It went really well! And I am SO happy with my new bathroom. They tore down the walls around the bathtub and put in new cement board, tile, and a glass block window. Installed new faucets in the tub and new vanity, electrical and medicine cabinet.The communication through the project was excellent, whenever there was a slight hiccup it was addressed immediately. And there were a few additional things that had to be adjusted after the completion of the project and they sent someone right away to deal with it. The workmanship was very good and I will definitely be hiring them for additional projects!

We used 2nd Life for a basement remodeling project. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and the online system they use to track project updates is the best Ive used. Communication especially through challenging scheduling issues caused by COVID was extremely important, and its an area where many contractors struggle. They were flexible, able to adjust to a few change requests without trouble, and their pricing is quite competitive. We were very happy with the quality of the work, and we hope to use them again in a future project.

We asked them to do a remodel of our second floor and to put in a new bathroom and they absolutely rocked it out of the park!While we had some issues with the city regarding permits, 2nd Life was so great in guiding us through the process and helping us to understand what was going on. They were also great in helping us to budget out our project and to make sure that everything was on task and on track to be completed during the projected timeline. The Co-Construct system that they use is absolutely amazing and it is really useful to keep track of what is happening and when so there are no surprises in terms of when work is happening or the cost.Overall, if you want people who do great work, and who are honest, professional, and affordable, call 2nd Life. 2nd Life remodeled my kitchen 2 years ago. I recently had an issue with a leaking shower faucet. I was told by the home warrenty plumber he could not get to the leaky valve and needed access through the wall. I call Tim to come out to give me an estimate to upen the wall for the plumber and to close it after they were finished. Tim come out and upon inspection, advised my to get a 2nd opinion. I did and the second plumber was able to access the leaky valve and repair not only that one but relace all 3 valves. My wall is still intact. Tim went above and beyond. He is honest and gave me very good advice. Look no further for an honest contractor.

I cannot say enough good things about 2nd Life Home Repair & Remodel. We completed a full second floor remodel of a Wauwatosa bungalow. When we ran into issue due to unreasonable demands by the Wauwatosa City Inspector trying to force us to make unneeded updates to sections of the house not even being remodeled, 2nd Life fought tooth and nail on our behalf and brought in many other experts to help. They are professionals through and through.Communication was amazing and the team completed all of their work on time (minus delays caused solely by the City of Wauwatosa Inspector) and on-budget. They were transparent on everything, the project management was well laid out and easy to follow, and the quality of work was top-notch.I will use 2nd Life for all future remodels! 2nd Life was very professional and organized. Their quote was lower than others I got, but I never felt that I compromised quality. They remodeled my bathrooms by installing new toilets and a tub with tile. They were timely, respectful of my home, and were detail oriented. The new bathroom is so pretty and I would happily work with them again.

2nd Life Home repair Was great to work with. Although we did not go with their service because we ended up not doing the project because my family relocated, Tim was awesome to work with. He came by multiple times to look at what we wanted to do, and he spent the time to share his knowledge on the type of project we were doing. He was able to provide us with information he had based on projects he had done for house in the area as far as things that may need to be done to bring the room up to code based on our house being 100 years old. The quote They gave us was very reasonable, and we were ready to pull the trigger, but we ended up selling the house as it was. When I talked to him about just doing part of the project, he was able to quickly write up a quote and let me know when they could do it.They were great to work with and very responsive and quick.

Did an excellent job repairing our plaster ceilings! The team who came to our house were quick and did excellent work, we would definitely work with them again.

From start to finish, I was so impressed with how timely and professionally the remodel on our basement was as well as the quality of finishes! I will definitely be using 2nd Life for any future needs!

Insulated and drywalled garage, seal coat basement concrete. Drywall in garage is done and I already know there is no one else I would call for a home repair project. Communication with office staff is timely and professional. I couldnt be happier with the work and professionalism with people that have come to my house so far.

I had a relatively small project to install some kitchen cabinets and above range microwave. 2nd Life and Tim treated me as if I was one of his much larger customers. For anyone thats been blown off by other contractors for bigger jobs before, this was a nice change. The team was professional and courteous, and flexible in their scheduling as 1 of my cabinets was damaged in shipping, requiring them to come back for an additional day. Very pleased with the price and results and will definitely be using 2nd life for larger projects in the future. Thanks guys!
