I cant express how amazing Steve and his wife are. I had to have my camshaft replaced for my Mustang GT and they did an amazing job! Steve actually showed me the bad part and explained everything to me - This is one of a kind shop. The car went from loud ticking to perfect! I went in because I had a warning light for my oil and the transmission was acting up. They were fast to diagnose it. I ended up selling the car as is, as I didn’t want to put any more money into it. The didn’t even charge me to diagnose it!!! Excellent honest quality service you can trust. I will definitely be back for any future maintenance/repairs.

We had an old 1982 RV we purchased that had a new engine installed, but the carburetor needed to be rebuild. Got an appointment right away and there was no delay in getting the repairs done and getting us back on the road. Everyone was very friendly, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. We will use Master Mechanics in New Port Richey next time we need a repair.

I brought in a 1970s muscle car along with upgraded parts including tubular control arms that I bought online, and Steve and his team did a superb job replacing them in the front suspension. Its becoming more difficult to find mechanics that are experienced with older cars, and he didnt hesitate in knowing how to do the job. He also arranged for an alignment, and not many know how to do this either. Steve and his team and front office were very professional and friendly. They even gave me a goody bag of candy on the way out! Great experience all around and I will go back.

Called and spoke with Steve as I was looking to purchase a car from a local dealership. I’m in Indiana and wanted a mechanic who would do an inspection for me. Steve called me after the inspection was complete. He was very honest about the findings and helped me make my decision. Best $50 I’ve spent in a long time!

There arent too many mechanics in the world anymore - a lot of technicians and part changers but not many around who actually know how to Fix things vs. just replace them. They Are out there but you have to look very hard to find the good and honest ones - or you could just take my advice from here and call Master Mechanics whenever you need them. I was driving my 2012 Grand Caravan headed out on an errand and my battery light just came on without warning. I had just replaced the battery in January and was pretty sure that was not the issue. Sure enough after 148800 miles I need an alternator. I called the shop up en route to where I was going and was advised to just bring it down to get checked out. Shop owner Steve informed me it was indeed time for an alternator. I happen to work for a garage in a neighboring county - Currently on furlough due to Covid 19 and I can tell you that their pricing is more than reasonable and the work is quality! Steve once said he charges the way he does to make a living and to be able to still sleep at night. I trust them completely and you can too!

Had 3 different shops tell me I needed timing chain work. 1200.00 - 1500.00 quoted. Oil light came on 3 days ago so I stopped by and had Steve listen to my engine. Asked me how long check oil light had been on. Told him 3 days and another mechanic said I was a quart low. Well...4 quarts of oil and 20.00 later my car sounds and runs better. Steve could have ripped me off if he was another kind of mechanic. He is not, and has my respect and biz from this day on. Much respect to Master Mechanics.

Took my car here for what I thought was relatively expensive AC work. Turns out the computer in the car just needed to be restarted (very old car). Didnt even charge me to look at it.Ill be back. Not only is that very honest, he could have charged me for the diagnosis. I would have gladly paid $30 to $50.

Ive used Master Mechanics for over 12 years. They have saved me many times by telling me I dont need to do something that a dealer or tire store insisted needed done. This visit he worked me in to replace an alternator so that I could use the car to make a needed visit. Defiantly would recommend.

I had a pleasant experience dealing with Master Mechanics Inc. The gentleman who scheduled my oil change over the phone was kind, courteous, and accommodating. Unlike other mechanic shops, my car was ready to pick up in less than an hour. The lady who cashed me out was equally as friendly. Before leaving, she thanked me for my business and gave me an Easter goody bag filled with mini pretzels and various chocolates. I was really impressed by this gesture, what a nice touch! I will definitely be a repeat customer at Master Mechanics :)

Steve and his guys replaced my mothers alternator 2 times in less than 6 months. They said they got a bad one, so okay. Shes had to use 2 of her 3 toes from triple a, and has finally given up. She goes to the store yesterday, it dies in the parking lot. Goes to take it to the dealer, and its dead again this morning. Now shes on the third (and final) tow for the year. Shes used them all within a week.

Horrible service!! I needed a couple door handles replaced which should have been a simple cosmetic fix. Instead, they ordered the wrong part for one & said they couldnt guarantee it would even be functional when he put it back on. (It broke right when I got it back & now I cannot even open my door.) With the other handle, he said the door panel might crack while replacing & he wouldnt be responsible. (Really?? You might break something else trying to fix it but it wont be your problem??) Dont waste your time on these people. They are careless, rude, & unprofessional..

We have been using Master Mechanics for our company vehicles for years. Actually, I can not remember a time when we didnt use them, so it only makes sense to bring our personal vehicles to them as well. We have broken down out of state and had no choice but to go to an unknown mechanic where we were told all these things were wrong. We would call Master Mechanics to tell them what was wrong and what was told to us and they would give us advice or tell us what to do. We brought it back upon returning only to find out that there wasnt anything additional wrong. So, yeah, I trust this company.

We have been bringing our vehicles here for years. Always a job well done, have never been dishonest.

I brought my car here twice. I should have learned after the first time. The first time I needed an idling motor. They replaced it for $250 and upon leaving it started stalling again. I brought it back and they replaced it again for free. Still, right after that my car started showing another issue - it was being very lurchy but I couldnt afford to work on it again so I just dealt with it. I finally took my car back and they replaced my ignition coil for $210. It worked fine when I left, and then that night the check engine light came on, and it wouldnt go into gear. I brought it back to them and it was running but wouldnt go into Drive. They tell me its a transmission problem. I go back after 5 days to pick it up with a trailer since I cant drive it - and the car wont start at all. A transmission problem doesnt make the car not start. Technically I cannot point a finger at them, but I feel it is much too coincidental that every time I left here something else was wrong and now Im either out a car or out 2 grand on top of the 200 for the now worthless ignition coil. Plus out the fifty bucks for a trailer from Uhaul and fifteen bucks for jumper cables to start my car that didnt even start it at all. I dont know what they did to my car here but I will never be back and will never recommend to anybody.
