Today, Sarah gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. It’s such a gamble getting a new barber, so if you’re looking for someone who has true skill and will give you the exact cut you ask for, book an appointment with Sarah at the Bearded Lady. All the bells and whistles aside (and there are plenty — this is a hip place), it comes down to quality and skill of the barbers, and the Bearded Lady Barbershop has it in the bag. Extremely impressed. Will 100% be back.

Heard an Inappropriate generalized comment from one of the male employees. Kinda rude actually for when you just meet someone. It reflects on him or his culture though not necessarily everyone else there.

Great establishment......They are great, you have to make an appointment tho. Rarely they take walkings. They offer you a complementary drink booze or water. Parking outside is pay to park. Free parking on the side streets. Also there are some great shops around to go shopping while you wait.

Really great ambiance. The waiting area has SNES and a pinball game. Staff are friendly and funny. Beard trim and haircut 30$. Well worth it. I will go back!

Ive been bringing my wife to get her beard trimmed for years. She was furious at first but Nathan and the rest of his staff are very calming. If the woman in your life has a facial hair problem this is the place.

I made an appointment because the shop is less than a block from my house, so very convenient. I didnt know what to expect. However, Sarah is fantastic. She listened, then delivered exactly what I asked for, then included a neck shave. My whole experience was fantastic. I am going back for the third time in about two weeks. Overall, a great barbershop.

I was part of a wedding party and all of the guys stoped in to get our beards trimmed and a shave befor the wedding!! We all loved it cool place to get a cut and a trim!!

Brought my 12 year old son who was dying to get his haircut after being quarantined for months. He has the greatest fade cut now and looks adorable with his new short hair. A sweet man cut his hair and was so very nice to my son. Thank you!!

Its a good place. Dallas, the hairdresser, does not really use much else besides his scissors. So youll get a great cut as long as youre not looking for something super fancy. At $50, it is a little pricey, however, which does add up considering monthly visits.

First time here. Great decor with magazines TV and an SNES to pass the time while you wait. Local spot run by Nate and his wife. He was super nice and knew exactly what I wanted. Best 30 bucks I ever spent on a cut

Nathan is my barber here. He cuts my hair exactly how i want every single time. Ive been going to him for over a year now and hes the only barber that ive had for this long. Place has an awesome vibe. Rest of the staff is super cool.

I had a head shave and beard trim from Nate. He is as good as you will find. The shave was so relaxing and his communication skills are excellent. This was my first time in his shop and definitely not my last. The shop also has a great vibe with complimentary beer or bourbon.

My son and I have both had great cuts from them, and our hair couldnt be more different. I have thinning, grey, straight hair. While my son has a thick, tight curled, course hair. Both of us have had wonderful cuts. My son is on the spectrum, and they have patiently accommodated him.

Its not the customers fault . You call to try and request the services offered and you might be responded by a very arrogent and shallow individual . Some people apparently have no clue that there are more than barber shops that are in jeopardy in this city ! Whoever answers there phone should be retrained and if it is the owner they have more trouble than they realize !

Moved to New Orleans September 2017 and finally decided to try to find a barber that knows how to tame a curly mop. This was the first time in many years Ive actually gone to a local barber for a specialized cut instead of a chain for just a #4 and 6 buzz cut. If this sounds like you, do yourself a favor and make an appointment here. They really take the time to study the way your hair behaves and how best to cut it. The decor is great as well and really makes you feel comfortable. They also offer a variety of beer and bourbon to sip on while they work on your hair! I could not be happier with my experience and will definitely be a returning customer!

Some places too hip or pretentious for their own good, this is one of them. Walk into an entirely empty shop, bored appearing stylist, I have a simple mens cut easily 5-7 minutes for a decent barber but was denied service because they were booked out for the day... I look around and make sure I am not missing something... nope, walk around for 15 minutes to some neighboring shops- still a ghost town. Save yourself the trouble.
