Great place for your tailoring and alteration needs!

Went to Thimbelina for at least 6 of the 9 years I lived in New Orleans. Incredibly lovely people who do great work, can’t recommend them enough.

They did a great job on my dress pants. I am very happy.

I needed a shirt tailored last minute. They turned it around in less than a week and did an exceptional job. I am super impressed with their work and the kindness they showed me. I highly recommend them.

Been taking roughly 1 item a month here for years. Excellent quality -- never once had them mess up. Inexpensive. Nice people... The two week wait can be inconvenient if you are in a hurry. But they can speed it up if you beg.

Great job and fast. They got my wedding dress altered in 2 weeks. Nice to work with and great service.

Picked up a dress alteration for my wife and they were really rude to her and me. They gave us trouble just trying to pay for the work. I was just unimpressed with the whole process and I’d recommend you go to one of the many other options in town.

Do Not Use This Business! They broke a zipper on my jacket, claimed they had not touched it, and then offered to replace the zipper with an inferior one for $45. No excuse for a business owner lying right to your face!

They are good, actually they are very good. They do great work, I cannot argue that. However, they were killing my bank account and they took FOREVER. They probably take forever b/c they have a lot of business b/c they are that good. So, if you have time/money, this is a good place.

These ladies are WONDERFUL!!! They were able to take out my wedding dress AND fill in the beading in the where they took it out! Very fast turn around and legit you can’t even tell that they redid the beadwork. It’s perfect!! These women do phenomenal work, and are so nice! I’m not really sure why people are complaining about cost because I found them to be extremely reasonably priced. Also, it’s very difficult to find people that know how to do difficult beadwork, and these ladies are everything. I would 100% recommend them to anyone with any types of alterations. Thank you so so very much!!!

Way too expensive with 0 communication. They still dont take credit cards in 2012 and took 2 weeks to finish my dress that ended up costing more than just getting another whole dress. Will NOT be going back.
