They seem to do a good job on other things but I would not recommend them for window tint. All 5 windows and my windshield brow had tiny pinhole bubbles all over. I called 3 days later and 2 weeks later to tell them and they kept telling me to “wait a couple weeks for them to disappear”. We could tell this was a problem in application and they were not going to just disappear so instead of waiting for them to fix their mistake I went ahead and took my car somewhere else to have it all redone.

Ordered $250 neoprene seat covers. Special order. The seat covers covered up all the controls on my electric control panel on the left side of my drivers seat. Am very disappointed in the workmanship of this place. And the entire seat was not neoprene

Even with my husbands truck causing so many problems they were great at communicating, being honest, and working as fast as they could go. It took 3 days longer than anticipated because the previous owner of our truck really messed up the wiring but they still did an amazing job and worked everything out, making our truck better than ever! Great customer service, I would recommend them to any one of my friends.

I took my jeep to the Gear Stop to get heated seats installed for my Jeep Wrangler. The seats are working fine but the installation is the worst quality I’ve ever seen in an aftermarket install. The Tech had a know it all lazy attitude and it truly shows on the installation quality. After I got in the jeep upon his job completion, I first noticed the 12-volt outlet cover was broken so I addressed it and the tech denied breaking it. Gear Stop did say they would order me a new one, but I would have to come back. Keep in mind I live in San Antonio, so it is somewhat of a drive to get there but OK what can you do? So next, the seats had to be taken out for the installation of the heating elements and the floor carpeting had to be removed to run the wiring. This is apparent because my carpet is now loose and has gaps all around the seams of the floorboards and at the center dash panel where the carpeting meets the plastic and on the metal seat brackets. This looks Bad! I know this is a Jeep but still… It’s not the way I brought it to them, and it never got fixed! So, I waited about two weeks until the part for the 12-volt outlet came in and I had to frequently call and remind Gear Stop and keep checking on my order. When the part came in, I tried to address the carpet issue with the same installer. His attitude about the situation was poor and he did nothing to fix the situation. I now have loose and exposed carpeting seams on the floorboard and around the center console and at the seat brackets. Then when I got home, I noticed the installer left a trim panel in the back seat and forgot to put it back on! Really…….???The only good thing I can say about The Gear Stop is Cassandra. She will at least make an effort to help you. The rest of their staff at the front desk have poor attitudes and talk about people behind their backs! I noticed this while I was waiting during the install. So, in short if you want poor service and bad quality on aftermarket installation you may want to avoid “Stopping” here!

I learned not to trust Gear Stop. When I bought my truck from Bluebonnet I had them install a leveling kit and set of custom tires. Before I made the decision I asked how much the center covers cost since they are easy to remove and I was quoted $15. One cover broke at the car wash so I went by Gear Stop to get a replacement and was told they cost $50 ($10 shipping included in the price which was their explanation for the difference between $15 and $50). I did a quick search on Amazon and found one from the manufacturer for $20 (free shipping). Lost trust in these guys, never going back there again.

The Gear Stop accessory store in New Braunfels is by far the best truck accessory shop I have ever dealt with! It was the one stop shop for everything I needed and right next to Bluebonnet Ford where we purchased a new truck. This accessory shop installed a leveling kit with tire and wheel package, tonneau cover, window tint, and wheel well liner. All these products were premium but at a very reasonable price and were installed in literally half a day!!!

I had a great experience with them doing a great tint job and it was quick, I had just bought a new F150 next door and they took me right in at the end of the day.

My truck had a tire blow out right as I was about to pass their shop, I pulled in and they helped me change out my tire on the spot and even made sure there was enough air in my spare. Saved me big time. Thank you so much!!

I was over shopping around for prices on a new leveling kit for my Dodge and Travis really helped me out getting prices on that one item and then he went above and beyond what I expected and gave me more ideas to really make my truck look bad ass. When I get more money I will definitely be going back and having him get all those things done to my truck. Look forward to working with Gear stop again.
