Beautiful place! I used Airbnb and it was a great choice I loved staying here it was luxurious. The front desk man at night stopped us (5 black women) and said “show some respect why are you in here?” And we said “We are staying here as guests” and he said “oh go ahead” and it was just very annoying to be profiled like that. That’s the only reason I left out a star because he made us very uncomfortable because he was abrasive and rude honestly. Overall though the place was beautiful and nice
Its a great place to live with a AWESOME staff! I feel very tended to and comfortable in all areas of the building. Amazing dry cleaning, apartment cleaning and package services on site that make my life a lot easier. The leasing manger Chris is just remarkably helpful.
I have lived here for a year now, and I like it so much that Im extending my lease. I love the lobby with its stunning chandelier, designed by Philippe Starck. Building interior decoration overall is beautifully done. Mostly young people living in this building, average age around 30. Lots of cute dogs. I dont see too many families with kids living here. Given the fact that the walls are thin, I hope it stays that way. The gym is decent. Never crowded. Nice, spacious rooftop for tanning or barbecue with friends etcetera. You can also chill inside at the beautiful, nice, quiet study area on same top floor. On site drop off for dry cleaning at the same floor where you pick up your packages. Cleaning service available if needed at reasonable rates. Staff is friendly and usually pretty responsive. The doormen generally call up when I have visitors, which makes me feel safe. The neighborhood is pretty, and not too crowded. Plenty of good restaurants and a few decent bars around. Dog park is super close by. So is the river, perfect for long walks or a run. Also down the street: A ferry point, where you can hop on ferries to just about anywhere (Williamsburg, Dumbo, Rockaway beach, etc) You can get an Uber from 95 Wall Street anytime within an average of 2 minutes. Citi Bike racks are nearby as well, They always have enough bikes to grab and enough slots to put them back. Plenty of subways (2,3,4,5,J,Z) are a short walk away from your doorstep. Enough said!
I moved into 95 Wall Street 5 years ago when looking for a temporary apartment in NYC, but soon fell in love with the building, the amenities, the staff and the management. The building is upscale and well maintained. Im an established professional in NYC and living at 95 Wall is more than just an apartment, its my home and it exceeds all my lifestyle needs. CJ the building manager is always quick to respond to my concerns or maintenance requests. He answers my emails in less than 24 hours, but what I really appreciate is the fact, CJ always follows up to make sure the problem was resolved and Im satisfied, making me feel like a VIP resident. Its nice to walking into the building at the end of a long day and have the staff address you by name. Its those personal touches the makes me feel good to be home From the rooftop lounge, grilling stations, gym, dry cleaning and concierge services, I can say without a doubt this is first class building. Finally, during the pandemic with all the uncertainties happening around the city, CJ and his team were in the building everyday and the services didnt falter, but actually improved. 95 Wall Street is the place to call home if you are looking for more than just an apartment in New York City.
The staff are great, but the building is not at all. It has ***really*** thin walls and is renting out heavily to AirBNB. The walls are WAY more thin than anything you will find all over NYC because this building is RENOVATED OFFICE SPACES. They DID NOT even bother with noise insultation! This can DESTROY your enjoyment under your lease entirely, esp. when COVID is still ongoing and you have nowhere to go. Who has time to become the sheriff of a bad landlord and a building not even meeting standard noise level codes for shared walls in NYC in between all of our busy lives? The TEMPORARIES were either making TONS of noise or knocking on our walls for sneezing alternatively depending on their styles! It was impossible to enjoy living here with the short term rentals and great before that. The gym is also not open like NYC allows. Its not like there are 10 amenities here. Theres just the gym. Some of the tenants are considering launching a lawsuit against the building and the various short term rental agencies they use for ruining their ability to enjoy their lease retroactively, meaning to get refunds for rent already paid based on that encumbrance.
I have loved my experience living at 95 Wall! Our leasing agent, Chris, was great and is always a friendly face. The amenities and location are also two very big positives!
I lived at 95 Wall for a little more than a year. The managment is realy great. Very friendly and helpful. The location is great, and they were very welcoming!
I love the whole structure, also the location is something out of the ordinary, it has a magical view of New York City, it is fascinating to live there
I lived in the building for four years and it certainly has the best staff of concierges and handyman. They are all very friendly and helpful. However, the building management is terrible. They lured me into renewing the lease for another two years with the false pretense that they would make repairs to the apartment (including panting the walls) and it never materialized. By the time I questioned the repairs, the building manager had left the company and nothing was done to the apartment, which quickly continued to deteriorate. The walls are thin and you can hear the people in neighboring apartments having sex or fighting - Not ideal for family. The rent is extremely overpriced for what the building has to offer. There is only four elevators that are always jammed packed and unless you want to wait 15min for an elevator during rush hours you will have to take the service elevator with all the garbage in it. There is obviously Airbnb happening in the building illegally because people check in with luggage every day. Not a safe community if you have strangers using the common areas (gym and lounge). The hallways are extremely dirty and It feels like a college dorm. If you are about to sign a lease i would highly recommend that you reconsider it and look at other building in the area. This is not a luxury building!
Wonderful living experience. The front desk staff is attentive and caring and genuinely friendly. The leasing office and maintenance staff are top class as well. Any issues are mitigated relatively quickly and the amenities offered are competitive. My guests are always very impressed and i look forward to living here beyond my current lease.
95 Wall has Excellent Services and very friendly comfortable environment. Location is Outstanding, the building and apartment, both are beautiful, just gorgeous! I love living at 95 Wall.Harold in the leasing, management office is a Class Act for His Service Excellence. He makes sure you are introduced to all the key people from the front desk, mail room, maintenance and management office. What ever you need, it is taken care of.The people in each work area are very kind, caring and very professional. They all takes care of you. I am so happy, excited and honored to be apart of 95 Wall family. Thanks to everyone!
The apartment house is great, unfortunately the company renting it out still did not refund my security deposit and is breaking state law. They have been contacted multiple times but failed to respond so dont rent a place here.
Great building, awesome amenities, beautiful apartments, friendly neighbors, and exceptional customer service!
Nice place & staff is covid19 compliant but some tenants still dont understand the concept of why you wear a mask!
Great building to live in! Lived here for a year and my favorite part was the location. It is very easy to go anywhere in Manhattan as well as to Brooklyn, only one stop away! Not to mention Pier 11 is a block away with easy access to everywhere including NJ. I also enjoyed the fact that we had an in-unit washer/dryer (hard to come by in the city!). Overall will miss living here.
95 Wall Street is an absolute amazing apartment building. Between the workers and the leasing office everyone is extremely helpful and very kind. It was the best first apartment I could ask for and I hate to leave. Hopefully I will be back one day. Definitely the best place to live on Wall Street!
Air B and B rents illegal rooms.
Ive been living at 95 Wall for about 6 months now and have nothing but great things to say about this building and the people that work in it! Everyone is always so friendly and they always do their best to help you in any situation. I had issues in the beginning with my apartment and Joel and others from the leasing office made everything easy and stress free for me to deal with. Im happy that I chose this place to call home, it has made my experience in NYC an amazing one!
The quality of 95 Walls apartments and service from management to maintenance (& everything in between) are best in class. It is an extremely quiet community with access to 3 train lines within 2 blocks. Im very happy living at 95 Wall the past 6 months!
I had a great experience with selected 95 Wall as my new home. Cynthia showed me the apartment I currently reside in, and she really listened to what I needed in order to find a place that felt like home. Very happy with my overall experience of viewing, selecting, and moving in to my new home. Highly recommend anyone looking for a new apartment with amenities, in a historical district, to check out 95 Wall and ask for Cynthia
Great views from Pier 3 of Brooklyn Bridge Park
The front desk is super snooty, rude, and unwelcoming. Something should be done. They know tons of people are temporary guests or residents and yet they act like you are imposing at the Ritz
I have lived here for almost 4 months and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. We also love having a washer/dryer in our apartment unit, makes everything so much more convenient.
It has been fantastic all around! The building is well kept, and the room itself is perfect for my needs.
Great location. Nice building.
Dealing with UDR communities at 95 Wall street has been the best moving experience I’ve had so far. I just relocated from Miami and the process wouldn’t have been as smooth in any other place. The staff was so helpful every bit of the way. Chris has helped so much while moving in and post move in (it doesn’t stop when you sign!) and that is a huge plus. Regularly other places just care to get you on the lease, not here. The day of the move in, without asking for the help, Bash from the front desk came to help me carry my mattress up, huge help.In terms of ammenities I couldnt find something better. Gym already saves me a lot of money and having laundry in the unit also saves me money and time. Plus you have all the subway stations close by
Doorman Gman Ciercecz(sp?) is obnoxious and rude! He doesn’t do his job at all! If you want to feel safe, hopefully he isn’t on the job! He only seems interested in chatting it up with college girls. The other doorman are fabulous and professional, but this one needs to GO!
A real rape- off. Stay away from this place because they will try to squeeze money from you even before you live there. My review reflects my poor experience with the rental office. I filled up an online application after I saw an apartment that was very small and expensive but I had to move and get in on July 1st and this was the only available apartment in the building. Talking to the rental agent at the building I got a very positive impression. The agent was very sweet and polite and promised to approve my application within few hours. Filling up the online application (dont do my mistake) on June 30th, I was charged for 2 types of payments. $125 as an application fee and $600 an online deposit which will be credited toward the rent. I called the rental office and the agent explained to me that if I apply at the office, then I wont have to pay the $600 but since its online, there is a deposit but I do not have to worry its refundable and in the worst case, if I do not sign a lease I will get refunded. Its sounded OK and logical and anyhow, I could not get to their downtown office that day.I did not hear anything from them within few hours or a day and could not get any answer regarding my approval. On Monday, July 1st, after I had already found another apartment to move into that day, I received a message that I got approved and should come in and sign the lease and move in the same day.I let the rental office know, that Its too late and I am not taking the apartment. The rental agent who was so nice in the beginning raised her voice and threatened me that I wont receive back the $725 that I paid which included $600 refundable deposit as she claimed before. Her attitude was totally different and turned to be very aggressive. It did not help that I reminded her that she presented different policy in the beginning and that a deposit is not a fee and should be refunded if a deal does not go through for any reason. More than that, on their site nothing mentioned that in a case of application cancellation there was a $725 penalty.Few minutes later, my account on their website was closed down, the apartment was back on the market and soon got rented. There is noting that even shows my transaction with this company. They had never returned my deposit. This is not a honest practice and its clear that charging $725 without any warning is a trap and consider as taking something without providing anything in return. To get my money back I will have to sue them which I definitely will that.BE CAREFUL! They are not honest!
Beautiful building and I have a washer dryer in my apt! Staff is excellent
Ive been at 95 Wall for 4 years and now going on my 5th and I honestly cant imagine living anywhere else! The units are larger and better laid out than other studios around the city, I love the breakfast served from 630am - 10, the 24 hr gym and concierge, not to mention the valet service with FEDEX and USPS delivery available to take my packages when Im out of the city. The staff has become family to me and Im so grateful to call 95 Wall home!Barbara Wye has been an incredible help moving in this January, it was a difficult process applying from overseas however shes made my move back to New York/95 Wall the most efficient and swift although I had many complications. Thank you Barbara, Josh Levine, and Harold Burrows could not have moved in without you guys!!!!
Great downtown living with nice amenities and professional and helpful staff.
Its the been the best experience of my life Ive lived here for 5 years and I wouldnt have it any other way!
I have had no issues at 95 Wall. The management is super friendly and so are the neighbors.
I lived here for 2 1/2 years (2013-2015) The amenities were nice including the breakfast provided. The desk agents were always nice and the maintenance crew was fast to respond to maintenance request. The apartments look very nice, but it can be a surface level niceness sometimes. Many things broke often, like door handles of flooring etc.. It wasnt enough to be frustrating, but you can definitely get something better for the same price. However, the location is convenient, near almost every train. I love the neighborhood, because it was in manhattan, but got quiet after business hours. Not a neighborhood to live in if you want easy access to night life.June, the lady that works in the package room is so kind and helpful. Ergys is an outstanding front desk agent and a gym is a great plus.
The leasing office and overall staff are filled with kind people who genuinely make you feel at home. Joel in the leasing office went above and beyond to help assure I had a seamless move in. Also honorable mention to Mark in the package room - hes great. Prime location in FiDi plus amenities (e.g. gym, washer/dryer in unit *heaven*), Duane Reade and Starbucks directly underneath the building make 95 Wall a no brainer.
Just had the worst experience with the mail room at this wonderful & fancy building. I am so frustrated and can believe the level of stress that they put me through - when all I wanted was MY package.
The apartment itself is ok. We stayed at the building a couple of times for a month. Last time is awful because the neighbors are very loud. Even at night they slam doors and have party. It took me at least 3-4 calls to the reception to manage the noise (more or less. Because it is still not quite but at least bearable).
Easy to work with, always responsive, clean comfortable and convenient.
Great place, I like working with Cynthia -- ask for her shes very personable, ethical and honest in how she does business
I have been a tenant at 95 Wall Street since April 2011. I LOVE the building and every single person who works here. From the Community Director, Josh Levine to the all the support staff, like Hava, Eerygs, Enver and his staff, Barbara, who helped me with my move, THANK YOU ALL for the best experience I could have imagined. From the day I moved in, I have always felt this place is a blessing. And the best part, the most awesome dogs in the building, I get to play with in the elevators. They add the joy and good energy here.
My experience with this UDR property was the worst. The same week we moved in we started noticing that the hallways were always dirty - tenants dropping cans, cigarette boxes, papers, and plastic bags; even in the elevators too.The building is filled with Pace University students who move around the building as it was a college dorm. Quite frankly, it feels like one.During my eight months there (yes, I terminated my lease early because of these issues) I had to complain about noise and litter over 10 times, and once even was forced to call the police.Unfortunately, the management office did very little to address all these issues above. Honestly, the worst experience Ive had in a NYC luxury apartments building - and believe me, this building is NOT such thing.
Nice apartments the kitchen was awesome the bathrooms was great the living room so big
Lived here for a summer. Great place.
Love it👌✅😊😊
Horrible. I am currently staying in 807, 95 Wall Street, New York. I am utterly disappointed with the service & attitude of the staff. My baggage was delivered on 30th Nov 2016 at the front desk. I kept enquiring about my baggage but no information was passed to me. On 3rd Dec 2016, I went to the airport & got proof of the delivery. Only when I show this at the front desk, did they acknowledge the presence of my baggage with them. Even after this, the attitude was horrible. Also It took days for them to get the washing machine in the apartment to get working. The worst part is there is no service.
Luxury high-rise. Cool roof deck though
I stayed here in a studio appartment and I really like it. Housekeeping is good, people are firendly, the studio is spacy and offers enough space to host some friends overnight. My apartment has a full kittchen and is tasteful furnitured. All the other rooms (Gym, lounge, lobby, roof deck) are also very tasteful. Only drawback is that the walls are rather thin.
Living at 95 Wall has been amazing-from complementary breakfast Mon-Fri to a clean gym and a friendly staff I cant say enough good things about this apartment building.
Unfriendly service staff. Shared facilities are run down.
Easy and convenient
Ok
Superb!!
Not so good
Awesome and cheap
