Always professional with well trained staff. Joseph was so nice, and a little bulldog!!! He had trouble finding a coolant leak. He left no stone unturned, and found the leak. He also enlightened me with the true condition of our air ducts. Getting new ducting Thursday. If you clone this young man, Jon Wayne could rule the air conditioning wold. A shout out to Edward who was here in July - equally talented and super nice!
The service person was very professional and responsive and I enjoyed the interaction with him. I had asked for help with a stuck water filter and 4 leaking outdoor faucets but he also checked to make sure our water softener was working correctly and showed me how the builders had mis-plumbed our recirculation pump. Fortunately, he also checked our water pressure and found that it had crept up to 100psi, way to high, after only a few years. I had to dig for the valve at the curb and he reduced the pressure. I asked him to replace the outdoor faucets (4) with ball valves and he says thats what they normally install. He was here a little over 2 hrs and I think the price was about 50% too high (well over $500). If I had known the faucets werent soldered on, I would have replaced them myself. However, he did give me some good insight about our plumbing and I wouldnt have known about the high pressure because I dont think I would have ever checked. He did an excellent job and Im happy with what he did but I think the price was high for what was done. The ball valves are supposedly custom made for them but I dont know how much was parts because that isnt how they charge.
Called and Seth was able to make it out within an hour or two. Was rapidly getting hotter and already making plans to leave for the night. Seth was awesome and super knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and helpful - way above the necessary level. Got us fixed up in an hour or so and advised on work outside of the scope for future prevention. Will 100% be calling Jon Wayne and specifically Seth again anytime we need anything and recommend VERY highly.

The service technician was polite and courteous. He was also knowledgeable about unit. He spent two hours for a one-time outside unit and coil cleaning and installed a start-up kit which was included in price. I would highly recommend Jon Wayne A/C and will use them ifn the future should I have a need.
Typically I’ve enjoyed Jon Wayne’s service and professionalism. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding today. Workers came to prepare a concrete pad to hold a generator. The tech showed me where he’d have to put it which would have been in a very bad place, in the way, unsightly etc. When purchasing the worker showed me where it could be located which was relatively close to the house. The current worker said it would have to be set a lot farther away from the house. The position would be unsightly and in the way. I asked it be moved, since it could not be set where we had originally discussed. This cost another $3,500. But I wasn’t going to put it in such an unsightly and in the way place. Not happy to write another check when I believed we had already decided on a place per the prior service call. The workers today did a quality job and the placement won’t look … unprofessional. But writing another surprise check did not make me happy with Jon Wayne.
Jon Wayne Service is awesome. Use this company. I had another major A/C repair company look at my A/C the day before and they told me that it was not repairable and charged me $80 for nothing. Cliff at Jon Wayne did an amazing job as he took the time to find what was wrong and to fix it right. I would recommend this company to my mother.
Cost to Do repairs was so excessive we could not use them. Putting in an electrical line from an heater vent in a bathroom to the light socket would cost over a $1000.. The last estimate estimate was a $125. The associate who came out was great and understood we would not pay that much for a service.
Bought a brand new AC system from Jon Wayne last august. Had to have them out to service it by September due to not maintaining set temp and high humidity (60-80+% inside the house). my wife took off work to be there so it could be serviced since I took off for the install. The tech came and messed with the system and said whatever he did should fix it. Well it didnt but it started to cool off just enough outside that we didnt feel the need to have them back out right away. Especially since we had both taken off work already for this. Enter this summer and the humidity issues are just as bad if not worse. 70-80% average humidity inside the house. Clothes in closets are damp to the touch after just a day or two. I call Jon Wayne back out and take off work again to figure this out. The tech they sent out was thorough but didnt find anything himself. He called into tech support and they had him adjust a setting so well see what happens. As of right now its still 83% humidity in my house. While the tech was here though he informed me that apparently the 10yr parts and labor warranty on the unit that was one of the biggest selling points for me is only valid if I maintain a subscription service with them. Otherwise I get a manufacturer 5yr parts only warranty. So overall Im incredibly disappointed in the quality of the unit, the quality of the install, and Jon Waynes willingness to stand behind their products. The only reason they get 2 stars is because I liked the technician that came out today. He spent 4hrs going through everything on my unit to try to solve the problem before my warranty expires next week.TLDR: Jon Wayne has deceptive practices, installs poor quality equipment, and doesnt stand behind their products. Thoroughly displeased.

With our unprecedented snow and freezing temps the past 7 days, rolling brown outs, and low water pressure, one of my water pipes burst under my home and I was out of water for 3 days. People were great; they worked hard and were always courteous and willing. I would have preferred they take two days rather than one that ended near midnight. Secondly, the online function did not work initially; it was replaced by a different panel. That, too, seems to have some problem that they have not as yet fixed mainly because I am not present at the lake house. I am beginning to wonder if I should have stuck with a plain vanilla old style unit.

The service techs arrived on time, performed all the required maintenance, and left everything as expected. They even replaced a burned out light bulb for me in the attic near the inside unit.
I needed some HVAC work done. I really didn’t know who to call so I looked at reviews online. I decided to call Jon Wayne thinking that I would have to wait a few days. Instead, a very nice voice on the other end of the line offered a visit the same day. What a shock that was! When the technician arrived, he checked my system out and provided several recommendations from bare minimum to recommend maintenance to my HVAC system. He had all parts on his truck and never had to say “I’ll have to order that for you”. He did not ever try to push an unnecessary fix. In fact, he did say that a couple of “fixes” could wait a year. I recommend Jon Wayne wholeheartedly!!
The employees on the phone and in person were very nice. However, we decided not to use this company because we were given misinformation. My husband was informed on the phone that a special was happening for 50% off on water heaters, but when the employee came out, and I mentioned the 50% off, I was told that my husband spoke to a new employee and the discount did not apply, only a 20% off. We were very disappointed since we thought we would be getting a huge discount, only to find out that we would not be after all. While we realize that people make mistakes, it also not our fault that we were given false information and were expecting a huge discount, especially since we need 2 water heaters. In the end, customer service is very important to us, so for that reason, we will consider another company for our needs.

Very unhappy. Had yearly service done in January. Ac broke down in twice in 4 month same problem drain switch keeps going out. Had service today said drain clog again. Just did my own inspection water pan under coils full of water again. And they move the sensor from pan to top of drain pipe. Also told me I need a-coil cleaned for 600 dollars and I have maintain contract. Also I have cage around outside unit. Damage when put back. Back to the a coils. Tech told me my airflow was to dirty. Funny cause air flow comes through there 100 dollar filter.

During this last snow and ice winter storm we were without water. When water was restored, our outside water line into the water softener and then into our house broke and water spewed. All plumbers in New Braunfels were extremely busy and way behind in calls. We were able to get on the list for repairs with Jon Wayne. They were extremely courteous and were great at keeping us informed of when our time would come. They went above and beyond and even came to our house at 6:30 p.m. to repair the leak. Awesome!!!
Jon Wayne installed my unit 10 years ago and they have maintained & repaired it under the monthly service plan ever since. I have never had to pay additional for any repairs and they have always been quick to respond. Brian did a thorough inspection of our system and diagnosed the problem quickly. After replacing the defective capacitor, he did a check on the capability of our system and noted that it was also low on freon. Our system is now operating as expected. Thanks Brian!

Michael Norman is a great technician. He did a thorough maintenance on my a/c, heaters, plumbing and electrical. He explained everything to me afterwards and was very polite and professional.
Tech was Friedman, appeared knowledgeable, called as HVAC was whistling, needed recharge; all was good until gold, silver, bronze...bandaid options presented, lengthy visit. Noise stopped for a little while but reappeared, rescheduled back on Sunday. Fingers crossed!
Needed system inspected to include thermostat. Was having problems maintaining temperture with no success. Initially would set it at 68 degrees and temp in house was 50 degrees and it would not stay at 68 Degrees. After Tech left I still have problems with it. Had tech set it at 68 degrees and it switch to 78 automatically. I asked tech if all was well and he I asked him about the thermostat,and he assured me all was working well, well it is not. The thermostat settings are all screwed up and it keeps changing to 78 degrees. Need to have the thermostat reprogrammed or replaced.

The reason I called this business was because I had originally called AirOne HVAC out of San Marcos. After they quoted me a $400 repair charge for a $15 part (pressure switch), I refused to move forward and paid the $79 service charge.So I called Jon Wayne. I was super impressed with their service from start to finish - the receptionist intake call was detailed and professional as was the service call itself. They did what they said, when they said they were going to do it.The technician, Jesse Garcia, saw the problem immediately. The tube for the pressure switch was dangling from the fan motor and simply needed to be reattached. Honesty. He reattached the tube so the unit would ignite the heat exchange and that was that. Integrity. No part was needed after all and it was a $29 service charge.Do your homework on the companies you do business with if honesty and integrity matter.

This visit was for the annual service call to inspect my A/C and furnace, Change filters and UV light bulbs, electrical and plumbing inspection, Rennai water heater inspection. Service and professionalism is always top drawer with Jon Wayne Service Company. This is why I used them for A/C upgrade in 2016, and my water heater and water softener system in 2020. The upgrades to UV lights in the A/C and water softener are real pluses. Every JW employee that has been to my house for either an installation, or annual service inspection has been very professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. You cant go wrong with Jon Wayne.
Repair tech Thomas was extremely thorough and definitely an expert with diagnosis. I was unaware that the unit had several problems that were caused by lack of maintenance. He got all systems back to factory specs and the unit works better than ever. Signed up for the maintenance plan to keep it in tip top shape for years to come.

These guys are great, very professional from start to finish with my hvac installation at my new house, and very respectful of my home.They showed up the very next day after my initial call to have a new unit installed.I had a complete new system installed from the outside unit to the inside unit including all new ducts and vents and when everything was finished my house looked better than when they started cause they cleaned up EVERYTHING.I most definitely will recommend Jon Wayne Service Company to everyone i know and meet, and would like to say thank you to you guys for doin an amazing job!!!
They do very good work. Their prices are probably about a third higher than youd get elsewhere. What irritates me about this company is their hard sell policy. They did a beautiful job installing our HVAC and replacing the delivery system in the attic (ducts, etc.). But their salesmen/evaluators that come to see you when you need an inspection will not leave until they have tried to sell you something. They also played a bait and switch on my wife by selling her on a smart house system because she thought I wanted it, and I wasnt in the room when that part went down. My most recent experience was with the yearly maintenance on the system. This maintenance is free for 10 years, which is a perk of doing business with Jon Wayne. Even so, the maintenance person wanted to sell me a gizmo to attach to the indoor unit. It is supposed to remove particulates and ionize the air. As I recall, the HVAC was already supposed to do that. The cost was $1300+. He brought it up, not me. I havent noticed any problems with the system, and we have 4 animals. Would I do business with them again? I repeat, they do good work. Top quality. But you will pay for it, top price.

Today our Job Wayne reps were Edward for HVAC maintenance and Tony Ruiz for electrical installation estimates. They provided us with excellent service. They were so friendly, courteous, respectful, patient, informative, and mindful of Covid precautions. If we had a choice we would love for Edward to provide all our maintenance checks. Tony provided the information I needed to make my decision to install an outside ceiling fan, install an outside security camera, and installation of a 220 outlet for my fireplace e!ectric logs.He scheduled installation work to be done same day. The two electricians who provided work on all three installations were very thorough. They were so friendly, very efficient, and accommodating.
