Friendly location. We have been going here for years and they have always been pleasant. In light of all the COVID restrictions counties have still placed on these businesses, they handled themselves professionally. My wife and I both have medical conditions that preclude us from wearing a mask. The workers didn’t make us feel guilty, didn’t refuse to wait on us (unlike some other local businesses), and didn’t pressure us to disclose our personal health information. They offer masks to customers if they are not wearing them, but RESPECT your inability to wear one. More businesses should be like this, and they will get more business from me during this pandemic.

Our pool was admittedly bad and I feel like they judged us for it. We knew we would go through a few filters and completely expected it. We were told your pool was very bad and theres no telling how many filters it will take. I asked if there was a better or cheaper alternative and if there was anything else that we could do to which they said no. We went to buy another filter and they were out so we went to a different Pinch A Penny and that staff was VERY helpful. He handed my husband a filter that looked completely different and said it has antimicrobial properties and will last longer than the other filters. So we asked what the price difference was... it was $10 LESS than the other filters. I specifically asked if there was a cheaper OR better filter. He also instructed my husband to use a spray to help get tough algae off of the filter (I also asked if there was a better way to clean which I was told no) AND a pool clarifier. He said it would help lump all of algae together to help clarify the pool. He asked why our pool people werent helping us with this. Im not sure either and maybe we really did need all 4 filters, but weve only had to rinse this filter out once (and really didnt NEED to but wanted to) and the pressure has stayed consistent. We did trust them, but not as much after going to the other store. They didnt seem to want to help us.

RUDE and Unprofessional! Ive been a customer for over 18yrs. Today their rudeness and accusations forces me to share . i would give zero stars if possible. i have only purchased chlorine from them, never any other store. nothing has been in these jugs but their product.. today the person who filled the jugs informed me that they would not fill them again if i put chemical in them since he said they made bubbles when he filled them. i understand the dangers involved in hazardous chemicals being a business owner dealing with hazardous chemicals myself. He was rude and threatening about it, not interested in what i had to say. Which brings me now to question the quality of their product, was i actually getting what i paid for?, again since the only thing ever in these jugs was their product. when i went back to express my dissatisfaction with the way i was treated. the manager/owner was just as rude and dis concerned with me as a patron. Obviously with little competition close by they dont care about customer satisfaction. This may seem like a petty dispute to some but this was handled wrong on so many ways. again i understand chemicals are dangerous and they need to protect their employees and investment. BUT IT WAS THEIR PRODUCTS! Never treat a customer like i was today!

Great service and knowledge.

They have been my pool people for the last 10 years since I moved nearby and I have been very happy with them. Friendly info and advise has been a constant. Certain items I do do source online due to retail pricing, but they offer plenty of special discounts and their products are top shelf.

Go here about 1 to 2 times every other week. Always friendly and knowledgeable. Josh basically has my stuff ready before we walk in.

First time pool owner. I walked in and was greeted by a great staff. They walked me through everything and offered so much information it was great. These guys really know what theyre doing. Was able to get everything I needed and way more. The education I got for free along with the great staff means I will definitely go back!

Great quality chemicals, never a doubt on the efficiency of the chemicals and always trusting them with my pool.

Lived here over 16 years and they know my pool. Kept my ancient automatic pool cleaner working for as long as possible with tweaks and repairs. Very friendly staff. Owners kids are great helpers too especially when super busy. Never saw a cranky customer, must come at a good time.

I have been going here for over 10 years and not once a problem. I was worried when the new owners took over about 2 years ago that the service may suffer. My worries were unfounded. Erica and staff always greet me with a smile, and a solution. So to those who have had a problem may I suggest you give it another try. You must have been there on a bad day.Also may I suggest dont go there at like 3 PM on Saturday when everyone else in the world is there. Timing is everything. Especially if you need to talk about converting your system to salt

Just moved to NPR 2 years ago and needed help getting started with the pool. Jennie the Store Manager was GREAT and helped with my chlorinator issues and other pool questions I had for her. Justin Peercy was very helpful and answered every question.Shout out to Dave the Pool tech who came to the house to assist me.This store ROCKS !

Hot tasty food, attentive waitress & a manager who stops by to inquire about food & service at a family friendly affordable resteruant. No wonder if Ill like it food on this menu.

Worst customer support. I waited over 25 mins for some help as the one and only associate sat with an old man as he fought with her about what his pool needed. I drove over 15 miles to get there. After watching 2 other customers leave I left to. I will never return as this seems to be the norm for the store. Too cheap to hire good help. The associate should have asked the old man if she could help the other customers at the register real quick so they could discus in more detail. I bet she had already spent over 45 mins. with him before I got there. I would have made him wait in order not to lose business as he was not happy with anything she was suggesting. Such a shame as we are going to be converting our pool to salt water as well as buy new cleaning supplies. Your loss!

Staff knowingly sold me a incompatible heater. Owner refused to pay to install a control unit that would make my pool function like before their installation. Now I have to spend $500+ to fix. Will never shop at this or any pinch a penny again.
