I waited over an hour for my teledoc visit with the doctor and no one logged on. A separate time, I needed my medication refilled and called the office. No one answered and it was on a day they were open. My father and I continuously called throughout the next three months and no one got back to us. I had to file a complaint online to finally get attention. Im not sure if its the office or the doctor but this place sucks.
The service here is awful! My daughter has tried to make an appointment several times only to receive a voicemail and never get a call back. The same thing happened when she had an allergic reaction to a new medication. She finally went to the facility and made an appointment for December 30. They never called. She then got a message saying she had an appointment for the 3rd she couldn’t attend because she had to work. She tried to call, voicemail again. I called and spoke to Elizabeth the scheduling supervisor and finally was able to get her an appointment. Elizabeth was awesome! Today my daughter gets a message from Gemma canceling her appointment because it’s been too long since she’s seen her and now she has to have a new assessment! It’s the facilities fault that it’s been so long! What are you people paid for? It’s definitely not to make sure your patients are taken care of.
First let me say that Ive never been a patient at this facility.Im giving 3 stars for the physicians that treated one of my children; their Diagnosis and treatment is (and will remain) greatly appreciated by my entire family. The negative experience I received was from one of the discharge planners. When she called to verify my child had a safe place to stay upon release I stated I have some concerns about a family member on my childs fathers side of the family... She abruptly cut me off and said Yeah, well, they have some concerns about you too. After that the answers were yes, no and okay...she clearly wasnt going to listen anyway. That was extremely rude and unprofessional! Had she been willing to listen, she could have referenced previous documentation that would have verified things I was attempting to tell her.
Great folks and wonderful programs. Has a long wait list for many things but def worth the wait. Great staff and Drs.
I was told to bring my son at 7:30 for an evaluation. It’s now 10:42 and haven’t been seen. I was never told when I made the appointment to bring a lunch and call in sick to work... never would have thought to get evaluated it would take all day. The person who set my appointment should have been more honest how long I was going to have to wait so I could have made better plans.
Makes patients sign forms when they arent even in the mental state to comprehend what they are doing. Illegally holds patients past the 72 hour hold just to feed them pills they do not need nor consent to wanting but since they force you to sign forms knowing the patient can not make any right choices for themselves it makes it so the patient has no choice. Rude and will accuse any patient of substance abuse no matter what you are committed into the facility for. Therapist will not care for your emotional problems.
This place sucks they never answer phone calls literally i being calling for 2 weeks straight with no answer. They dont even remind you of upcoming appointments they need new management that really cares about their patient.
Dr Don Davis is such a wonderful person. He is extremely intelligent in his field and always makes you feel like you matter.
Very helpful and empathetic towards different ppl and their situations. This place works for you if you really want it to work and want help. If you dont really want it then you wont really get anything out of it! These ppl are here to help you help yourselves, not do everything for you.
All Im going to say is these people are extremely professional, and with 100% confidence can say, if you have questions, great place to start. Reason I write this is because it took me a few trys to find competent, knowledgeable team.
Absolutely the nicest and most compassionate staff I have ever dealt with in a detox facility. Especially the night staff and in particularly registered nurse Amy and mental health tech Sue. The only negatives people said about the facility while I was a client was they weren’t medicated enough, which just shows that are not ready for recovery. In my opinion the detox protocol was as painless as I ever had experienced. I believe it is owed the the compassion of the staff. I love you guys and will recommend this facility to anyone experiencing mental health or substance abuse issues.
This place was a nightmare. Nurses and staff were entirely rude, and acted like they could care less about you. The food was absolutely disgusting and the nurses would catch a nasty attitude if you didnt want to eat it. Almost all of the patients inside were happier/in better moods and attitude than the staff did, it was ironic. There was a schedule posted on a door where it showed that every our there was some form of activity, regarding therapy and things of the sort. However it was NEVER followed and all there was to do was sleep or watch tv while the staff sat behind the counter playing on their cellphones. And asking for things as simple as toothpaste or shampoo and towels they could have a nasty attitude about it like you were annoying them. Its a terrible environment for someone who is already having mental health issues. This place needs to be shut down entirely.
It can only handle so many people. We NEED MORE places to accommodate the mentally ill. It seems like the communication amongst their front desk and the back could be better. I dont go there myself, but I go to every appt with my husband. It took 6* months for the first aval. appointment. There were so many issues and mistskes, getting meds, insurances, appointments that I wanted to kill myself from being there. They had us come back 3 times in one week, each time telling us something different on what days they have intake, ect. I absolutely hate going and Im not participant. Just this alone explains why so many choose drugs over getting help. Its easier than going thru their program. The Doctors have been fabulous, they dont deal with the grueling part. The rest of the staff are overwhelmed, and the front desk that WAS THERE, has to be some of the rudest people Ive seen at a medical facility. Last time there, seen new faces, with smiles, hopefully they dont fall into that burnt slumber.
The office staff laughed at me over the phone. Just was trying to schedule an appointment and one of the girls laughed at me when I told her something. Thanks.
I think the place is pretty decent to get any good reviews. Face it, most customers are wack jobs. Especially Julian Kazmier the local frootloop. Surprised he didnt whine about not getting hired here too. There is a reason that one shouldnt be carrying a weapon and it shows through the reviews he leaves everywhere.
I thank God for the good people I had in Baycare they helped me through some of my Rocky times that I just felt like giving up but I refuse to let this beat me.
Very helpful and understanding your medical issues
I have had good and bad experiences there. They helped me while I was there and the staff at that time was very nice and helpful but I can tell you, I was detoxing off opiates, and by no means was I completely off them when the released me on my 7th day. I used the patient phone to call my dealer and had 10 pills delivered to the Wendy’s across the street, I got high as soon as I left... the food is not great, they took away smoking in all of there facilities state wide which really sucks, the showers are cold and with no pressure and when detoxing off opiated a hot shower is what you really want. I was usually starving, the temp inside is really cold.. They mean well but I think the whole program needs to be overhauled and they really need to look into keeping people longer than a maximum of seven days. It took me a year after this to get clean and I did it myself. I’m now 11 months sober
I have had bad and good experience working with them, as with all therapy you get what you give. When I was not ready for therapy felt I didnt need it I felt dismissed ( I wasnt following directions for therapy or meds) when I was ready I have had excellent treatment. Don and Sasha are awesome.
This place is a nightmare. Your mixed in with crazy people. They take away your cell phone cigarettes shoes wallet and strip you of everything to ensure you cant leave. The food is lousy and they keep the place freezing cold. Its locked down like a prison also and theres nothing to do at all. They call crackers a snack and present it like theyre doing you a great favor. If you have a family emergency like i did. They will not release you. I voluntarily went there for detox. Granted they will sedate you to some degree. But your still fully aware of your predicament. This is the worst most inhospitable place ive ever been.
If you have an addiction of any kind please seek help here. No insurance no problem. Mondays early morning you can get help. Just go!!!
I was recently a patient at the ISU and i can say it was a great experience and is a great step in getting my life back together. All of the Techs were great and very professional and took time out of their day to personally speak with each patient. Getting to meet with the Dr daily to go over your previous day and go over your plans after discharge was very helpful. The groups and meetings throughout the day were very informative and helpful.Discharge Management (Michalena) was very informative on follow up instructions to ensure proper care continues after discharge. Not to mention you are fed very well and will never go hungry.
A place of necessity, office staff is not very compassionate, not empathetic at all, nearly impossible to get assist via phone.
The workers need training on how to work with and respect people with emotional and mental disabilities. They are always rude and unprofessional, especially at the front desk. You can never get anyone to answer the phone when calling to make an appointment. They cancel appointments at the last minute and then can only reschedule a month or two later. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Its a dump!
Cancel your plans for the day, bring something to drink and possibly some lunch because they will make you sit and wait. Oh and be prepared for something crazy to happen.
Attended a Therapy Session with Lisa Meintzinger. Left more Aggravated and Angry than walking in. Havent drank Alcohol in over a Year, but decided to get Drunk right after a 30 minute session with her. (YES, SHE LITERALLY DROVE ME TO DRINK) She offers Ridiculous advice to Real World Problems, than Mocks you adding insult to injury. Im calling my insurance to cancel payment on that last visit, as it wasnt worth a dime... TO NOBODY ! My Opinion - she has no more therapy credentials than someone who flips burgers, and I bet she pulled her license out of a cracker jack box. Long story short.... If you have an Appointment with her, dont bother... youll get more therapy sitting at a Bar. And the Hangover is still more Pleasant than ever having to deal with her.
This place is nasty and never ever help you . they treat you like trash and make you wish you never went there . the staff s awful . I have nightmares about this place . no one ever go here . please
Horrible organization and horrible staff. Nobody would help my 64 year old mother, who suffers from Parkinsons, find a way back home after her SUV broke down in the parking lot and was towed. They also made her wait over 3 hours to deny her any kind of help on site. She then proceeded to walk home several miles with NO phone and NO car. She could have been seriously hurt. This place cares NOTHING about helping ppl and took no care in making sure my mother was truly alright.
Good luck getting through to anyone let alone a return call for rescheduling.
Caring and always willing to help
Been here twice. The first time I walk in and stand at the front desk for 5 minutes while the 2 receptionists totally ignore me while having a personal conversation. I had an appointment today...same thing Im standing there and I finally ask if I have to check in and they both give me dirty looks like Im interrupting their conversation while they sitting there on their fat asses scarfing down their breakfast. Before this appt today,, My daughter had ran out of medication and I was transferred to their medication line I left 2 messages and it took them a week to get back to me to get it filled. So today my appt at The CHILRENS CENTER in New Port Richey (King Helie Blvd) office. Same thing....i stand there for 5 minutes while they eat and talk. And act like IM inconveniencing them by asking a question. They are very cold and uninviting. As soon as you walk in, you can feel it. Sorry but if you dont like your job ..go work somewhere else. Mary Ellen and Mirabelle or whatever her name is. Youre basically a number at this place...no personalized care or friendliness whatsoever. This was my LAST appointment I will never go back. Sorry but there are plenty of doctors everywhere and lots of options to choose from..you DO NOT have to settle with an office that sucks. I work in the healthcare industry and this place is a Joke. If I treated ppl the way these ppl treat patients I would be out of a job. Obviously this place needs a major overhaul. They should start with their fat ass receptionists who should be told to eat in the break room and not at the front desk talking to people with a mouthful of food. This place is disgusting. Pasco s finest obviously!
Went to the Harbor yesterday for a return patient appointment with Bill Hendricks. I specified on my paper work that I can not take Seroquel. It causes violent twitching and a rash. I got home and looked in the bag to find they gave me a bottle of Seroquel. I havent taken it but the fact that they were that careless is bothersome. Its a good thing I googled the generic name on the bottle cause its the same dosage as my pristiq. I would not recommend the harbor to anyone ever!
Good luck getting a hold of the appointment desk through the phone.
Didnt help my actual issue.. Hopefully I die
Dr Jennifer Jenkins is wonderful!
Nice n friendly staff
Full of doctors and nurses who dont care about the people in Their care. Also doctors are to pathetic to talk with family . They just make a bunch of threats to people who need help. If you refuse medicine they threaten to shove a needle in your arm . This place needs to be shut down .
This is a wonderful place.
They allow the patients to answer phones and do not monitor them hanging up on outside callers so it is very difficult to contact anyone inside and the nurses provide no assistance and have attitudes as if you are bothering them.
When I went there before I never had any issues, that was years ago. Made an appointment a few months ago for today and confirmed it two days ago, I get a voicemail saying my appointment has been canceled and to call to reschedule!
Takes a very long time to get in. not to mention the time it takes to get the first evaluation that you need before seeing someone. talking months. they seem overpacked too so i dont think they focus enough on others
I called to speak to a patient & she hung up on me & hung up again when i called back. Very unprofessional & lazy.
The biggest problem with the harbor is that you cannot reach them by phone, fax or email so even my pharmacy cant reach them. All changes or transactions must be made in person at their office. If you can navigate their phone tree it is possible to reach a call center rep but they usually tell you to visit in person.
Not the best experience but ONLY walk in counselling i know of
They sent my friend home during the worst part of her detox after being there for 5 days. She was shaking and puking every 30 minutes. Needless to say she didnt get clean.
Staff is rude af . Don’t go here
Caring staff
WAS a patient there. Asked for my records to be sent to a new doctor out of state where I moved. Havent seen one record faxed....did I mention that was almost 5+ years ago? Very unprofessional!! If I could give zero stars I would!
Excellent.
This place is a nightmare
Very helpful.
Wonderful staff
Stay as long as you can until your through with your detox . took me 8 days but everyone is different...saved my life probably
Did not help at all
Mental healthy

Tremendous shit that they are one the patient takes for a reason and they put another one that they want to them tremendous attention bad me or half a star I give them are garbageaaaaaaa
