I’ve been bring my son to get his hair cut at mr.chills for a long . After mr.chills past I started going to Josh I couldn’t imagine having anyone else cutting his hair . I love Josh he cuts very neat and takes his time with my sons hair I never had a problem I’m always pleased with his work .my son loves Josh that’s his friend lol

Couldnt be more unprofessional. Unfortunately, ever since Chill has passed, barbershop has fallen off in countless ways. Love Josh but the other barbers just dont cut it in any way. Hopefully things turn around

Left my lining looking like a polygon for the holidays but at least the fade was nice. Id go to Josh though! Seeing his clients leave the shop, obvious hes popular for a reason. So save your lining (and your dignity) and try to get an appointment with him. Cool, chill and small shop though overall.

Its so hard for me to find a quality hair stylist/barber. my hair isnt the easiest to cut in the first place it has a mind of its own. josh is hands down the best barber ive ever had touch my hair in my 30 years on earth. he takes his time and really and i mean really does everything he can above and beyond to ensure your service and experience with him is just as the shops name is...FIRST CLASS. josh my new friend and barber you have a customer for life!

After older barber acted like I didn’t have an appointment that he made the day before. I left after 15 minutes. The whole 15 minutes the older guy did not say one word. He decided to take a break or go to lunch. Horrible customer service. I will not be going back. I will spend my money else where

YESSSS THEY ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!!!I can not say how much I love Josh at Mr. Chills for hooking me up!!! I JUST LOOOOOVE MY HAIRCUT!!Due to the current Phase 2 reopening mandate, I needed a haircut bad and was afraid that there werent any barbers taking on new clients let alone women. But, I called Josh on Saturday morning and he had me in and out of the chair before noon on the same day.Mr. Chills is a true gentlemans place but lady friendly and there is one chair with Josh at the helm.The vibe is warm and inviting and I had no health concerns since the room/building was up to Phase 1,2,and 3 reopening standards. Plus ladies there is a bathroom that is women friendly that we can actually use, woo hoo!!!Josh was very patient with me. Not a diva, but Im in my 1st stages of going natural with my edges holding at a very fragile state, and Josh worked magic with them. Mr Chill is a piece of New Orleans history AND he can cut your hair with precision. He and Josh are both Class A barbers with excellent customer service. Mr Chill stays late and shows up early if you call him. Everyone should patronize this establishment.

This is by far the best Barber shop experience I have ever had. The shop is extremely clean and professional. I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Chill, the service was prompt my haircut was by far one of the best Ive had since being in New Orleans. The haircut that I got at Mr. Chills was the most entertaining haircut that Ive ever received. The guys in the shop are a lot of fun and do a great job of creating the atmosphere of what youd expect from a traditional barber shop. Very high energy, very enthusiastic, and very funny. Beyond the experience, the haircut was also the best Id ever received. I was only passing through New Orleans, but if Im ever back in town I will be paying a visit to Mr. Chills.

Ive been getting my haircut at Chills almost 10 years and their establishment is one if not the best shop in the city. Chill is not only a great barber but a well established entrepreneur who also has the pulse of our city. Shout out also to Carson & Courtney who are very great barbers in their own right. I am proud to say until I leave this city their is no one I trust more then these guys.

Definitely first class treatment. My usual barber retired for medical reasons and chill stepped right up and on time. They bring a welcoming attitude laid back atmosphere that makes a visit worth while. The quality of my haircut goes without saying. Kimberly Fay is my loving current gf.

Mr. Chills First Class Cuts was a great experience for me. The guys are friendly, and their service lives up to the name. I went in because I needed a cut before a job interview, and I left feeling confident in my appearance.

The workers here are so nice and patient. I have two young brothers with autism and one of the workers cuts their hair, even when they start to become a bit anxious. I dont know what we would do without them.

I had 2 experiences at this barbershop and both were revolting. I recently relocated to NOLA and was in search of a professional barbershop that I could set up bi-weekly appointments with for my gentlemans appearance maintenance. After my first cut I asked to make an appointment for my next cut and the barbers response was you need to come a few more times before we can make you an appointment...WHAT! I chalked it up to a warped business strategy; or shear ignorance. About 2 months later I decided to give this barber another shot. I called and set an appointment and once I arrived the SAME people that wouldnt let me set up a reoccurring appointment after I was already in the establishment had to cancel because the barber had an issue... If you think that making an appointment to cut your hair and you’re a guy and 35$ its a fair price for an average cut, this is definitely the place for you.

Staff was warm, friendly, and funny. It is physically very aesthetically appealing, not trashed with hair like most other shops. Not to mention the haircut had me lookin clean af. Ill definitely be coming back.

Great time and great haircut ! First time here and they were set up outside on the sidewalk to commemorate the aftermath of Katrina. Apparently Mr. Chills old shop in Broadmoor was flooded in Katrina so when the floodwaters receded he cut hair on the sidewalk for 17 months for anyone who neeeded a haircut, whether they could pay or not. So 10 years later, they did the same set up but at the new post-Katrina location. Fox 8 was there filming. Some kind of entertainment !
