This is a brand new Dollar Tree in the home of a former Ace Hardware. I went midweek, a few days after the Grand Opening banner went up over Labor Day weekend. We also went early in the morning to avoid crowds. I was disappointed to see so few people wearing masks, especially the employees.The store itself is bright and well lit, with wide aisles. Since this store is replacing the one very close by, almost across the street, it is a huge improvement over that dim, cramped store. We found tons of art and craft supplies that we didnt know we needed, as well as lots of other fun stuff.Oddly there was no anti-itch cream that I was looking for after being bit up by mosquitoes lately. However, they havent quite unpacked all the inventory yet, as evidenced by the boxes around and a couple of gaps in the shelves. My daughter was thrilled they had two types of blind bag items, one with plastic animals, one with lip gloss, and I liked the official Barbie accessories, like shoes or purses, for $1. I am impressed by the big freezer section, but didnt try anything there yet. We did buy a Stroopwafel (caramel wafer cookie) from the Netherlands that was delicious though!

Bad first impression this is a Grand opening I went to buy a spray bottle couldn’t find anyone working the floor one cashier 2:00 pm busy the line was going down a into where merchandise is so I asked cashier can you open another line can you call someone she yelled for a women the women answered back Iam counting money still no answer if they sold water bottle and carrying items I go to stock door I heard few voice cracked the door about a foot I said excuse me can I ask you a question the young women turned around and said Iam unloading a truck I said you have a line going all the way back she then said we have people on the floor (No you Don’t) so I left still more people lined up no has come out I go back to the stock door again and they blocked the door with a long cart full of merchandise in boxes ( fire Hazards) I yelled and said you have a line going all the way back no one answered finally a women and a man comes out of office people were frustrated at time she starts to ring up people and he just stands there so the girl in the back your rude ! You could have let me ask the question and get help for up front !! Won’t be going back .I’ll be contacting corporate on the friend in the back unprofessional. I didn’t get a water bottle and don’t know if they sell any .

They are moving, which was only evident by them packing boxes and near empty shelves. I didnt see a sign on the door mentioning the move, I only overheard another customer ask them about the move. They did not greet me nor anyone that entered, which is completely rude. Their discussions centered around which type of rap they did like versus the kind they didnt like. When I walked to the front of the store after realizing the move and asked about it, I was not given the new location nor effective date.. They simply said yes they were moving, then stared at me..so I stared back, squinted my eyes, and shook my head as walked to the exit.I wouldnt recommend going here or the new location unless they hire new people that care about customer service. I cant recall the last time I felt like I didnt belong in a place until coming here.

This store is moving to national ave where the old Ace hardware used to be.It will have better disability access and the freezer section. Hopefully the same staff will be there to continue assisting customers with their smiling faces.It will have a brand new ventilation system and more square footage.

The person work the checkout was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Not only to me but to my mother. I made it a point to tell her to have a nice day, thought this might help her attitude but she just gave me a dirty look and did not respond. The store itself was ok. A bit empty of stock but otherwise fine, I found most of what I was looking for and did like the selection of reading glass.

Staff is incredibly sweet. Very helpful. One lady worker went beyond what she had to... To solve a problem. I dont get out in this area often but when I do I always make a trip to this specific dollar tree.

Manager Heather is extremely unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to not only employees but also customers. Witnessed her yelling and swearing at employee do to an error on her own part with scheduling NOT the employees! When asked for corporate phone number was told would need to find on own on Google, she knew she was in the wrong and didnt want to get in trouble. Did file complaint with corporate as well as located her manager number and spoke with him!

Great selection. Store is kind of dingey, looking forward to the new store coming!

Best place to buy gift bags, cards and some food products. Couldnt believe they had 50% off Christmas wrapping paper today. That made it only .50 a roll for Hallmark paper ! Such a buy for penny less me.

I would give the manager of this store zero stars if I could.I went in today to purchase 12 balloons. After some ordeal with the cashier and manager they finished, I paid and left. Once I arrived home I grabbed the balloons from my vehicle and two pulled off the strings, resulting in one floating away. I was able to catch the other.I went back to the same dollar store to get another balloon to replace the one that floated away. I didn’t ask for them to replace it. I went there knowing I would have to buy another balloon.When I spoke to the manager about the issue with the balloons coming off the string he was very rude. I asked him why they don’t tie the strings onto the balloons. His reply to me was, “you know how labor instensive that is? We sell over 500 balloons a day.” He admitted he knew it was an issue and told me to go buy garbage bags and put the balloons in the garbage bags. I asked him why should I have to spend more money because you refuse to address the real issue of the strings coming off the balloons. His response was, “everything is a dollar so.” It quickly escalated to an argument so I ended the conversation.I will not return to this store. The manager of this store should not be the manager. Anyone knowing there is an issue with a product they sell and solving it by telling customers to spend more money is, incompetent.
