Absolutely love this place! The cats are so sweet and very well taken care of until they are adopted. I would volunteer here if I was a local.

This would not have been a place I would have selected to go but my son requested this for his ninth birthday. I was pleasently surprise by this place. They had 21 cats and 6 kittens. The place was clean and did not smell like cats. This really surprised me. All of the cats were friendly and most were playful. The kittens were extremely cute and lovable. My son enjoyed himself so much and didnt want to leave. I believe we will return if my kids request to go back.

Ive visited several cat cafes around the country and Crescent City is unique in a few ways which make it worth your visit: the cats can relax and play in an enclosed outdoor patio which is fantastic when the weather is nice, prices are lower than many other cat cafes ($7 for 2 hour visit), and there was less focus on the cafe component. There were more cats up for adoption here than at other cat cafes (more cats for your buck!). Also, all cats here acted relaxed and at ease ... several cats voluntarily came up to me for attention or jumped on my lap, none were aggressive with one another, no cats scratched/hissed/ran away when approached (which Ive encountered in other cat cafes in part because the cats feel overwhelmed by constant visitors and cramped conditions). Added bonus: its a quick walk through a beautiful residential neighborhood from Frenchmen street attractions!

This was my first time here & we were very very impressed with everything. The cats are in very good health and the biggest thing is there is NO cat litter box smell. And there was several litter boxes in the appropriate area. The place was very clean and I will recommend The Crecsent City Cat Club for anyone looking to adopt a kitten/cat. We will be back to just have coffee/tea with the owner.

This is a fun place to go hang out if youre a cat lover. They have a few cats of all ages up for adoption, or you can pay $10 per day and come play with and take care of the cats. Theres even a little room for rent in the back for $100 ight and you can rent a can to come spend time with you during your stay. They get their cats from a shelter and they are fully vetted ready for some furrever homes.

Loved this place! Visited during my vacation here and it was one of the best experiences Ive had in ages. The cats were all very friendly and well taken care of, plenty of room to sit and a lovely cat-io to sit outside and enjoy the sun with the cats. Next time Im in New Orleans I will definitely be stopping by here again!

Cute cats and very caring and friendly volunteers. They also have toys for you to play with the cats. The bad side is that on a hot day this whole place (except for their catio and the table outside) strongly smells of cat piss.

Cute airbnb cottage behind the cat club, neat neighborhood, lots of healthy, happy kitties and a hostess that knows the area well. This place is GREAT if youre a cat lover!! Its clean, fun and the cottage price is right if youre staying in town a few days. 💜❤💛

Must see in New Orleans! These people are doing wonderful things helping the shelter kitties get adopted through the cat club. So much fun hanging out with the kitties--there is even a kitten room with super adorable kittens.If you are a local, get a membership so you can save on multiple visits. Also, they have cute cat merchandise to buy that helps support the cat club.Cute little patio to hang in while the kitties sun themselves. They even have a very nice little cottage in the back you can rent through VRBO. I stayed here during my vacation in New Orleans and I was in heaven! It was a very nice place and the kitties were allowed to hang out with us as much or as little as we wanted them too. Of course, we just left the door open and the kitties flooded in. They loved being in the cottage with us. It was an incredible experience and a wonderful way to support cat rescue and small business.

While travelling through New Orleans, I came across this lovely place and had the best time visiting their adoptable cats! The whole place is dedicated to the care of cats in need of homes, and you can just go and chill for a couple hours, hang with the kitties and give them some love. Lots of toys and ways to interact with the cats are provided. And all for a great cause!

Going here saved an otherwise stressful day. Its nice, quiet, with lots of sweet cats. If I lived in the area, Id probably show up here with a book to read.Everything looked really clean which was nice, but I still hesitated to sit on some of the fabric chairs because they looked difficult to -keep- clean with that number of cats. Still 100% loved the visit.

Love the concept of this place! A great place to go to get your fill of kitty love. It could have been a bit cleaner. A little small but the quaintness was also nice. A good place to go with a book and pet some cats that need some love and maybe even give 1 a furever home!

Best part of our trip to New Orleans! This is such a great way to give shelter cats an opportunity to get extra love and live comfortably while they wait for their forever family. We will definitely be booking the little rental that they have at the facility for our next trip out here. The people were great and the kitties were amazing!

Cutest place ever!! so many beautiful, lovely kitties and the ladies that worked there were so sweet. i definitely reccomend any cat lovers stop in! 10 cat kisses out of 10.

It cost $10 to go in and cuddle, play, and hang out with the cats. The cat club is actually someones house. she made her house into an essential cat sanctuary, and has helped the dog out many many cats. Its awesome! I was actually looking for a kitten to give to my landlord, who lost her husband recently. The employees that work there are really nice and attempt to know the cats well! My friend who has severe cat allergies had to stay in the waiting room, but he was given a Benadryl by the owner, so he was able to come in and play!

The only person who cared about my run away kitty on Thanksgiving weekend. I GOT MY LITTLE KITTY BACK withing 5mins of her instructions and trap rental. Im so grateful.

Went to a 10th birthday party here...tons of fun! The kitties are great and all the kids loved it. They also have an Air B and B out back which would be great for out of town cat lovers visiting the city. And the location is great....close to all the hip music clubs and restaurants.

A great place to go play with cats either in an indoor setting or a back patio setting. The cats are all from the local shelter and are waiting for their future homes. The modest admission fee of $7 goes toward covering costs. You can also book a party here!

Relaxing, and growing in popularity. I am so happy there is a place like this in New Orleans. One side of the house is completely devoted to the cats and there is an outdoor spot for the cats as well.

My husband and I have stayed with Eshyah twice while in New Orleans. Both times were wonderful. Her property is very clean and the renovations she has done are top notch- everything you need is provided. The location could not be better- most of the sites are within a mile or two of the property. Also, there is a fantastic grocery/liquor store right across the street! We are already planning our next trip back!One more thing- why would anyone only give this one star is beyond me- plus they didnt say why? Makes no sense........

Great set up for cats that need a home. You can tell that the owners really care about the cats and work hard to give them what they need. Please stop by for a visit. So worth it.

If youre looking to go pet kitties, this is a great place for it. For a fee, you can go inside and pet a whole roomful of cats. Theres even a catio if youd prefer to be outside. You can bring your own food and drink if youd like.
