The place is a bit cozy but you are able to get a quick wash and dry laundry experience at an affordable price. Staff was friendly and attentive to there customers. Not a stranger to a speed queen experience. If you are looking for a helping hand in your laundry management they dont mind helping out. What... work.

Clean, new machines, reasonable prices for self-washing, convenient ATM. Would be 5 stars if they enforced the COVID-19 guidance thats posted on their door. Big issue is that at least one of the employees doesnt wear a mask and Im not sure what the ventilation is like inside, and over the past few weeks, Ive seen others doing contract work for the facility who are also not wearing masks and laundromat users who either dont wear masks or who have the masks under their chin and are eating. Its stressful, especially with cases as high as they are in the city.

I took 10lb of laundry for wash and fold. The old lady that I assume is the owner tried to charge me for 25lb till I called her out. She then went into a mode where she pretended she couldnt speak or understand well. She lost a potential long term customer for a stupid scam

I went in and requested to have my clothes dry on low heat. The guy in response “ I’ll try, this would be expensive for us, you know what I mean”? In response, “no, I don’t understand because any wash and fold establishment I have made a request of low heat with no issues”. He wrote on the receipt low heat. To my surprise, it’s clear that the clothes dried on high, this is terrible experience for coming there for the first time. Keep in mind that word of mouth speak volumes.

Best wash and fold service in East Rock area. They (Willow Street) dont use strong smelling products like other nearby places that overdo it on fabric softener or dryer sheets. Our laundry always comes back perfectly clean and with a very subtle fresh scent.

1st time using and wont be back. Park St. location. As I walked down the aisle there was a distinct marijuana stench. Washing is done in COLD water only and the load I wanted to use bleach in is restricted to @ an 1/8 of a cup. WAY WAY over priced for cold water!! Thankfully, I have a dryer at home. $14.75 to use 1 large machine and 1 small machine. The place is NOT clean as described and the TV blares out this Spanish station. It was almost 90 degrees out and there is NO AIR CONDITIONING! Ceiling fans on low even!!

Its a pretty average laundromat experience. The employees are really nice. Wifi is definitely sufficient to meet your basic needs. The washers are older, and thus you need to manually add your detergent twice for the optimal wash. My advice: start the first load and time the cycle for adding the second round is detergent. Wash cycles are 30 minutes and cost $2.75/load. Expect 30 minutes for cotton loads on high heat. I actually enjoy the laundry debit card because it eliminates the need to find change. Ive never used the dry cleaning services but will soon. Sometimes you can run into some very strange people (other customers) there, so dont leave your belongings unattended.

Quality experience

The male attendant this morning was very rude to clients. He was smoking in the doorway, and an elderly woman inside let him know that the smoke and smell were going inside the business (and getting on the clothes). He criticized her and said she was just complaining and told her flat out that if she didnt like it, she could go somewhere else. Its a convenient place, but no one should be treated that way for asking the employee nicely to smoke somewhere else when its affecting people inside.

I loved going here when I lived in East Rock. Its a little grimy but their huge, industrial-size dryers make it so easy to do several weeks of laundry in a few weeks.

Total rip off. You must put money on a card to use the machines. I believe the card is $2....the lady did not inform me of this and the machine was in Spanish. Then it charges you to reload the card and wouldnt take quarters so I got another charge to use the ATM. Im not sure if you are able to get refunded your change once you are finished. I plan on leaving the card and cutting my losses. Never returning. Also dirty, crowded, and only a third of the machines functioned.

This laundromat has nice big machines that worked well and cleaned my laundry. Nothing fancy but nothing to complain about.

My clothes came back damaged after dry cleaning. Don’t go this place. They won’t take any responsibilities.

Its been a while since the last time I had to use a laundromat, but AFAIK the prices here are terrible, especially considering the low quality. LED displays on a lot of their equipment are broken, meaning you dont know how much money youre spending until after youve spent it. Their card system is terrible, and Im sure they profit immensely from unused credits on lost or damaged cards.

People are so ignorant, the money card is 2 dollars and when your done with it you can then RETURN the card to get your 2 dollars back, and no it dosnt cost a cent or more to reload your card thats hohha. Also nothing is spanish but just some employees who happen to be BILINGUAL and there does happen to be a very diverse community down the block called FAIR HAVEN so having someone bilingual is essential. Please dont listen to the angry reviewer… this is a very quiet chill place.
