I was very pleased with their work. They were courteous and professional and rectified the situation quickly. The onsite leasing team was also helpful in getting the problem to the attention of the maintenance team. The group effort was appreciated. Appreciate the hard work of the staff.

We have renewed our lease for the 6th year. This year we were expecting to move to a two-bedroom unit. However, the leasing official was not helpful, and we felt lesser interested. And Avalon encourages newer benefits for the new tenant than the internal transfer. Hence we decided to stay another year without raising the rent. This whole process frustrated us. However, I must shout out to the fantastic concierge and the supporting team members -- Earl Moodie Jr: He is a wonderful human being. Very generous and supportive. An ideal concierge person to have in any building.- Chevelle Johnson: She is undoubtedly our favorite. Very friendly to the kid and always helpful and comforting.- Timothy Eimiller: He is an amazingly very professional concierge member. He always makes sure we follow the rules. Less expressive than other concierge members, but we appreciate his work.- Cranston Morris: He is a fantastic support technician. Appreciate your excellent work.

Their website and advertising is done very poorly. The information listed on the site is confusing at best and misleading at worst. What are the prices with a line through it? What are the actual prices of the units without the current concession (during one of the most unprecedented moments in history)? This is all valuable and arguably ESSENTIAL information to know when making a housing decision. Interesting that the prices are either missing (careless design) or being purposefully omitted.

I recently applied for an apartment online and the advertising was very misleading. They clearly advertised the net concession price of the rent but it was very unclear what the actual price of rent was.Daniel was super quick to get my application charged and processed but gave no explanation of this sneaky advertisement. Only until Im about to sign the lease do I learn the real price of rent. Even Danny admitted on the phone that the he didnt like the advertising. Absolutely pathetic and shady.I think to pull this in the middle of a pandemic when youre hurting as a business is really messed up and I just want to warn others.

Soooo shady! They tried to rip us off during a pandemic. Their prices online advertise a net concession which is all fine & dandy until you decide to sign a lease & they tell you the real pricing is $600 MORE than you had agreed to. I am not moving to a place only to move out the following year because I cannot afford rent, which was not disclosed to me until the very last moment. Disgusting. Perhaps they were hoping we wouldnt read the fine print. You cant pull this on people when money is already tight. When I complained, the staff completely invalidated my experience. Absolutely horrendous service.

Have had such great service with kind and helpful staff since moving here. Our fridge broke and all the food was going bad. We called the office and they had service staff replace the fridge in less than 2 hours. Also gave us a reimbursement for the perished groceries.During these times it was so appreciated. The staff were so kind and it was taken care of so quickly!!! Cant imagine what would have happened at last building I lived at! So greatful to be in this building with these staff.. you deserve all the great reviews!!

I have just recently signed another year with Avalon Clinton and am really looking forward to it. My past year living at the community has been fantastic. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. I absolutely love my home.The staff at Avalon Clinton is fantastic, and any issues have been resolved quickly and professionally. The front desk, leasing office, and maintenance staff are all very friendly and I enjoy chatting with them regularly. The building always has felt safe and secure, and there has not been one security issue in the past year.The building amenities are on par with other communities in Manhattan of this age and price-point. The roof top views (at both buildings) are stunning.Overall, I would highly recommend Avalon Clinton to friends and family. In fact, I think Avalon as a company is fantastic to deal with. There is tremendous value in renting directly from a property management company such as AvalonBay! Trust me, I have rented from private landlords and large management companies :)

Decent building with a very nice concierge team but cannot seem to fix the smoking issues despite promising to be a smoke free building. Its been a recurring issue for me for two years now and was told by management that despite the smoke free promise, they cannot enforce or monitor it. Theyve been working on the issue but with all the turnover at the management level, they seem to start from scratch every year which significantly affects the living experience.

I moved in around the holidays and Sarah Portuondo was the absolute best. After dealing with so many brokers and agents, it was a relief to deal with someone helpful and accommodating like her. She showed me all the different options Avalon had to offer and recommended me the best fit for my budget and space needs. I dont think you can find anyone nicer. I am really happy with my choice at Avalon--the apartment is beautiful and the building has great amenities. And beyond Sarah, the rest of the staff has been great and friendly

Ive been living in Avalon Clinton for over four years now - and its been always a pleasure to work with the leasing office team (special shout out to Sarah and Steffon). The maintenance team and the front desk are also great - theyre super responsible and responsive! Ive recommended this place to a couple of my friends, and theyre living in the same building now. Id recommend it to anyone whos looking for more space at a lower cost!

I stayed at Avalon Clinton for 1 year and half and enjoyed my time here. All issues were resolved quickly. The management and concierge teams are great. Really appreciate Daniel Cataquets help. Also, the gym in the building is amazing.

Daniel Cataquet was excellent, very pleasant! Since we lived out west, I asked if he could do a video tour and he immediately agreed (something most other places were unwilling to do). He took the time to show us several units and all the different amenities. Highly recommend him!

I moved in Oct. 2018 and I love it. I live in the South tower the building is always clean, feels like I’m living in a hotel. The service I receive from the front desk is great! Chris, Destiny, Joel, and Josh you guys are awesome! You all are very friendly, welcoming, willing to help, and are always smiling. I appreciate you guys. The location is also great near Times Square, Central Park, Hudson River, an abundant amount of restaurants, etc. Highly recommended place to live.

With a move in date right after the new year, I could not have asked for a better transition process than the one I had, especially since it was during the holiday season. Absolutely love the fact that Avalon Clinton is 100% smoke free and now dog friendly. The amenities are fantastic. The gym is spacious and the machines are well maintained. My favorite is the Sundeck. I love taking my laptop upstairs and being able to get work from home done while watching the sunset over the Hudson River.Danielle helped us find the perfect apartment we were seeking and made our overall move in experience comfortable. She is always very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions or concerns we may have.The maintenance team is great and always resolve any issues we may experience in a timely manner. We appreciate that Jose & Frank always come promptly to the time we requested and even give us a courtesy call before arriving upstairs.The gentlemen at the concierge desk are always a great face to see when coming home from a long day at work. Knowing we have them downstairs 24/7 really gives us peace of mind. Jason, Stan & Josh always notify us whenever a package has arrived or once our dry cleaning is ready for pick up. What most stands out with me is how welcoming and warm the guys are towards my parents whenever they come visit!

The staff here is amazing. The building is such a nice place. Today, my door lock went crooked so I couldnt get into my apartment room. Pedro, the maintenance man, was off-duty, but I asked him for emergency help. He told me that he knew my problem and he was so kind to come upstairs with me to help. He fixed my door immediately. This guy is so awesome and friendly. I hope Pedro has a great day! He definitely made my day!

Avalon Clinton has been more than a place to stay. Its made me feel right at home. Whenever I step foot inside, I can always expect a clean and orderly experience - from the gyms down to the laundry rooms. Even better, the staff takes warmth to a whole new level. Especially Joel. Our conversations never end at hello. He remembers my name, gets to know me, and allows for me to do the same. Plus, hes always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone out. And when I step outside Avalon, its just as nice. Theres no shortage of great restaurants and cocktail lounges in all directions. Not to mention, the Hudson River and Central Park are just a few blocks away. Oh yeah, did I mention the amazing rooftop? And the view? Avalon Clinton has it all.

I reported marijuana smoking on the 11th floor staircase to Andre but instead he told me I would have for wait for the leasing office to open for the situation to be rectified.. all in a tone as if I was being annoying? Im sorry, I have a young child and smoke continues to trickle into my bathroom vent..I mean, when I reported the same smoking issue to Joel in the past, he handled it in a completely different manner. Very professional and compassionate. Joel notified leasing and I was followed up with a day or two later by Steffon.Other than that, my living experience at 510 has been up and down. FANTASTIC maintenance though !

I wanna give a big thank you and my appreciation to Andre in the North Tower. He makes sure the building is safe while he is on shift. Greets everyone with joy and smiles. And always has the lobby smelling awesome. Just wanna give a big thank you to Andre.

This is our second Avalon building. We loved the staff at our previous building but the staff members at Avalon Clinton are all stellar! Warm, friendly, and always helpful. I really appreciate Sarah for all her help during our moving process. You cant beat this location in the city, too. I highly recommend this building and Avalon in general.

Having lived here for almost a year, I feel I made a great choice in choosing Avalon. The apartments are spacious, the building is clean, and the amenities are fantastic, especially the gym and the laundry service - Ive never had a problem with either. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the kind and welcoming staff. All of the doormen are incredibly nice and friendly, and I appreciate that theyre willing to talk even when you just want to chat and are not asking for anything in particular. Although I cant say enough good words about any of the staff, I have to give a special shout out to Joel, who goes out of his way to be friendly and welcoming, even if you catch him at the tail end of a double shift. Im glad I found such a good building, and Id highly recommend it to anyone else.

Came to visit a friend, and couldn’t be more satisfied with the attentiveness Destiny had to make sure I was acknowledged as I walked into those doors. Great smile and great energy. Even after exiting the building she made sure to say goodbye.

Leasing office and front desk members are not as warm and hospitableas in years past. Ive had a few requests fall through the cracks this year thus far (been given packages that were not for my apartment, guest sent up with no call and delayed response times when emailing back and forth)Maintenance team is still strong. Huge shout out and thank you to Mark! I appreciate Mark for always going out of his way to make me feel at home at Avalon. He is constantly smiling and positive, very helpful and will always say hi and ask how I am doing. I recently broke my toe and am in a boot for 6-10 weeks; Mark offered to assist me with carrying my package upstairs. This is not a small favor and this is not the first time he has offered to help me when I was unable to do something for myself. I have been at Avalon Clinton for about 4 years and considered moving but decided to stay because I really liked the concierge (and maintenance- best service anywhere and Ive lived in many places) staff. It makes a huge difference to have a familiar face at a place you call home. Unfortunately, the concierge staff changes too frequently here which has made this place feel less like home and more like a rental space. Concierge is the face of any building and I think Avalon needs to consider or perhaps appreciate the effects of high turnover. Nonetheless and that being said, Mark is the only staff member that has been here since I came and his (and Joel- huge shout out to him as well- not here as long but a great guy and very helpful) presence makes a huge difference.

As new Manhattan residents, my girlfriend and I have had a wonderful first few weeks at Avalon Clinton! Its in a great location, walking distance from our offices and with so many eateries in the area. The building itself is dog-friendly (up to 2 pets with no weight limit!) and theres also a park just a couple minutes away for our golden retriever to play in. A big thank you to Sarah P. who made the lease-signing process SO easy from start to finish!

Avalon Clinton is a place I am happy to call home. It is a full-service luxury building with great amenities, decent price considering the location and the positive experience you are getting; more importantly, top-notch service. Avalon definitely knows who are the right people to hire. Especially, Joel from the concierge team. He always welcomes you with a warm smile and genuinely offers his help if you need anything. A few weeks back, I accidentally dropped my credit card in the elevator and I didnt realize it until Joel personally delivered my card back to me at my apartment. I am very grateful that he went above and beyond to help his residents and saved me lots of trouble. Cant thank him enough! I will definitely highly recommend Avalon Clinton to anyone who is looking for a new home with exceptional service!

Joel asked for a review as if he was not one of the improvements that could be made here at The Avalon Clinton. Friendly individual but seems to have an issue being at the front desk during his shift. I constantly see him across the street at other building fraternizing *confused shrug* Mark and Tim on the other hand are great.Maintenance team is quick with repairs.Leasing team is responsive and informative.Views from the rooftop are gorgeous.Gym facility could improve (daily cleaning / some males like to workout with their shirt off *eyes roll*

I just moved here in November and since I have been here, everyone and everything has been nothing short of AMAZING. From everyone in the leasing office, to concierge, to maintenance, my experience thus far has been a great one from everyone. I want to personally acknowledge Destiny from concierge. She always greets me with a smile and is always willing to help. I understand people have good and bad days, but if she does have a bad day, I never know because she keeps a smile on her face. So thank you Destiny for being the awesome person you are, working hard as you do, and most of all, doing it all with a welcoming smile!!! You Rock😄

Sarah Portuondo is absolutely the best, kindheated, professional, helpful, patient, supportive, reliable, as well as diligent ( even reply my email on weekends and midnight! ), solve problem efficiently and precisely, always try to help from the residents side, making me feel at home in Avalon Clinton, also the Manhattan night view from the fitless center is quite beautiful, also schools nearby makes me feel quite safe living here, highly recommend Avalon Clinton. best choice in Manhattan ever.

I cant say enough about the experience visiting the Avalon Clinton. What made it so special beyond the overall friendly staff and amazing amenities was one person in particular... Sr. Community Consultant Danielle Castillo. Danielle is incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, patient, and accommodating. My husband and I, along with our 3 month old son (who was sleeping), met Danielle over a week ago. We were going to look at a 2 bedroom apartment and at the time, the door to the apartment wouldnt open. Danielle immediately called for support from downstairs and when that didnt work, she suggested showing us other options until the door could be fixed. We eventually left and went home, which is nearby, and got a call from Avalon Clinton saying they were able to open the door and would love for us to see it. We went right back to take a look and realized Danielle stayed after the end of her shift to accommodate us. Amazing! In the end, we decided on another Avalon building as that particular apartment didnt work for us, but we were so close to applying there... Side note: Avalon applications are the FASTEST EVER! Literally minutes! Having a real estate license, I know for a fact you cannot beat this application process. All around, highly highly recommended!

Weve been living here for 10 days now. Our apartment is amazing, very clean, spacious and with a really nice view of Hudson river. The building has a great location, in a very quiet -yet fun- neighborhood. Everything is clean and the staff is great. Laundry room in every floor and has a spectacular rooftop to hang out with friends/family. We certainly recommend this complex.

The Front Desk team in the South Tower do a great job. Bryan is always very courteous, friendly, and professional; he makes us and our guests feel very welcome. Angel is super helpful and always willing and ready to assist with any requests we have.Repairs and maintenance are carried out quickly and all work is completed to a high standard. Pedro from the maintenance team completed some minor repairs in my apartment, his work was top rate and he left everything immaculately clean after hed finished the work.

I just moved in July of this year 2018, and my experience living here have been truly amazing. My needs are totally and have been met here beyond my expections.This is the best staff I have came across in all my living experiences living anywhere. While all the staff are great and I communicate with them all on a sweet note. I especially like Destiny whose smile and love for her job brightens my day. Very hard choice indeed, but she has my edge for Avalon employee of the year. Avalon Clinton is the best place in NY to live in my book. My family and friends are so impress with this place.

I’ve lived in the North Tower for 2 years and am constantly impressed by our Avalon team! An especially big thanks to Mark for always being so friendly, organised and attentive. Mark has a relentless problem solving attitude & is always happy to help with any issues. Avalon Clinton is awesome! Ive lived in New York for a long time and this apartment complex is hands down the best. Rooftop is to die for. The doorman are so friendly and nice. Joel is the best. I can have the worst day at work come back and be welcomed by Joel and my day is already so much better. I highly recommend the building to everyone.

3000 miles from home, but walking in to this building with its fantastic staff every day makes it so welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities available are great, the views are beautiful and the location is very good. A special mention to Destiny who regularly has helped with all kinds of requirements and recommendations. Fantastic location, away from the hustle and bustle of times square but still in walking distance. In addition to this apartments are modern with a lovely view, great gym facility and rooftop.Staff are great with JP, Josh and Destiny always happy to take time out to help you out.

Ive lived in a bunch of luxury high-rises throughout NYC, and the Avalon Clinton is my clear-cut favorite. Building management is fantastic at all levels, from leasing (Danielle was extremely helpful) to concierge and facilities. The apartments are very homey and well-kept, the fitness centers are spacious and clean, and the rooftop decks (overlooking both the skyline and Hudson River) are perfect for either relaxing solo or kicking back with friends. If you have a chance to live here, jump on it.
