Pat is an awesome barber. I went there for a haircut and ended up bringing my two son’s and a buddy the next day for a shave, my friend got a haircut as well. I highly recommend his shop anytime you are in New Orleans. We will definitely be back next visit!!!

Pat was a real treat. His place is a time capsule. He takes his time and makes you feel like your one of his regulars. I believe his prices are far below the service I received. Very clean and well kept.

It was ok. The cut was fine. Not much personality. Somewhat pricy. I Will say if I was getting a shave Id come here. He spent 45 minutes just to shave the guy in front of me (without warning me how long I would be waiting).

Dirty tools and sliced the heck out of my neck. Got blood all over my shirt.

This is an old fashioned barber shop with a no frills, friendly vibe. The barber was warm and nice to talk to. He cared about my do and took the time to get it right. Recommend this spot for all you travelers needed a trim.

Im visiting from out of town and needed a touch up. I am a female and finding a barber to do my hair is hard. I called and the owner was upfront and very honest with me about doing womans haircuts. based on his honestly I decided to go and I was not disappointed at all! he did and amazing job and asked me if i was happy multiple times during the hair cut. I wish I didnt live out of state because he would be my go-to guy!! hes awesome!

Visiting and needed a little cleanup. This place was within walking distance and had good reviews so I decided to try it. Called and luckily Pat had a cancellation and was able to take me later that day. Described what I wanted and he went to work. Very satisfied with the end result.

I called for an appointment and scheduled one very easily over the phone.after looking at the many reviews I felt I picked the best choice for a hair cut in the quarter.I am so very happy, this haircut is the best one I have had in years. Strait razor finish on all edges and sideburns...totally professional and top class act.Love it!

Stopped in from out of town for a day visit and I thought that whilst Pat was friendly, there was a lot about the experience I didnt like. For example the clippers were still covered in other customers hair !!! So of course when it came time to use them, I had other peoples hair all over me . And at the end of my cut I still had hair on my forehead because he didnt brush it properly, I even had to request that he provide some hair product to style my cut.If you are looking for a buzz cut or no frills hairdressing then this is the place for you, otherwise try elsewhere .

My boyfriend and i were visiting New Orleans for the week. My boyfriend is a barber and owner of a barber shop here in New Jersey. My boyfriend figured since we were on vacation he would like to visit a local barber shop to get cleaned up. When we walked in the barber was sitting down reading the news paper didn’t even get up to greet us. He asked what we needed and my boyfriend then explained that all he wanted was a clean up. The man rudely said “ok well it’s $40”. The amount is ridiculously high, the shop was completely empty so it’s not like he was busy enough to speak to us. Very rude and a let down for a local shop.

Absolutely the best hair cut Ive had in years. I love old school barber shops and this place tops the list. He does what you want not what he thinks you need. Ive had so many stylists who take too much off the top. When I told him I want only a little bit off the top, he did exactly that. Immaculate attention to detail. He used four different clips to do my sides and back...layer by layer. I left the place with mixed emotions though. I was extremely happy with my new look but sad that I will have to drive six hours from Houston to get my next haircut. 😀

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with brother and son-n-law who needed haircuts. Nice small Pops style Barbershop. 5 chairs but runs it as a owner operator barber. Good cuts for the both of them and great friendly general conversation.

Pat has been cutting my hair for nearly a decade. I have lived in FQ, English Turn and Lakeview and he is the best. His services are very reasonably priced. By appointments, which he usually can get you in the same day. Hotel now has reasonable parking price as well.

So I arrived mid afternoon into New Orleans and was staying at the Sheraton. It was around 4pm on a Thursday and I was surprised many barber shops were closed. I called and was told if I arrived before 5 he could cut my hair. Dude has been there 39 years and gave me an old school cut which included straight razor neck shave. Top marks. If you want a cut to start your festivities in NY, see this man!

Good old fashioned barber shop in the heart of the French Quarter

Just moved to New Orleans and tried to get an appointment here for a cut. First spot he had was 8 am on a Saturday, so I took it. Navigating around the French Quarter can be difficult, and when I finally found a place to park and walked to the shop, I got through the door at 8:05. He was already halfway into another haircut and said hed given my spot away and Id have to reschedule. I understand its a business, but just a little disappointing to drive across town and be snubbed like that. Total waste of an hour. Needless to say I wont be rescheduling....

Good ole time barber. He is a cash only business. He was able to work me inbetween appointments. He is very busy.

This man would not cut my hair since Im a woman. I was told tbis by another barber after tbis one tefysec to cut my hair saying he had another appt. Im looking into a lawsuit infringement of civil rights!!
