I had Elie give me a trim. She listen to what I wanted and gave me a great haircut. And it didn’t cost a ton of money.

Y’all I made an appointment for my son to get his haircut and my husband to get his beard groomed. So excited, and in love with our neighborhood, we arrive early. No big deal. We were greeted and offered a beverage. We then proceeded to wait. And we waited well beyond our appointment time with zero communication from the guy we had an appointment with. We let them know we were walking out. Done. And we will never return. It’s a total shame because the location is ideal, the ambiance is cool. But you guys - I guess I expect a certain levelOf customer service and a respect for the people I am serving and their time. Communication would have been nice. A simple “hey guys this is running a little long” would have saved us walking out. And they’ve lost three customers for life.

This barber shop is hidden on the corner of Upperline and Freret. You walk up a staircase into a cozy apartment with a couch, a pool table, and magazines. Complimentary drinks and pool are available while you wait for your haircut or beard trim. The service is skilled, polite, and easygoing. Highly recommend!
