Best barbershop in NOLA. Friendly staff, complimentary drink from their bar while you wait or while getting your haircut, and hot towel over your face while getting your hair washed. Theresa is the best in the business! She always makes sure my hair and beard are on point. I’ve referred multiple people to her that still continue to go to her because like I said...BEST. IN. THE. BUSINESS.

Traveling in our RV we occasionally need to find a barbershop were not familiar with. Lakeview Barber Shop is one Im going to bookmark. Nice friendly atmosphere, including a beverage while you wait or get your cut. Kari did an excellent job of listening and performing a perfect cut for me.

Been going to Lakeview Barber for 2 years now. Best place in Nola. It is appointment only and while my favorite is Jamie, all the girls I have cut my hair have done a good job. Good price for a great haircut and shampoo and those hot towels they put on your face are worth the price alone.

Theresa knows her way around some clippers but you should see her scissor over comb.

Dani did an awesome job! Definitely the best haircut Ive ever received. Dani takes her time and then teaches her clients how to manage their hair based on the direction it grows. Will definitely be returning to Lakeview Barbershop!

Very cute place! Spacious & clean with a full bar ! Also there were peppermint towels during shampoo.Dani cut my hair and as always, did a great job and gave me direction on how to keep up with the style. 10/10 highly recommend a visit to see her!

I love Hannah!! Lets face it, Id follow her anywhere. Jamies cool, too. Matter of fact, everyone who works here is great. Other reviewers are correct, there is always entertaining conversation and drinks offered. This is an upscale shop at a reasonable price, providing high quality cuts and shaves with no judginess. I am a happy regular.

Edit: Owner asked for more feedback in exchange for a free haircut. So here it goes. It wasnt the best or worst haircut Ive ever had, the customer service was neither bad nor amazing, the hairdresser was neither unfriendly nor super nice. It was all pretty middle of the road. So I gave it 3 out of 5. Im perhaps a harsher reviewer online than others. I dont give out a ton of 5s unless Im truly impressed. Appreciate the offer of a free haircut. At the same time it might be pretty awkward to come back in with the employees knowing Im getting a free haircut because I complained online.

I needed to find a new place to get my hair cut, and I wanted to go somewhere closer to home. This has quickly become our favorite place to go. My sons and I are regular customers now.

Was looking to drop in for quick haircut but this business only accepts by appointment. I didnt mind paying extra for squeezing 20-30 mins into someones schedule. This is better for the local population that are more familiar with the area. Wish they had a sign that said no walk-ins

Very nice place, was a walk-in1 hour til closing, 3 stylist there 2 were cutting hair, then i was next, my stylist was not happy to be cutting my hair, made sure that I knew it, and told me how lucky I was that I could be squeezed in, I was the only one getting my hair cut until I was leaving and 1 other person came in. My haircut was good, just wish customer service would have been better.

Jamie has cut my sons hair since his first haircut, she is AWESOME! His hair is adorable and she always does a great job.

Great Barbershop - It is easy to schedule an appointment. They do a great job, and the shop is always very clean/well-kept. The best option in New Orleans.

I have gone here a couple times, and Theresa has cut my hair. She’s a very friendly person and cuts the hairs on my noggin like an expert. I’m convinced that they can cut anyone’s hair and give them a new level of confidence. The rest of the staff is great too. I’m moving away, and I will be very sad to not go here anymore.

Pretty much need to get an appointment to be seen here unless you show up on a super slow day. You get what you pay for here, its not a Great Clips.

My wife booked me an appointment here and it was towards the end of the day (4:30pm) and the lady who did my hair continuously made rude comments throughout my hair cut about how quickly she was trying to get out of there and go home- which was also very apparent in the hair cut that she gave me bc it looked choppy and rushed, she did a terrible fade and I had to go to someone within that week to get it evened out. Im sure they have some hairdressers there that are good at what they do but in my experience I was not happy with their service and I would not return.

Nice atmosphere, good haircut, very relaxing. If you want to treat your dad or husband to something nice, this would be a nice gift.

Very poor customer service. I scheduled a hair appointment online and got held up in a client meeting so I called 15 minutes prior to the appointment to notify them I would be a few minutes late. The receptionist said I needed to be there within 10 minutes after my appointment time or the appointment would be cancelled. It was a little rude and rigid, but to some degree I understood the need to keep to a schedule. However, I was literally pulling into the parking lot at the 10 minute mark, when I got a call from the receptionist that the appointment had been cancelled. Apparently, by her watch I was 12 minutes late (heaven forbid) and she didnt care that I was right outside. Customers/clients are late in every profession; as a business you have to do your best to accommodate them and not abruptly cancel the appointment your customer has driven across town to make after calling ahead to let you know they would be late. Will not return.

The only place in Nola, you can trust a woman with sharp objects. 👍🏼👌🏼. Jk. Great service, and amazing haircuts. 😉

Used to be $25 plus gratuity for a haircut and easy to make an appointment, prices have increased to $40 plus and they want your credit card information to book an appointment, no thanks

My hair wasnt cut like I generally like it (I asked for a 3 on the buzzer and she cut my hair with a 2). I felt like she was trying to get me out of there in a hurry. Now I am out the cost of the haircut plus the cost of a buying a baseball cap that I can wear for the next 3 months till my hair grows back.
