My dgtr is 10 and has never been to a hair salon. Brooklyn took her in and made her feel at ease and gave her a gorgeous cut. We are extremely happy with how it turned out and hopeful we can keep Brooklyn as our new hair stylist for a long, long time.

I stopped going to this salon in 2014 when it had an entirely different crew. In 2016 I noticed one day it was clean and the new team was extremely pleasant and I decided to start making appointments again. I have gone to several stylists here and loved my outcome with them all. The Manager Jess has really taken great care of me. Always on time and they listen to what you want and talk you through the service and color. I always get an amazing result and if I have any concerns they are quick to help me navigate the desired outcome. This past year has been a huge transformation for my hair health and I attribute that all to Jess. I have made several appointments with her this year to manage the grow out of my length and I couldn’t be happier. She always takes her time with me. She has mad coloring skills and when I leave the shop everyone stops me to see who I go to for my long blue black locks. This is New Port Richey’s greatest secret! I can’t even understand any of the negative reviews. They are talented, clean and professional. Customers need to arrive on time and have expectation management with color corrections and cuts. They will get you to desired look just be flexible and you will love your new look! All the stylist here are talented and professional! You will love it here!

Decided to go and get a color and hair cut. You know that usually takes an appointment. I called and was recieved with a friendly happy voice and was given a yes. My stylist Ashley was very friendly and professional. I was not sure what I wanted to do, she made suggestions based on what I was thinking of doing. A big change and I think it looks great. They are very covid19 serious there also. Cleaning completely in-between people. I will definitely be back.

I have used Smart Style for my hair for the last several years and Jessica (the manager) is the best. She was able to repair my blunt bob (that someone else did and left a few long strands of hair) without asking any questions. She is professional to both customers and the staff. When a staff member comes to her and asks questions she is eager to help them and without hesitation. This allows them to grow as a hair stylist. I would recommend Smart Style to anyone who asks.

When I came for a hair cut and style I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted done. Not only did the ladies help me but they were super professional and helped me with my decision. Not only was u pleased with the service but my experience was wonderful. I had a great quality cut with great warm friendly personalities and conversations. I would highly recommend to anyone! Also with the pandemic going on they were super cautious and clean!!!!!!!

Always have a great experience when I come here. Even with a different hair stylist each time they all do a great job and am always satisfied with the results. Just got my sons hair cut this time. We waited no time at all and without an appt. She was done in no time and more importantly my son was happy with it. Prices are great and staff friendly.

I showed up at 10:00 (which the internet lists as their open time) and I was told to.come back 2 hours later because they were having a sceptic issue (whatever that means). Got haircut elsewhere, which is unfortunate because they cur hair adequately.

Went in for a scissor trim, ended up getting shorn like a sheep. On top of that they couldnt give an even cut! I was rushed through and pushed out as soon as I saw what they were doing!

Brought my 3 year old son here to get his haircut with a very vague description of what i wanted done. Our stylist Rosie was very pleasant and helpful. Extremely good with keeping my son occupied and still during the cut. She handled herself with great professionalism and got his cut exactly the way i wanted. It looks amazing, and i was so satisfied that me and my son have both been back multiple times. these girls are incredibly under rated with as much as they are expected to do without having a receptionist. Theyre not capable of providing certain styles, instead of admitting that, they just say they can, then hack away more than asked. Not happy I walked away SO MESSED UP. Dont recommend for anything more than a buzz cut.

One day several years ago my elderly mother needed a cut and color and my sister & I brought her into smart style. Mom was taken care of by Jess who treated her like gold. As a result Mom continued to see Jess until she left us. My sister and I are still taken care of by Jess who is both a wonderful person and stylist. In addition, Morgan helped me a couple of times and is also wonderful.

I called in to the salon in advance to check if they had a person experiences in doing ethnic hair. I wanted to get my hair blown out and straightened for Easter. The informed me that they are experienced and have someone that could do it. So I set my appointment last night and I was so disappointed. The woman that did my hair didnt know what she was doing. I told her that it might help for her to comb through my hair while she had the conditioner in it and she ignored me. Then I suggested she put me in the rollers under the dryer so that it would be faster so she did but as she was putting the rollers in she added this curly cream its like a gel to hold your curls she said. Im thinking I want my hair straight not curly why would you add that. So I told he just spraying it with water would do again she ignored me. So I sat under the dryer for an hour and my hair was hard. Then as she started straightening it it was sticky and rough. I ended up stopping her and going home and washing it all out and doing it my self.. I suggest they teach there hair styles how to work with ethnic hair.

I wouldnt go anywhere else. Jess is my stylist and i am always happy when i leave. She is super and pleasant. The staff is great. Always willing to help. Jess has also taught me how to style my hair. You wont be dissapointed. The prices are always good.

Make sure they know how to do what you ask. I showed a picture to Taylor who, apparently, had no clue. After she finished chopping my hair I drive straight to somewhere else, hoping someone could fix it. Now I have to grow it out again. I do not recommend.

I had one stylist who knew exactly what I wanted and the last one instead of saying I dont understand just said okay and gave me a horrible cut. I am waiting for it to grow out enough to get it fixed somewhere else. Already found someone who understands. Wont be back to Smart Style.

I was in a dilemma, my hair was a mess and I called and spoke with Jessica. She was extremely kind and professional. I made my appointment and went to see her. I can not say enough about Jess Jessica, she is AWESOME. She fixed a horribe cut from a different salon, colored and highlighted my hair and it came out awesome. If you want it done right, go see Jess. I am very happy I found her and would highly recommend her... THE BEST. .

Literally just left the salon after Rachelle finished my beautiful all over color! I came a few months ago and had a sour taste in my mouth from a poor experience with another stylist I’d prefer to be left unsaid. I wasn’t going to come back. I’m so glad I did. Rachelle, your amazing! The color is beautiful and I finally found a stylist I can come back to. Salon hopping is going to be a thing of the past for me thanks to this young lady.

I went and got blonde highlights put in my hair yesterday and it was not done right and the lady didn’t even do my whole head like I wanted and my hair don’t even have blonde in it it looks more like brown and I am not very happy and the lady didn’t even put toner in my hair to make it blonde. I will never go back there again. I am not very happy and I will not have my family go to her.

Ask for Alex. The first time I went there, she cut my hair beautifully and was lovely to talk to. The second time I went I had someone else and it was pretty bad, my hair had visible lines where she had cut it across, she cut off so much of my hair, and I wasnt happy with it. I went back a few days later to Alex specifically and she fixed it up really well and didnt charge. She told me what I can do in the future to ease growing it out and how she would help me do that in future appointments.

Good salon for a cut just depends who you get.

Convenient (in Walmart), reasonably priced, and always has great hair stylists working there.

I honestly regret even allowing them to put clippers near my head. You should not be charging for haircuts if you don’t know how to even do a complete haircut. Also as a “barber” you should never push a mans hairline back. I had a horrible experience and will never return. This was my first and last time ever going there.

They dont even deserve any stars but for the sake of the review you have to put in something.My mom and I went into this salon, I brought a picture of what I wanted my highlights to look like, the little girl who did my hair, did not even come close. She gave me this Awful Brown color and very few blonde highlights. My mom hair turned out ok, but she was Overcharged and had to pay double for haircut and color. Let me tell you, the management coach these little girls to upsell clients without telling you how much it will cost. It cost over $300 for both our hair. The little girl who did my hair said she could put in more highlights at no charge,because she said, I want you to be happy. I made an appointment and received a call from their so called manager who made up an excuse that I took too long to make an appointment, even though she called and said she had to check it out first and but she would be out of town a few days. I called her upon return and she refused to give me the highlights that were promised. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! DONT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE! THIS SALON DOES THINGS UNDERHANDED!!! THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

They didnt want to cut my hair the way I wanted it. I guess they didnt know how. The big boobed blonde hair dresser was very sarcastic to me !! She needs too retire !! My stylist Olivia needs to learn to cut hair it was crooked on one side I had to fix it at home . I guess thats why shes going to school part-time !!!!.
