I received a quote for an AC repair 3 months ago. Discouraged by the cost of repairs I decided to hold out and drive around with no AC. Motivated by the Texas heat, I decided to call around to local businesses hoping for an affordable quote. Already knowing what the issue was and the part needed to repair my AC, every business I called still wanted me to schedule an appointment. I made a final call toTotal Automative Repair. The owner Bobby was able to provide me a quote over the phone and asked if I could bring in my car right away. I was impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, confidence and sense of urgency. My AC was fixed during my lunch hour and I was driving out of the shop a satisfied customer.

NOTHING, but great things to say about this place! I was skeptical about these other places I had gotten my vehicle checked out with their quotes that same day & suddenly I found this place online. I decided to call and Bobby said just bring it on in and let me take a look at your A/C and we would go from there. I Had a list from another mechanic shop that wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars more for a/c repair & would 2-3 days long to fix. I came here instead and the owner Bobby took such great care of my vehicle and broke down everything in terms of cost and what they would be working on.I couldn’t believe they took me in so quick and the owner said we can get this done today a/c compressor, condenser & the whole works! It was done in just a few short hours! A/C is now working in perfect condition!So thankful that God lead me to this place. It was truly blessing!I will only be taking my car here from now on. I replaced the A/C condenser in my Dodge Durango and needed the A/C system recharged. I called Total Automotive Repair LLC and Bob the owner answered the phone. I told him what I needed and was told to bring it right in. I showed up about 15 minutes later, pulled the car right in and the hooked up the machine to my car and about 45 minutes later I was on my way. I was charged a more than reasonable price compared to other automotive services in the area. Bob Cassidy and Total Automotive Repair LLC has just earned a new repeat customer.

We needed some quick maintenance done on my sons Honda Accord. The guys were able to set an appointment for Saturday (theyre usually not open on weekends) and were prompt and professional.Unfortunately when we arrived home we noticed a crack in the windshield, and discovered a wrench had slipped down the open hood, tapped the windshield and was still lodged just under the hood. It was an honest mistake.I went to talk to the owner and he immediately recognized the wrench as his own, and without any discussion made arrangements to replace the windshield. Frankly I was amazed, because you seldom see this kind of honest professionalism these days.I will always take my vehicles here from now on.5 Stars isnt enough for these guys!

Took my truck in that was overheating with increased RPMs only. They quickly/correctly diagnosed the problem and had my truck in work the same day! Very friendly and courteous people. Highly recommend!

Bobby is a fair, honest & true to his word individual. He replaced the transmission (rebuilt swap with 3rd party company) in my Yukon & did a fantastic job & got it done in just a few day. I got a 12 month warranty with it also. 7 months or so later it was messing up. I took it back, he honored the warranty & I had it back in 2 days....no questions asked. Later I took him my daughters car to fix the AC. He diagnosed it, repaired it & had it back to me in ONE day....thats just unheard of. Bobby, Mario, Jason & the rest of the shop do great work & I highly recommend this place!!!

Bobby and his team saved the day. They were able to take care of my car quickly and at half the price the dealership quoted me. They also made sure I was in and out in time to pick up my kids.While I was there I told Bobby about losing my key for my second vehicle and he provided me with resources on the spot to get a key replacement that day as well.I’m already scheduled for my next service. This place is hands down, one of the best repair shops that I’ve been to... Bobby and the guys always provide quality work, excellent customer service and show the willingness to help out in anyway they can. I had an intermittent issue with my ac that had been giving me trouble for some time. They were able to diagnose and repair the issue quickly and now my ac is blowing snowballs! Expect communication, reasonable prices and honesty here. Highly recommending them to all my friends and family.

Had an AWESOME experience with Total Auto Repair. I had two sensors on my dash that I wanted to get a diagnostic applied to. I had called the cars dealer, got an appointment, took my car over and left it ALL day for them to do absolutely nothing! I stopped by the local Auto Zone and Stephen recommended going to Total Automotive Repair. It was getting close to 5:00 but I stopped to say that I could bring it back to them tomorrow, if they could fit me in for a diagnostic. Mario said, Oh my no, I can help you right now. He quoted me the price, (which was much cheaper than the dealer would have charged me) and in less than 10 minutes, Mario had found the issues, told me what they were and had them fixed. I took several of their cards and have already told several people at work how wonderful these guys treated me and my issues. I will be back again in the future if I have any problems with my car. I had a check engine light pop up, but with my work schedule (health care) I was finding it near impossible to resolve the issue. Bobby was a lifesaver repairing the issue on Christmas Eve. The a/c condensor and motor mounts were supposedly replaced. The same code came up a few months later. I took it somewhere else for a second opinion, they told me the same things needed to be replaced but insurance wouldnt cover it twice. I took it back to total automotive and they looked at me like i was crazy n didnt look at the jeep n when they did, tried to charge me 200$ for a battery. I doubt they have any legit licenses. Total Automotive llc Ripped me off and my insurance company as well.

DONT use this place the owner has really bad road rage and is very angry the guy ran me off the road and tried hitting me with a chain then threw it at my truck and dented it all up

Im not sure why, but its somewhat difficult to find a good auto repair shop. At least, that was my experience until now. These guys were great! Friendly, very professional service, and a great job at a fair price. If you are in search of a place to go that you can trust, in my opinion, look no further!

Had a great experience yesterday. Our SUV was making a strange noise. We found a spot to park and were quickly met and assisted, and our issue was immediately identified.We were done in 15 minutes.I definitely recommend them, we will be back.

Breaking my head for several weeks on a horn issue. Stopped by to get some advice and they did better than that they fixed it with a smile charged me nothing. So i took my truck to Automotive Repair thinking that my air conditioner was going to be way expensive to get fixed, and in some cases it is, and i met Bobby, he was so down to earth and he connected his cool machine to my truck and tested my a/c for freon levels and for leaks and all it was, was just a schrader valve that needed to be replaced and needed to be re charged in under 1 hour, my a/c will freeze your butt off again, Lol, i was impressed and very affordable ! i do recommend Automotive Repair !

Definitely worth a stop. Very knowledgeable and professional. Great people to work with! Fixed up several issues with my Lexus, including fan, engine, and computer issues. They know MULTIPLE vehicles inside and out. They also support veterans and active duty! Saw them for some car issues before I had to PCS.

Total automotive repair went above and beyond for me. On a Friday afternoon I pulled into the shop cause my AC went out with only minutes to spare before 5pm. Bobby and his team found the problem and searched for the part with it being a holiday weekend (and now way after 5pm) he was able to get me in the next morning and quickly fixed the problem. I don’t have enough kind words to express my appreciation for Total Automotive. Great customer service, quality work, great price and completed quickly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! 9/3/20 I stopped in Total Automotive Repair after a friend recommended them. I had excessive noise in the front end of my 2011 Buick Enclave. Mario met me as I walked up to the door and after I described the problem, he went to my SUV and opened the hood. The engine moved a lot when put into gear. My motor mounts were bad and I had been told that in the recent past by another shop. Mario gave me an estimate which fell into the cost I expected. Mario got the job finished and even tightened a strut that was clanking. Job well done. I’m new to the area but I have found my Auto Repair shop.

Couple of weeks ago, My car AC got issue blowing hot air. Bobby and Mario worked on my car changing out Blend Door Actuactor, very professionally done, AC got fixed now Ive got cooler Air. Rate is the most reasonable in NB and San Antonio area. Honest mechanic.. I will give them 10 stars if 10 stars available. Worth driving from San Antonio to New Braunfels to fix my AC.
