The Mayfair Apartments Are Truly Not Worth What The Claim To Be. Looks Can Be Very Deceiving. Like Many Other Occupants Have Stated, There Is A Roof Leakage Problem. We Been Having The Same Roof Leak Since September 2020, They Came In And Just Covered It Up&Repaint. Where This Caused A Severe Mold Problem That We Couldn’t See At First, But The Smell Is Overpowering. NOW It’s Like The Mold Is Coming Out Of The Walls To The Ground. Work Order Has Been Put In And They Have Yet Address The Problem. If They Put As Much Care Into The Units Like They Do For The Pool, Then Maybe Ratings Could Be Better. Please Be Aware The Mold Issue Is Something Serious! 10/10 Would Not Recommend To Lease Here.

This is the absolute worst complex I’ve ever lived in. The staff is the worst. I’ve been complaining about my leaking roof my since December 2020. It is now august 1, 2021 the problem has gotten extremely worse. This is the atrocity I have to look at everyday because no one cares enough to even try to get it fixed. I was even told that I would be moved into another unit, that was 2 months ago. No one ever followed up or even reached out to me. I’ve put in so many work orders that I don’t even bother putting them in anymore because nothing will be done. Other residents have told me they have the same issues with mold and leaking. You can’t ever reach the property managers or the people over the property managers. On top of that, I’ve developed respiratory issues because of the MOLD. My doctor suggested that I get a lawyer involved. PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I love the quick response and renovation. I am also glad, they are eliminating section 8, it brings the property down. When you are coming from somewhere, outside, Louisiana, you wanna enjoy New Orleans, without that craziness. Being aroung folk, that wanna work and go to school, beats free rent and food any day. The environment, tends to be safer, quieter, and cleaner. I am relocating here, to attend Tulane University, and I am looking forward, to applying to lease.

I been trying to reach Upper management outside of Bethany who has done all she can do to accommodate me and my consistent issues but unfortunately she can only do so much. I moved in the mayfair about three years ago i must say my first year was a better experience. I transferred to a three bedroom townhouse about a year Ago since then everthing about the Mayfair has gone downhill. I have placed in multiple work orders for my Roof Leaks since the day I transferred, which if you are reading thats been about a year ago now. Till this day i stall have a white bucket under my ceiling in my master bedroom. The damage to the ceiling still exits for a year now which has also show signs of Mold. Nevertheless for the last two months i have been having a mice infestation to my home. I went out my self and purchased a quantity of 10 tomcat traps for mice and 8 sound barriers thats supposed to detour mice and rodents. This morning i was awakened to a loud smacking popping noise which happened to be mice #10 caught in my home in the last two months. I have became extremely uncomfortable with my home and this property. Not to mention they take our trash from our trash cans and throw the leaking trash on the surrounding grounds leave it there for hours if not days obstructing our parking spots and creating a huge liability inviting black hawk looking birds to poke the bags and allow the waste from surrounding trash cans to marinate in front your home. With that being said our homes are invaded with flys everytime someone opens the door to walk in. At this time i deem my home inhabitable and would like immediate attention to this matter. i live at 4235 maple leaf and i want to be contacted TODAY. Nevertheless Covid-19 is at a all time high and if the media was aware of the non sanitized behaviors and infected rodents being forced on residents at the Mayfair this would not sit too well. CALL ME TODAY or im posting on Instagram with photos of the dead mice i have caught in my apartment and other videos i have taken of all the other Concerning issues at the Mayfair Apartments on Maple leaf dr. NO ONE DESERVES THIS AND IM SEEING OTHER REVIEWS WITH NEIGHBORS WITHT THE SAME ISSUES. CALL ME TODAY OR IM CALLING 6 ON YOUR SIDE.

Illegal adjustments to leases with out tenants signature, mold in our apartment, attitude and playing stupid from the front desk and ADA violations all over, they refuse to pick up because they have caller ID. Crime ridden including tenants, noisy. They fire anyone that actually cares about the tenants we have had to find a lawyer. Jeffery and Mr Terry are the only people that show they care. They really need tobput Jeffery in charge. Alesha(spelling) and Bethany are a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Hi just want to say I am very pleased with living here at the Mayfair apartments!! Whenever I call about any issues they are resolved asp! Very nice staff an Mr.Terry is the best🙂

The manager and staff here are horrible. Please find elsewhere to stay. The only people who were willingly to help with anything were Jefferey and Jaylin. They don’t care about the resident’s problems and they don’t resolve any of them. They want to continue to add people back here with no parking spaces to accommodate their vehicles...placing people in apartments knowing certain ones flood when it rains ....always have an attitude and cheat during contests .......they don’t care!

Ive been a resident here at The Mayfair Apartment Homes since February and must say it is a wonderful place to call home. The office staff, management, maintenance, & etc are professional and pride themselves at making my living experience here a good one. The minor issues Ive had were handled in a timely manner and that means alot. The property itself is appealing to the eye and their steady beautifying the property. If your looking for a safe, clean, beautiful property, look no further The Mayfair is where you wanna be.

Dont let the exterior and the nice looking pool fool you. The Mayfair is poorly managed. The maintenance crew runs the gambit of stealing food out of your house to leaving it unlocked. And when they do fix something right there is a long wait. To add insult to injury is the rent increase in a pandemic. However, the Mayfair is super dog friendly. In fact, many of the residents allow their dogs to poop wherever they want and they simply leave it there.

Towards the ending of my lease, Mr. Jeffery Blackmore, was the most pleasant and HONEST person working at Mayfair. He always had the best intentions as well. While my stay was not so great, he helped me with a lot during my moving out process.

I’m a current resident living here and I would not recommend leasing here. The maintenance staff has to be the worst. I moved into one of the Renovated units and its clear that the renovations were rushed as there have been quite a few problems since I moved in. The walls are thin, the home has mold, (no one came to check), and the office staff is horrible. I reported several issues and I only get brushed off. I regret selecting the Mayfair as my home and I will escalate the issue to O’Brien Realty Group. This is the corporate/management company.

Called to receive leasing information and someone by the name of Michelle answered who was EXTREMELY rude. She kept shouting there was nothing available instead of simply answering my questions. I would encourage the Management Company to have the property shopped and institute Customer Service training from the employees. Michelle is a Fair Housing suit waiting to happen!

The Mayfair Apartments are beautiful! The fitness center is really clean and has a great variety of workout equipment! They also have a brand new pool and a huge playground. I was also told theyd be constructing a dog park. My dog Milo will be very excited about that ! I recently had the pleasure of touring The Mayfair Apartments with Alayshia. She was very nice and informative! She assured me that The Mayfair would be perfect for me. I plan on relocating to New Orleans in a few months for work. Thanks to Alayshia I am looking forward to calling The Mayfair Apartments my new home.

This is a wonderful place to live. The staff is always helpful. The recent upgrades are superb. Customer Service by Jalen is always above and beyond. The management and Orrin are dedicated to giving back to the community and making this a wonderful place to live. I recommend touring the property and consider moving in. You will not be disappointed.

Do not move in until you have checked EVERYTHING and you are satisfied with apartment. The workmanship was a little sloppy. Example, sheet rock work and painting could have been better. Still waiting for a repair prior to moving in that an outside contract has to repair,after 6 months. The staff is rather professional and appear to want to help resolve complaints. Area is quiet and there are activities available. Maintenance response are between 4 to 8 days.

I was searching for months for a spacious, safe, affordable and clean community for me and my son and that’s exactly what I found at The Mayfair Apartment Homes. I would like to shout out Krystal and Tiffany for being so polite, kind, and informative. As I was waiting for the apartment to be available Krystal was quick to attend to any questions that arise. The office staff overall was extremely accommodating and friendly also. The Phase ll Homes are brand new and stunning on the inside. The location is great. I’m so happy to call this place home! It could not be better located ...a lot of shopping, restaurants,and schools are nearby .It offers amenities that most communities did not. This is a beautiful neighborhood and I’m extremely excited about the splash park and new pool coming soon!

Its been more than 25 days and still nothing.They got paid and thats all that matters.NOT RECOMMENDED!

I am currently living here and there is a crack in my roof that is leaking and mold has started to grown there too because of the rain. I have been a resident here since Dec 2017. I’ve had this crack since 2018. I’ve reached out to management and the first response was to put a trash can underneath it, the second was to send someone out to look at it and that was last fall and nothing has happened since. I like the apartment but clearly there needs to be better management of the property. My roof still has a crack and still has mold.

I was looking for a place for my children and I to live and this place is amazing. Ive had financial issues and more and from what Ive heard, seen, and experienced Mayfair is TRULY one of the BEST AND MOST AFFORDABLE living arrangements. MORE THAN worth the price. They are steadily improving and glad that I was able to move here! Being prior military they also make you feel appreciated. Love living here and so do my girls!!!

The Mayfair apartments is by far one of the best places on the West Bank to live. I’ve been here for 5 months and everything from the quality of life to just simply comfort is amazing here. The apartments are clean and comfortable, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the neighborhood is clean, quiet, safe, and a delight to look at and be in. With some new additions coming soon I haven’t a doubt this is the place to be if your looking for a apartment. The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful, very active and productive. From the time I walked checked it out to after moving in Jalen has stands out the most to me. He’s always very active in knowing who’s who and making sure my office visits are quick, precise, and friendly. Big Shout out to Jalen. Having you on our office staff is definitely a benefit! Thank you!

Better than the average apartments in New Orleans. Prices are very competitive considering all the amenities. Made great improvements since I moved there in 2006. A little disappointed that they are completely eliminating section 8 from there tenant list. Many are not problem tenants just like many who dont receive the subsidy are not always model tenants. Still, I understand their rational behind the move particularly if theyre trying to attract a different demo but hope theyd rethink it and just do a better job screening. Will recommend Mayfair to my working friends to give them a look.

These apartment are amazing. When I first inquired about these apartments I called. I was connected to Jalen who walked me through the whole process. I told him that I usually get off late and probably wouldn’t be able to meet him before they closed. He assured me that he would wait until I got off to help me with the process of choosing a apartment. When I went in to the leasing office I was greeted with smiles and a tranquility atmosphere. These apartments are safe, spacious, and quiet. I love it here thank you Jalen!

My Husband and I recently relocated to New Orleans a week ago. Since we are new to the area safety is everything to us. The Mayfair offers so many safety features in their apartments giving us some peace of mind, and with all the new renovations and projects there planning it gives you an idea for the type of atmosphere they want/have. Kristal was amazing she greeted and helped us even though it was past her work day, two days after we came back in sign paperwork. We were told the apartment wasn’t quite ready yet, but maintenance got the ball rolling and we’re able to fix the slight hiccup. I’m so happy to have found such a great place for my small family!!

So happy I stumbled upon this place! I fell in love with it instantly. Raven is awesome and very professional. A safe and quiet community for me and my kids.

These newly renovated apartments are beautiful and extremely spacious. OMG Krystal is the Best! The property is also pet friendly. This was a plus for me. My cat and family loves this place. My granddaughter look forward to visiting the Leasing Office for daily treats like cookies and movie theater popcorn. A great place to call home.

Looking for an apartment in Algiers New Orleans.I found this place that is supposed to have great prices and be family friendly. Everything was looking ok until I actually visited the office;Staff is very vain and unhelpful I also heard 2 tenants complaining about maintenance issues that werent being addressed for weeks. spoke to some random tenants that told me not to rent from this complex.Apparently they are NOT HAPPY.BTW pictures look NOTHING like reality:/AND there is no pool.

I Loved Everything I saw On The Internet About Mayfair Apartments. Went In To see Them, It Was Exactly The Same! For The Pricing The Area Inside And Out (Worth It) Although, The Floorplan We Wanted wasn’t Available The CALVIN ! Which I feel is The Best And What I Was Looking For But Others Are And Is Great As Well. We Were Told They were Adding Much More This Year. I Would Recommend Mayfair To Anyone Single Or With family! Krystal, was professional in every aspects. The fitness center is currently being built. The townhouse was perfect. The quality appears to be 4 out 5 stars. The only thing I would have preferred would assigned parking because the parking area was full of water.

I have been assisted by Jalen Williams! He was sooooo amazing me and my family was in a messed up situation and Jalen really have helped us out and made everything come together. I moved in at around December 20, 2018. I was told that 2 handicap spots would be put in the parking lot. Today is March 21,2018 and still no handicap spots anywhere in the parking area. I am currently trying to get someone out to fine the owners because each parking lot should have at least 2 handicap spots I was told.The few months that I have lived there we have had to kill about 13 spiders. My neighbors said they have been seeing a lot of spiders themselves. I called the office and they said that Friday someone would be out to spray. Nobody came that Friday. I called the office again and the manager apologized for the spray guy missing me. The manager said the spray guy comes every two weeks so give him two week. They finally came....Once they but a note on my door saying my rent was not paid. When I went to office with my email from my bank showing a copy of my check, which they had cash...the manager said he made a mistake and he was sorry.Long story short ....They dont stand by their word.AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR LEASE.....BEFORE YOU SIGN.I ASK FOR A 12 MONTH LEASE...........THEY DID MY LEASE FOR 18 MONTHS...I didnt catch it.....WATCH CLOSELY

STY AWAY... long but WORTH THE READ!!!! Krystle was very nice at the BEGINNING process... however that quickly changed. We were VERBALLY PROMISED the Bruno but ended up getting the older apt that wasn’t renovated. (1st problem). We moved here from out of state and every time I talked to Krystle, she did not remember, and so would try to tell me to move in that day, KNOWING for the 82628th time we were OUT OF STATE. Felt like we were just another number to add on to her commission (2nd problem). We had to wait OVER A WEEK to get our mail key. ALL the other places I ever rented from, the staff were on top of things for the day of move-in. I had to call and remind this office a few days in a row (3rd problem). After we signed our name on the lease, Krystle completely changed her demeanor with me. For example: I went to the front to ask about a package to see if it was in the office and her questioning me about not looking (front,back,side of my apt) was in a rude tone, like she didn’t have time for me ( it was about 4:30 pm). (4th problem). The “amenities” listed online are a JOKE. THEIR ARE CURRENTLY NO AMENITIES available to residents. No pool to swim in, no business office to do your business, no fitness center to workout. Their website is MISLEADING to future tenants 110%. This drives me crazy because EVERYTHING we liked about this place while searching, we did not get to get... even though we were PROMISED BY KRYSTLE that we would get the “Bruno” Newly -renovated apt, HA, YEA RIGHT. (5th problem). The last and worst thing in our opinion are the LOUD, pot smoking, apparently nocturnal, inconsiderate neighbors. I have sent in multiple (3 online and 1 phone call) noise complaints thus far and I’m sure it will not be our last. (6th problem).

I was a bit skeptical about moving here at first but I truly love it now. The upgrades in amenities and the pleasant staff make it easy to call this place home.

I’ve been a resident for just about two years now and they are really making good changes to the property. I can’t wait to see the finishing results.

We have mold. We initially submitted a maintenance request through the app because no staff has been in front office for weeks. Talk to maintenance man he said they were doing inspections. “Inspection” completed no details given on what would be done or what damage was found. Called front office about the mold again they expect rent to be paid when apartment isn’t livable. We also asked for a mold test or air quality test be performed. When we spoke to front desk today she said there is no maintenance on staff right now. How are repairs being made if there’s no maintenance? They give you the run around when it’s time to fix things!

The complex has the worst service we have ever received.The rent is received, but when you need something from them it is impossible to receive a good service.They have a very bad treatment with their tenants.They promise things and dont keep them.I definitely do not recommend renting in this complex
