Second set are from the redo it had to undergo immediately here in the Houston area at a different shop after picking up the vehicle.I immediately commented on the horrible match after I drove 2+ hours out to pick it up. We tried three times. Thats the best we could do. Verbatim. Then they said its an older car and the paint faded making it impossible to match. Let me ask you all a question about the way fading works... does it make factory paint DARKER?Not only do they do garbage work and willfully lie to customers in order to convince them its acceptable. They cant even lie well. Stay away.

We had our 2013 F250 Super Duty with Griffith Ford for 8 days and they could not locate the parts. Called Franks, drove the truck to them and within 20 minutes George had the parts located and we had our Moose back within 3 hours!!!! Love this place…..why would I ever go to a dealer ever again!!!!

They will squeeze every dollar out of you..Heard good things about this place. Gave it a shot. Had a hydraulic tensioner & timing belt replaced, Spent over $1,000 & still Got charged for brake clean & shop supplies ( shouldnt be charged for both..) & they lost 2 of lug nuts.. asked them to order & replace them.. got no follow upWent back for a coolant leak & got quoted well over $1200 for what should be 1/3 of the cost.I asked why so much I was told were not just going to give the parts to you for what we pay, weve gotta make money tooI was a service advisor for 5 years this is not how you treat customers.Its places like this are the reason Id rather take off work & wrench on my own vehicles

Just picked my truck up today. Frank’s completed body work a day early, had my truck washed and detailed on the inside as well. Daily text updates through out process of work as well as great contact through the scheduling process. Would recommend.

I wanted to like this place because it’s literally walking distance from the house, but I will not be returning.My car was making a rattling noise upon starting and I wanted to get the issue checked out. I was told there would be a $66.00 diagnostic fee to figure out the issue. When it came time to pay I was told the mechanic had to spend a little longer with the car so the cost would be $110.00. I’m not sure why I wasn’t told about this additional charge at any point or asked if the additional charge would be okay. Next, I was told that the issue with my car was the timing chain and would be almost a $3,000.00 fix. I wanted a second opinion so I took my car to two other mechanics who both said that the issue was not a timing chain issue but rather a different minor problem.On a positive note the guy at the front desk was very friendly.

I am so happy to have found this service. I drove my car through a not so tiny puddle and flooded my engine, filters and oil thing. I had my car towed there to have it repaired. When I tell you, I did some damage to this car. However, everyone was so kind and professional and made sure to communicate with me everything that needed to be done and if they needed a little more time. They didnt try to charge me for unnecessary repairs and they never made me feel like I was a problem or just another customer. I highly recommend this company to anybody who needs work done on their cars.

I had my rear view mirror replaced and Jaime was great, he got the mirror done in less than 30 minutes. Ive always take my car there for collision repair, regardless. Very professional atmosphere and nice, knowledgeable people.

Very good service in a timely fashion and good price. Super friendly staff! I had an oil and cabin and air filter change and diagnostics for a problem. They were honest and helped me to find out that my problem would be best served by taking it to the dealership so I could be covered by warranty. Excellent business!

I always appreciate finding a trusted mechanic. The staff at Franks make me feel they have my best interests in mind. I last went there for a engine diagnostic and they gave me some suggestions on what it might be before I took it in just in case I could take care of it myself to save me the cost of service. The fact they did this (and Ive only been there a few times) lets me in now they treat their customers with honesty and respect.

I was rear ended & Franks Auto & Collision repaired all the damages beautifully & quickly! Mary & Craig were the super helpful folks in the office who were very kind & knowledgeable!! They kept me informed every step of the process. Then to my surprise, the guys detailed my car!! I have never been so happy with auto service as I am with these guys! They repaired my electric window 3 weeks ago, part ended up being defective. Replaced today (5/5) with a new one. Been with Franks for over 20 years, no complaints.

I am very impressed with Frank’s Automotive and Collision. They were fast, courteous, and did a fabulous job on my vehicle. I really liked the text updates as I have been to other auto shops in the past where you have to keep calling to get updates so that was awesome to have. I will definitely use Frank’s in the future.

First off all 4 of my vehicles always go to Franks. But this time they totally surprised me. Asked them to change oil&filter and give car a lookout as we are going on 2k mile trip. They did. And they found a cracked radiator! You know this would have given away out in the middle of nowhere! They had to order from out of town but they had it hear next morning and our car was ready by 1pm! Later when we got home I was going to replace one of the windshield washers but found they also fixed that and never mentioned it to me nor did they bill me! How many places nowadays will do that!

Service mgrs, George and Roy, explained what needed to be repaired and even prioritized upcoming repairs. Mechanic Fred (I believe that is his name.) and George showed me what parts were leaking.

Best of all, no charge! Took my brand new two week old truck in after being rear ended. Their customer service is great. The actual work not so much. Left way to much orange peel in the paint. They didnt align the bumper or the bed correctly. Took it back to have it fixed. They only sanded the tailgate, left the orange peel on the bumper. They didnt even align the bumper or bed. Sent it back to me completely covered in sanded paint, finger prints all over the inside of my truck to match the paint color of course. Also had my badges and emblems replaced with custom ones while it was in their care and they scratched the hell out of my fenders in the process.

We had an appointment to drop our vehicle off. When we arrived, they had no records of us and the lady helping us was incredibly rude and dismissive and was making faces and acting frustrated with US. I do not recommend a place with customer service as bad as this. I would never trust my vehicle at a place that is so rude and dismissive to their customers. We took our business elsewhere.

I was referred to Franks by AAA during a family emergency and I have used them ever since. I have even had cars towed a good distance to get them to their shop. We have had 6 cars if not more serviced there and they were approved by a 3rd party warranty service. They also offer lifetime/coast-to-coast transferable warranties.

They explained and showed me what caused the problem I had and what should be done to correct it. George Smith the service manager I dealt with, was so friendly when I walked in. It was if he knew me from before. He, a long with the mechanic Henry Espinosa did a great job fixing my vehicle. Without a doubt, Franks Automotive will get my business and I recommend them to all.

These folks seem like the real deal. Called right when they opened and they told me to head on in. They were able to look at it same day which I desperately needed. Unfortunately, my engine was done for but they were informative and communicative through the process. Quoted me 600 for some work, then discovered more ominous issues before proceeding beyond an oil change and engine diagnostic so the charges were manageable (though nobody likes paying 200 bucks for no results, the alternatice was much worse). Also informed me of a few options since Im now in the market for another vehicle. Friendly service is always appreciated.

Went in for a simple estimate on two tires and a battery for a 2003 beetle, things I know for sure take very short intervals of time to look up and was told by the salesman whom I spoke to that he was too busy with other tickets. He then proceeded to write down my number and said hed call me within the hour for the part estimates. Never received a phone call. The icing on the cake is that my own family has been a high ranking team member of Franks, of which meant little as I received horrible customer service. Guess having to do your job in a fast paced environment isnt something they excel at here.

Replaced my passenger front drive axle and transmission fluid flush and air filter on my 2006 hummer h3 has a rancho 6 lift dealer installed has over 195,000 miles after bringing to Franks automotive drives like almost new they did great job checking what was needed and completed in one day

Very friendly service desk, however, took +8 days and +$1800.00 to get the work done, mechanics didnt reattach the instrument cluster to the dash and the floor and interior of my car was trashed with grease and dirt. Interior door, dash center arm rest, gear shift lever, glove box, and drivers seat were covered with oil and grease. I spent 20-30 minutes outside of customer service, trying to secure the instrument cluster back on the dash and used a pack of wet wipes to clean the wheel, seat and gear shift lever, just to drive the car. Please dont offer me a car wash or detail now, because if your mechanics or customer service cared, they should have shown it then.

Had an unfortunate accident and was rear ended. Wasnt looking forward to what I thought would be a difficult process to get my car fixed. Brought our car in on a monday and got it back on wednesday, and they even washed and cleaned it. Very impressed, will be back if I ever need body work done again.

Had them fix the bumper on my 2020 silverado and they cant seem to install it straight. I have brought it back once already, but its still crooked and exhaust tips arent on straight. The trailer hitch is crooked as well. I used my insurance to get it fixed so im not sure what the deal is with not doing the job correctly. The front office has been nice, but since I work out of town everytime I have brought it in I lose my truck for a week. Truck has less than 8k miles and is flawless other than the area they fixed

Franks was great! Gave us regular status updates and seemed to work as fast as they could. The only complaint was when we picked up the car the nice gentlemen who went over the damage was not the person directly related to the repair so he really didnt know what to say to us.

Frank’s was very professional and courteous. I had two cars in at the same time for different reasons. They always called me with updates and even suggested items I could do later if money was an issue which I really appreciated since I was having two cars repaired. The car looked great after the repairs that had body damage and was finished one day later than they estimated but it was a big job. Very happy and will return for sure!

My vehicle went in for a engine light on and a noise in the suspension, almost 3000.00 later still has engine light on and a noise in the suspension. The manager told us to take elsewhere if we didnt like his response.

My electric windows quit working, and the problem was not with the electric window motor or the fuse. I also needed an engine tune-up. Service Manager George Smith was so professional, and informed me of other necessary repairs which were due and which I had intended to have done but forgot to mention. Everything was done for a very reasonable price, and I could not be more pleased. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Franks Automotive! On a Saturday evening I was traveling through Texas on the I10 from Arizona in our full size Chevy van when it lost power and died. All symptoms pointed to us having to buy a new alternator. Franks AAA tow truck took the van away, and we stayed in a motel that was right off the exit. Since no one, even Franks, works on a Saturday night or Sunday, by Monday morning we were a day late on our trip. I called in to Franks the first thing in the morning and explained my situation. They got the van in right away and fixed a cable that had broken off the back of the alternator. They sent a very nice driver out to get us (who wanted to help with our suitcases) and we were on our way before noon! They could have easily said I needed a new alternator and charged us hundreds of dollars, and I would have been none the wiser. But they didnt. They were fair and attentive to a customer who they knew might never return. Very professional. I wish they were in Arizona!

Had cooling problems, thought it might be a bad radiator. They checked and found it was the radiator cap gone bad. Also found top and bottom original hoses were needing replacement. Car is 12 years old. They did the work in less than four hours in very busy shop. They also noted the rear shocks were weak. Shocks will be another day after the new year. Fast friendly service. Clean waiting area, clean restrooms. I would go back to them for future service. Oh, BTW they are a AAA certified shop. Every little discount helps.

A/C went out in our truck and Franks automotive was able to get it repaired very quickly.Also researched and found out there was a recall on a part for our truck. Advised us to take to the dealer and have it taken care of.Recommend Franks automotive for excellent service.In addition, made sure we knew there was coffee, water, fruit and pastries if we needed something to eat.

Ran into an issue with my Subaru. Colten (spelling?) was great. The part was impossible to find and several suppliers canceled orders which caused a delay. The communication was excellent all the way through and when I picked up the vehicle he showed me the faulty part that I am now yelling at Subaru about.

Hello all. So glad all of you had a five star experience with Franks. Unfortunately I did not. My Eclipse Cross was taken in about 2 months ago due to a deer hit. Franks came recommended by a co-worker of mine. And to my surprise Franks also has a contract with Progressive, my auto insurance, which in hindsight was not a good thing for me. After being told 3-5 different finish dates my vehicle was finally done. The whole front end had to be completely re-done. And when I picked it up it looked beautiful. The body work was awesome. You would have never known it had been in an accident. I forgot to mention my vehicle was band new. I only had it 3 weeks and bought I with 27 miles on it. I digress... beautiful body work. I signed, paid my deductible and was on the road again. Thats where my problem started. The vehicle was way off alignment and the back tires would skid when I took off from a stop. This is a four wheel drive so that should not happen. I contacted my insurance and Franks. I was asked to bring the vehicle back. I used my better judgement and did not. Instead I took it to another body shop that did a full inspection and determined my vehicles A frame was bent thus a total loss. A week later I took it to a dealership to trade it in and they also confirmed my vehicle should have been totaled out. I understand that it is not up to the body shop to make the determination to total out a vehicle but a knowledgeable body shop would know if the frame is bent and a shop with integrity and honesty should have stood up for what was right and refused to fix a vehicle that was a total loss instead of cowardly accepting a $14,000+ check just because they have a contract with the insurance company leaving a single mother to drive her children around in a vehicle that is not fit to drive. So please beware of Franks. I am know left with a vehicle with frame damage, that is unsafe to drive and am constantly having to reattach my bumper, I was told that issue was attributed to the frame being bent and the parts not aittsit right, that Im stuck with for the entire term of my loan. FYI...they dont deserve one star but have to because putting no stars would not allow me to post.

Went in for a standard oil change and I mentioned I heard a thumping sound coming from the front left tire as well and could they check into it. They discovered some lug nuts were coming loose, they torqued all lug nuts on all four tires for no extra charge. Great service and great people working there that truly are looking out for you and your cars best interests.

Best customer service experience I have had in a very long time. George was knowledgeable and patient. The quality of care I received will ensure I am a return customer should I have a need in the future.

They are not timely with their repairs. I have had to pick up my car almost five times to get to work. That is, picking up my unrepaired car. Five. Times. Not only will the end result of this repair be expensive, but the money spent on Uber has piled up considerably. Many people dont have consecutive days where their car can be left in the shop. If you are one of those people, dont come here. Ive gotten torn apart by my supervisors because Franks couldnt diagnose and/or repair my vehicle in a timely manner. Do some repairs take more time than others? Absolutely. However, for a car that hasnt been totaled, and just needed another part, this experience has been BEYOND frustrating. Oh, and before this specific instance, I took my car here for the same problem that they claimed to fix, but found not even three days later that NOTHING changed. My mistake for coming back here. Only reason I did was because of their warranty. They upheld their warranty agreement so Im grateful for that at least.UPDATE:5 minutes after receiving my repaired vehicle, the EXACT SAME PROBLEM happend 3 TIMES while on I-35 in the span of 25 minutes. Waste of my time. Dont waste yours.

Got our car in ASAP. 1st fix wasnt the problem but after a few extra test and a video sent to us to help us understand what was going on our car was fixed and back to us within 24hrs. The staff were very nice and extremely accommodating to our travel needs.

BLOWN AWAY! wow - as a female who has no idea how cars work, taking my car to the mechanic is something I will procrastinate - until something breaks!Some car thingy fell off my car and I needed to go to the nearest mechanic available, since I was worried of the expense of having to Uber it to and fro. I called Franks to see if they could help. Aaron was super friendly and invited me to drop my car off as soon as convenient and Mikey would bring me home. I was so delighted that I could wait at home instead of wasting hours at the shop, PLUS I didnt have to worry about Uber!I was fearful the bill (there was obvious damage to the undercarriage of my car) might put me into shock. Aaron kindly told me not to worry and that he understood that investing in a 17 year old car they would do the best they could to make it safe and run again. After he picked me up (within minutes of my call) to bring me to my car he had everything already taken care of for me for just $100!!Honestly, Ive never had such great customer service at a mechanics (and I used to own a hotel, so know the value it can bring to a business.) I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Franks - honestly, I was in a bit of shock that getting my car fixed had been so easy! Im so grateful!
