I want you to know how very pleased I am with Geaux Maids cleaning service! My daughter lives in New Orleans & had to evacuate her home just before Hurricane Ida & was 9 months pregnant at the time. She came back & then had her baby early. I flew in from California to help but needed her house cleaned before she got home from the hospital. I booked the soonest appointment available for cleaning & wrote a note to explain what was going on, begging for a sooner appointment. Well, the folks at Geaux Maids were kind enough to arrange a cleaning in the morning before she & the new baby came home & while I was flying! How wonderful for us all to come back to a sparkling clean home! Thank you SO much for cleaning so well, and especially for being so responsive to a customer! We are happily continuing with Geaux Maids!

Do not use. This is what a 400 dollar deep clean will get you from this company. Also, when I was called back after lodging my complaint, I was given a discount of only 80 bucks! I had to spend another 3 hours cleaning all of the things they didnt even touch!

They did a maintenance clean two weeks after a deep clean. They spent no more than an hour here. They did what they were supposed to do, so Im satisfied with that. But, the cost exceeded $100 - a lot for no greater than an hour, or possible less than that. (I left the home after their arrival. I returned in an hour and they were gone.) Also, my credit card was charged a day before the service was provided. My understanding was that payment was due on the date of service.

I hired this service beginning in 2019- at first they seemed great but then quality went way down. Terrible communication and inconsistent service. I was using the service several times a month - sometimes twice a week. No matter how much timeOr money there was rarely consistency between cleaners- often they would call me for the code to door when this information would have been in the notes for years. Cleaning was spotty at best- hit ormiss. Sometimes guests would have completely rearranged the house and no one would communicate these things to me. When I sent emails with photographs showing how the house was left, I received no response. They seem to have zero interest in making sure customers are happy. Will spend my money elsewhere.

First couple of cleanings it took a little bit to find a right fit but Hannah H. recently came and did my home and did an amazing job. So happy with the detail and care that was taken into cleaning my home. The office has also been available and helpful for any concerns or issues we have had.

Super accommodating when I had to come back home during their cleaning. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you need a last minute cleaning.

Geaux Maids offered easy scheduling. I requested a move out clean. I got a confirmation stating 2 employees would be arriving. Only one employee arrived which I fet had that there was so much to do for only one person so I pitched in and helped. Carrie was so professional, a delight to be around, and did an amazing job. Together we got it accomplished. Geaux maids offered to reschedule my move out clean when two employees could be present but I needed it done that day. Carrie gets 5+ stars of 5. Geaux maids gets 3/5 stars just because I feel like they should have on call employees to show up Incase another employee cant make it to work. It just wasnt fair to expect Carrie to clean that whole place in the same time allotment. Also even though Carrie had more work to do than she was supposed to she never complained a bit about it.

Classic bait and switch. Priced one quote and then called me to add $70 since I have an extra bedroom in my house that I do NOT want cleaned. I was going to be charged for having extra storage that I did not need to be cleaned. Stay clear, you have other options.

BE WARE USING THIS COMPANY. Geaux Maids is a “value clean” company, meaning you will get what you pay for and not be happy with the result. Over several occasions the service was just awful but the final straw that led me to cancelling their services was the maid throwing everything away that was inside the fridge and not even fully cleaning the fridge (still dirty inside the fridge) without any instruction to remove anything from the fridge at all. And the maid had specific instructions to wash the dishes and put away into the cabinets and left everything in the dishwasher. So, I paid for one task that was not completed and then did not pay for or request anything to be done to the fridge and all of my food and condiments were thrown away. I am still waiting for Geaux Maids to compensate me but it’ll likely never happen. I would never recommend this company to anyone so use your judgment before hiring them on.

This was my attempt to give the company a second chance after they did a horrible job the first time I used them and left an open bottle of some red cleaning solution in my laundry hamper. I was promised a discount/credit for this booking which I never received, even after questioning it last week when I booked this. I checked the property that was supposed to be cleaned this morning and it looks like no one even showed up...Update: Despite then assertions of the company below, I did provide pictures to them as soon as possible after they asked for the (while I was at work and could not physically take them). Their response to those pictures and my dispute of the amount of the service was to threaten me with legal action, despite never yet providing me with any proof on their end of the “5 hours” they spent at the property, which looks like someone maybe cleaned for an hour if at all. Also the 5 hours they spent cleaning is actually less that 2 1/2 hours based on the geotracking evidence they provided to me. If they did have two employees there for that time frame, they need to rethink the standards to which their maids are to trained clean for the prices they charge and level of service promised.

Geauga Maids did a wonderful job. I recently moved into a new home and wanted it cleaned up. Leantay arrived and was the soul of professionalism. She even treated me to extra organizing. I would definitely use Geaux Maids again and I will always request Leantay.

We called Geaux Maids to schedule a deep clean of our double in New Orleans. The upstairs unit is empty & we just moved into the downstairs unit two weeks ago. The deep clean we got in our unit was equivalent to what I could have done myself in an hour or less. Other reviews that said expect only a wipe down are completely accurate. We were honestly shocked when the maids told us they were finished. The upstairs unit received a much better cleaning than what we got downstairs, but why would we ever pay $400 for a whole house deep clean when we essentially had someone take a damp cloth to select surfaces in one unit? I still cant believe the quality of the cleaning we were left with. The ladies cleaning our house were very accommodating when we asked them to walk through with us and clean a few more things that we pointed out. They said they thought we were scheduled for a routine clean & didnt know we were supposed to have a deep clean. They also said they were booked to go to another house after ours so they werent allocated enough time to really deep clean both units for us. Again, why are we expected to spend $400 on a brief wipe down? Ill share a few details that we had to specially request them to do after they told us they were finished: 1. Dust the ceiling fan - we only have one. 2. Vacuum the rugs. 3. Wipe the dust off the floors in every corner. 4. Dust the window units - we only have two. 5. Clean the visible grease on the range hood in the kitchen. 6. At least spread the soft scrub that was just squirted in our kitchen sink. I believe these things should be included in a routine clean and should AT LEAST be standard for a deep clean as well. We are extremely disappointed with this company & would never recommend them. Again, I dont want to fault the kind women who cleaned our house. They were contracted by Geaux Maids with no instructions on what kind of a cleaning we expected & they were not scheduled enough time to truly clean our house. I would never consider our house clean now and feel I still need to spend a few hours tomorrow cleaning it myself. We booked this company because they were the first ones we contacted with availability this month. I sincerely regret our decision. I second the review that simply states spent so much money on such poor service.

We scheduled a deep clean at their suggestion since it was our first visit from them. However, they didnt even perform the duties on the regular clean list, much less deep clean. (Upstairs furniture not even dusted; bathroom floor not mopped; bathroom counters — fine layer of dust. Kitchen counter was still stained; several pieces of furniture not dusted or wiped off, did not appear to be polished; floors did not appear to be mopped; all ceiling fans still dusty. Windowsills — dusty/dirty.) My spouse called to complain, and we were told they would make it right. However, later on the representative only offered to remove the deep clean fee. So basically I paid for my house to still be dirty.

Rotated through 4 different cleaners over a 5 month period. Every time the quality was different. Rarely showed up on time if at all, constantly rescheduling. Customer service was HORRIBLE.Cleaning quality was average at best. Definitely not worth paying $100 to have someone make the bed and wipe the sink. Poor vacuuming, no organizing, left dirty towels everywhere.GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!!!

The ladies were nice and what they did clean looks great! I will take blame for not looking at some things when they were finished because I was distracted and preoccupied while they were here and leaving, but I did find some stuff after they left. Again, that’s my fault, and I’m sure they would have done more had I pointed it out. I also am not sure that the “deep cleaning” part I paid for ($110 more) was much more thorough than if I had not paid for the extra. Again, the ladies were awesome and did a great job in the rooms they did clean.

I tried to work with this company and they were less than responsive. They constantly sent me from one line to the next - which would hang up. They charge a great deal ($400 for a thorough cleaning) and do not follow through. Its a terrible service company in my estimation. I caution anyone who considers hiring their service. The only time they took this seriously was after I posted this. Only then did they contact me. They are concerned with their image but not their service.

Geaux Maids is great, and particularly during the challenge of social distancing. Katie came and took extra care with disinfecting surfaces, all while observing guidelines necessary to keep her and us all safe. Having the house thoroughly cleaned at this time, especially, was comforting. And the professional attention ahead of time (calling first, avoiding contact) was also welcome.

The first time a maid came out, she did not vacuum. Basically just pushed around the dirt everywhere. Today, we allowed them to come out again at their request and the dishes were not done upon completion.

Ive used several cleaners/cleaning companies over the years, and Geaux Maids is by far the best. Not only do the cleaners do a great job with the actual cleaning, the administrative side of things is also fantastic. Theyre always on the ball as far as answering emails, confirming cleaning appointments, and helping out with whatever you need. I highly recommend using Geaux Maids. :)

Service received was very subpar. Once finding the contact info for the business owners the situation was corrected. Owner offered to provide full refund, but we were only willing to accept the difference in standard clean, and a deep clean. I understand all business owners can sometimes have issues with individual employees, and operating a business is not always easy. Very pleased with the professional way things were handled.

Geaux Maids has been great. Jasmine comes to the house right at the agreed upon time and does a much more thorough job cleaning everything than I would do. The company responds quickly to changes in my schedule and they were even prompt to schedule the first cleaning. I will definitely keep using them while Im staying in NOLA.

The woman who cleaned my house had a wonderful personality. She was friendly and worked for several hours. I did what I thought to be a good look through but after she left I realized the baseboards in the bathroom were dirty and the kitchen counter wasn’t clean. While she did a decent job- I don’t really feel that I got $327 worth of cleaning- especially since I didn’t even have her vacuum.4/27/18 Update: After reading my 3 star review, Geaux Maid President made outreach to me in an effort to correct the issues. He sent out a different lady, named Jessica, and she did amazing. She paid great attention to detail and took pride in her work. She was pleasant, friendly, and I would love to have her back! Yes, painting is the next project. But what I needed done before anyone else could come in, was a quality clean which I did not get, for almost $400 at that. Not a single interior window was cleaned, and still, my master bathroom is filthy behind the toilet. Neither of those have anything to do with painting. Low quality job, low quality rating.

Absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for what I asked him to do and actually needed them to do. I had been more less bedridden for the past month and a half and my apartment became into a horrible horrible situation. Every morning I woke up I just felt overwhelmed. When I start feeling better I went out of town and I wanted them to clean the apartment while I was gone. They were able to accommodate every single request I had. I booked an appointment online on July 4 for the next day, and someone actually got back to me even though it was a holiday, and were able to send someone over at my requested time on the 5th. I was very happy with the service from Geaux Maids. They were very reasonably priced and on time. They told me 8:30 am and they were there at 8:30 on the dot. They were also able to fit me in quick. I called on a Wednesday for Friday and they were able to get me in. The only issue that I had was when the lady swept she seemed to have missed a few places. With a dog and toddler my house tends to have a lot of dust and hair everywhere. There were a couple of places behind the doors that were missed. You would only be able to see that if you closed the door. Other then that they were great and will be using them again.

We had Geaux Maids handle our rent house in New Orleans. They sent Sandy all but one time and she was awesome!! They were on time every week and had good prices. My old lady wasnt cutting it. I would recommend them to anyone. I would still be using them but we sold the rental.

We scheduled a deep cleaning for the day before Thanksgiving. There were a lot of positives. The web interface and communication leading up to the appointment was good. They did not require a pre-visit to make their estimate. The cleaner was on time, stayed for five hours and did a nice job of cleaning. A manager also came by to introduce himself and check on the progress.The only minor negative would be that I have received 26 emails in total; some appointment reminders but mostly marketing.All in all, they are obviously eager to provide a good service. We are happy with the work and considering a recurring service.

I tried to book online and they gave me a date and time online. I got a call from their office saying they were not available on that date. I reluctantly let them book for the following Saturday and then they told me they could not make it. They charged my card a date ahead of time. They were not rude or snippy just unprofessional. I was going to book and annual if they did good, They just lost $7020 a year. They apparently do get cleaning but I will never know. I represent new business which is the life blood and any company and they failed.

Coming home to a clean house after a stressful long day at work was the best part of this experience. Little details werent left out. It was immaculate! Looking forward to my next clean.

Good cleaning for a Move out package at first look, but after i did a more in depth walk through after the maid left, I discovered the base of one of the toilets was not cleaned. Only one window/blinds set in the entire house was cleaned. The rear sliding glass door was not cleaned. The faces of all of the cabinets were not cleaned. No high dusting was done at all. The inside of the microwave was cleaned, but not the inside of the door. The inside of the fridge was not cleaned, even though i specifically asked her too. None of the floor boards were detailed. Extremely dissatisfied with the overall cleaning for over $300, with only one of the three bedrooms being cleaned.

I use Geaux maids regularly and have been very happy with their service. So easy to book cleanings and wonderful and professional staff. I strickly use, Alicia, and would recomend you do the same. She is extremely receptive to leaving a list and making your home as clean as she possible can. She has even returned the next week with specific tools and cleaners to work on something she was not completely satisfied with.

OK, so here it goes. I have been divorced for 13 years and I am the typical old school man in many ways, in that when I was married I helped my wife as much as I was able but having worked 6/12s my whole life it was difficult to really learn how to clean and keep up a home. So, my place on the surface was liveable, however, deep down it was a complete total shambles. I havent dusted in 13 years, yeah 13 years. No wonder I have allergies. My bathrooms havent known clean either in that period, disgusting I know but hey on the surface it was barely ok. After a 2 week search I find Geaux Maids and well all I can say is I wish I would have done this years ago. I have a new home and that is no Shinola. Thank you Jessica and Geaux Maids cant wait till next month. A Happy man.
