Great shop, clean cuts, good people and nice atmosphere

Yo I’m Yung Worc and I just walked out of Refuge Barber Shop lookin like a boss! Highly recommended, this place is lit.

This place is the only barber shop ill go to, they are fantastic!!

So i did a review before i had time to register the fact that he asked for my deadname and was joking with his friends in the shop about how i definitely would ask for a card after my haircut. nice haircut if you dont mind being asked what your real name is as a joke.

These guys do more than cut hair. They are artists. They take their time and create art. I wont take my son anywhere else. The shop is clean, everyone is friendly. Very relaxed, casual, comfortable atmosphere.

My husband got his hair cut at this barber. It was the worst haircut he has ever gotten. Shorter on one side than the other. The top was uneven. They shaved down to his scalp in some areas and left other parts long.I can’t believe that they can stay in business with cutting hair this way. I have tried to trim it evenly and bought product to try to style it. No luck!Thank goodness his hair grows fast. We won’t be back and do not recommend!

Called to ask if I needed an appointment at 1 p.m. was told I did not need to. At 330 I finally got a haircut after everyone went in front of me cause they had appointments? I even called to see if I can get appointment and was told no??

I think this is the best barbershop around!!!!!! They have always listened to me... When I wld tell them how my son wanted his haircut.... It took me from the time he was 5 until he was 12 years old now he is 14..... All other places never listened and just did whatever they wanted..... Mike is a really nice guy.... And I enjoy how he interacts... With my son Germaine.... 😊🤗🙃

I am happy with my visit. The staff was courteous and helpful. Sly was the one who masterfully cut my hair meticulously and efficiently. Sly took his time and didnt rush through it. Definitely got my moneys worth and plan to go back for my next hair cut.

Best cut i have had in awhile

Got my haircut by another place down the road, needless to say they completely butchered it. So I came here right after and Mike cleaned it up real nice, I didnt think my cut was even salvageable, but he did an amazing job! I highly recommend this place

Nice place! Great vibes as soon as I walked in and got a shave from Tay the barber and ended up with a job at the place.

3 year old and 9 year old grandsons had haircuts. Cuts were good but both kids have cuts or burn scabs in their hairline done by the guy with dreadlocks who did their hair. That is terrible to hurt children like that who are trusting you.

Good People. My son goes to Jose. He will not go any where else. I have to call to make sure Jose is in.
