As a local resident, you can easily understand how we avoid entering into the Vieux Carre whenever theres any viable option available. Normally youll only ever find me within its confines if Im entertaining out-of-town visitors. However I go out of my way to patronize The Quarter Smith because of its excellent service, deep local knowledge and surprisingly good value. This is NOT a tourist trap. Rest assured that any item that you purchase here is genuine and can actually be a bargain. The shops repair and restoration services are impeccable and almost beyond reasonable.
