The 7x12’ trailer I rented recently was perfect. Basically brand new, high quality, with a heavy duty hitch, and the price for a day rental was extremely reasonable. Towed like a dream, and I can’t say enough about their customer service. Steve, Drew, and Isaiah all went above and beyond what they had to do to help my day go smoothly, and that’s perhaps worth the most. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

Totally pleased with Area Rental and Id recommend their services to everyone. Amy, the sales manager went out of her way to assist my organization with a tent rental after another local rental company pulled the plug on my order 1 month before the event. This is a great company to rent a tent from IF you want them to send unqualified workers to come and damage your property. See pics for the damage they did to my newly constructed deck. The owner Mike Landry dragged this out for weeks, insisting that the damage was normal wear and tear.Stay away!!!

I rented a 30 x 45 tent for an engagement party on July 4th. The tent came extremely dirty and ripped. Area Rental claimed that a simple hose rinse would clear it up, it did not. If you are in need of a tent for a wedding, I would make sure the tent is cleaned before hand.The woman who I was in contact with, Amy did not follow up as she was supposed to 10 days before our event. I had to reach out to Area Rental myself to confirm everything was good to go. During this call, I decided to add on 4 white tablecloths. I was quoted $9 per tablecloth over the phone and decided to go ahead. When I received my final bill they charged me $22 per tablecloth. At $22 a tablecloth, I would have bought them myself. I asked for the agreed $9 price to be honored but they said they couldnt do that for me since I didnt sign a quote. Doesnt this go both ways? They never sent an updated quote and gave me the wrong quote over the phone. I am very disappointed that Area Rental did not work with me on finding a solution.After my experience with Area Rental, I cannot recommend them. Area Rental may have a large variety of selection but there are other local companies to choose from.

We rented chairs for a baby shower because they had the best price I found in the Milwaukee area, $1.30 per chair. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Returning the chairs on Sunday was convenient. We would rent from them again.

I rented a mini-excavator through Area Rental. The team provided excellent customer service and knowledge upon pickup. The machine was secured properly and the trailer was in perfect condition. I was able to complete various projects: digging a trench to redirect water, digging out a deck post to reset, re-building a shoreline, and spreading/regrading pathways. The mini-excavator is operator friendly and very versatile. The smaller size of the machine makes it easy to maneuver in tighter spaces and reduces the damage done to your surfaces. (grass/dirt/gravel/etc.) I also felt the price was fair for the 7 day rental. I am excited to utilize Area Rental for future projects!-Mike

This past Saturday we worked with Area rental to supply a tent, tables, chairs and lights. Amy and the other internal folks did a nice job and the setup and takedown crews as well. A couple of items were missing from the order and I noticed this late in the setup. The setup crew had someone deliver the forgotten items in a short period. Everyone makes an occasional mistake but it is how you handle the mistake that makes the difference. This is a fine organization.

Had an interview with a great owner named Mike, very rude and unpleasant individual. During the interview process I had asked a question about the insurance. Mike had said that they pay 60% and the employee pays 20%, so I was dumbfounded because Mike obviously cannot add and was also on his period today. Once I asked the question, he totally flipped out and tried to say that he was correct with his numbers, I on the other hand wouldnt have asked where the other 20% came from. He told me to get the f out of there, and I left politely. Take a midol Mike and it doesnt pay to be rude. You can lose business that way. And during the interview, didnt you say something about having a good attitude?? Starts from the top down my man.

I came in to rent some tables and chairs, also a customer set up tent 20x20 for my daughters graduation party. Tent was ripped and dirty I called talked to mike said he couldn’t do anything. That is the owner of area rentals may I add. Customer service there is ridiculous. Very unorganized company if you as me. Rent at jk rentals or equipment rentals better customer service.

Area Rental and Sales, specifically Amy and Steve, have been fantastic!!! I am getting married in May and selling my house before the wedding. Amy has been great following up with me, sporadically to see if I have any questions. She also remembered a bunch of stuff we talked about even though we only chatted a couple of times. When I called over the weekend, Steve was just as pleasant and helpful as Amy. I know that they will do a great job with my wedding chairs as they have been amazing!!!

I rented a 1 ton ride-on lawn roller today from Area rentals in New Berlin. From my first call to reserve it to when I returned it everything went seamlessly. Amy answered all my questions and was very helpful. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I didnt have to do a thing, they hooked and unhooked the trailer for me. Also, I had rented it for the day not knowing how long I would use it. As it turned out I returned it within 4 hours and they refunded the difference without me even asking. It was my mistake and they didnt have to do that. Much appreciated. Wont be the last time I rent from them. Thanks guys, Calvin

Rented a power broom to cleanup some gravel from this past years snow plowing. The unit started on the second pull when cold and the first pull when warmed up. What would have taken 6 hrs of raking now only took 1 hr with the Husqvarna power broom. Customer service was great and will visit again!

We have been renting from Area Rental for years. They always take good care of us.And now they stupidly threw away a good cutomer by over charging. I rented a utility trailer that rents for $42 a day. I used it for 2 days and 2 hours. They charged me for the full week giving me a line of BS that once it gets to the 3rd day their policy is too charge for the whole week. Foolish policy, dishonest way to treat a good customer, I will look elsewhere for rentals.

What a great, easy, efficient process to pick up the equipment. Rented a 55 foot towable lift and forgot the trailer plug adapter. They provided one with no questions asked. Would recommend them to anyone and I will use again for a chipper and stump grinder.

I rented a plate compactor for project. When I picked it up, it looked older but appeared in OK condition. When I started using it for my project, it ran for about 5 minutes before the engine started sputtering. I ensured the choke was off and the spark plug wire was fully engaged. After I returned it to Area Rentals, the mechanic came over and removed the air filter. The intake was CAKED with at least 1/4 of dirt and grim. No wonder the engine barely ran. Clearly, equipment here is not maintained. No one apologized for my time wasted and the employee processing the return appeared annoyed.
