History packed hotel with soft beds and a cool view. Staff was friendly and trying their best to keep up with demands. They were always friendly and happy to see you. Front desk went the extra mile when needed. Valet parking is offered and my car was returned in perfect condition. Price is worth the stay for a unique New Orleans experience. I cant wait to come back.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!When my booking agency made a mistake I asked for help, I received aggression and hostility. - Shame on you Greg. I made it clear it was not your fault. Your response was repugnant. - One employee doesnt speak for an entire establishment. It gets worse! They are under construction. That starts at 7am. If thats not fun enough the hot water is off. After the maintenance man came the second day, made a few trip in and out and hung out for a while he got nuke warm water. Also if you want food they dont allow food delivery. Save yourself, there are so many fantastic places that appreciate your presence, this is not one of them.

The room is terribly small. The restaurant and bar are closed. No room service. No microwave, no fridge. Very basic cable. Construction is literally so loud. One of our favorite places to stay in New Orleans. It has been remodeled and is very nice. Some amenities are missing...needs two chairs in the room, notepad and pen, more electrical outlets for mobile devices, pictures, laundry bag, etc.All in all it puts you in the heart of Bourbon Street, what more could you ask for.

How are you going to provide balcony rooms claiming to overlook the pool when the room overlooked the parking entrance instead. Didn’t mind the shared balcony with two other rooms but called the front desk and asked for chairs, there were only two on the balcony for the three shared rooms, and was told “just take the ones outside the room next to you. That’s all we have.” So a four star hotel can’t afford even cheap chairs for the balcony. Provided one bottle of water in the room for two people and went down stairs to get more. And the vending area was out. Asked the clerk and she says “I’m out of bottled water. There isn’t any available in The entire hotel. Thanks.” Not a store open within safe walking distance that late at night. You can Just do without I guess. Walk out the room the next morning to the very nice maids with carts full of bottled water. They must have been stored at another hotel. All in all if you want to rest your head close to the party it’s a good choice. The beds are comfy although you get one good and one worthless pillow. Gotta love budget cuts. But do not expect anything that merits a four star as they claim. Or any effort by the staff to accommodate the guest. I’ve had better at motel 6.

I had a horrible stay. I stayed from the night of the 10th through the night of the 13th and the first morning we were woken up by a drill or saw at 8 am above our heads. Then there was no water which they said I would be compensated for and they did not. the next day there was water but no hot water. The guest services associate acted as if I was inconveniencing her by interrupting whatever she was doing on her cell phone. The whole stay was a massive S**t show. I also just randomly got charged for an extra day 3 days after I checked out. Guest Services says I have to speak with accounting who will not answer their phone. DO NOT STAY HERE. There are plenty of hotels near Bourbon who respect their customers and will treat them well.

If you’re visiting New Orleans there’s not a better located hotel than this one. After visiting many times in the past, this was my first stay at the Four Points. Our room was great and larger than expected, the furniture was updated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also the staff at the front desk was lovely and they do a good job of maintaining the peace in the hotel while everything is going on outside on Bourbon Street. The rooms do *not* have refrigerators in them. The only thing I would love to see added would be some type of coffee available in the lobby for guests as I prefer not to use the one in the room.At check-in, we were deciding between Street view or Courtyard view and chose Courtyard at the recommendation of another guest because it is quieter, which it is. Bourbon Street is loud & unpredictable so this is worth considering if you’re a light sleeper.. but if you don’t mind it then you have a balcony right in the heart of everything.Overall great location, great property, would highly recommend.

Our room was wonderful, with very comfy beds, amazing dreamlike pillows, and a nice bathroom that comes with a blow dryer. The customer service was excellent. The only downfall, of course, are couples and groups of friends stumbling in from Bourbon Street well after midnight, always talking in loud voices, laughing and otherwise carrying on in the hallways. (Thankfully, you get extra pillows on your bed to bury your head in, but it doesn’t always help.)

We were lucky to be able to get a room in the back of the hotel above the pool. The crowd on Bourbon street is always busy and very loud. The second day when we went to shower there was no water as the plumbing was being worked on. They did give us another key to shower in a different room. The pillows need replacing as they are very lumpy and uncomfortable!!! Again there was no water for showering the day before we left....seems like this is a big problem as this is a very old building. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room:( If all you want to do is party party party then this is the place for you. Outside is crowded and dirty...the streets smell like old stinky beer. The best part of this trip was the wedding destination we were attending:).....Needless to say we wont be back.

Location is the only thing that this hotel has going for itself. Upon arrival I spoke with the clerks about booking a balcony suite. I was assured that I would be getting a balcony suite and it did not happen. I also did early mobile check in and when arriving at the hotel our room was not ready. When my wife told the clerk that our room not being ready was an inconvenience the clerk went back and forth with her which was poor and unsatisfactory customer service. When I finally got the room key the hospitality was still cleaning the room. When we got in the room even after the hospitality left the room was still unclean. This is not what we expected at all. Again the location is great however we are definitely disappointed.

If you just want to stay on Bourbon Street and are not concerned with where, this place will work, but if you want newer furnishings and a hotel room that feels clean and new this is not the place. First- Benches under nightstands were not clean, door to balcony overlooking Bourbon not very secure, Sheets had holes in them.....when asking for new sheets instead of sending someone to remake the bed they sent security up to our room and handed us a stack of sheets to remake our bed, one set of the new sheets had stains on them....when we went back downstairs to once again voice concerns the front desk agent was not very nice. The next morning at check out I asked to speak to a Manager who was on break, someone from the hotel called later (she was very nice) to let me know he went home and would call me back and still nothing. Not the service I am used too and would not go back or recommend.

First off let say, the location of the hotel, you cannot beat!! It’s in a perfect location! However, my experience here practically RUINED my trip. At check in initially, I booked a balcony room through a 3rd party, but once at the hotel Jay at the front fest told me that was inaccurate. I asked could I be accommodated to a balcony room he said I would have to call the 3rd party to change which was inaccurate information. He then proceeded to tell me he found a terrace balcony, and my friend and I thought that was great. Then the manager Chris comes over and tells us, Jay doesn’t know what he’s talking about he just got in and no we can’t change our room. At that point I was utterly disgusted because how do you you do that to your front desk associate. Instead of making it a big deal we took the room and proceeded to change and enjoy our vacation. On the 2nd night while we were sleeping the smoke alarm went off at 5am. Woke us up out our sleep. The manager Alexander sent the security guy Steve to our room to turn it off. Steve came in and said we were smoking which we were not!!!! We switched 2 rooms there for other reasons why would we smoke all of a sudden. Mind you Steve basically walked us to our room being a creep when we first came in at 1am. We were drunk and went to sleep. But Steve rode the elevator all the way to our room talking to us about nothing it was quite creepy. But then when the alarm goes off (which they couldn’t turn back off) he tells the manager we were smoking. The alarm had to have malfunction because it wouldn’t turn off. Alexander was VERY rude and condescending, to the point she had to be checked like you’re not going to tell me I was doing something that I DIDNT do! Lastly we had to Move rooms because the alarm wouldn’t turn off lol what a coincidence. After that Christmas turned it around and cooled out on us. But the staff needs a training on how to treat guest and about the accommodations aspect. Because we could have been accommodated!

While we expected it to be noisy being that close to Bourbon Street, there is an old traffic control device on Toulouse right outside our balcony that cars drove over all night which made a horrible racket. We appreciate the need for traffic control in the area, and the hotel should work with the City of New Orleans to replace this with something like the ones on Bourbon Street.

We ended up arriving at 5 am Saturday morning, but had booked the room for Friday night...unforeseen circumstances had us arriving late. The clerk at the front desk was asleep at the desk and we had to wake her up, I mean call out to her three times to check in. She was also asleep the next night went I went down to ask for towels. We originally booked a courtyard view and asked if we could change our room to a Bourbon Street view. We were told they were all booked. Upon being out Saturday night on Bourbon Street we looked up and noticed that not even half of the rooms facing Bourbon Street were even occupied...no lights were on from the street view, no use of the balcony, and it was the same on Sunday night. We asked a member of housekeeping if there were vacant rooms facing Bourbon and they told us there should be quite a few. We did not get our room cleaned the entire time we were there. When we asked about the fact that we did not get our room cleaned on Saturday evening at almost 5:00, we were told “sorry, housekeeping is gone for the day.” Not good at this time, especially with COVID precautions in place and the city being in Phase 2 of COVID restrictions. We also killed two roaches in our room. The atmosphere in New Orleans overall was great as usual, especially considering the time, but I was not impressed with the hotel itself.
