I took our Subaru in for new tires and brakes. Scheduling was simple. I received a call from Evan the morning of the appointment, verifying the type of tires I wanted, before I even dropped the car off. Their online inspection report was great, as I could look over their findings, and recommended maintenance items before speaking with the shop. I received a few calls throughout the day with status updates and was able to pick the car up the same day. Bonus - their military discount saved me some coin as well.

I have a high mileage 14 year old luxury SUV. The body is in great shape, interior is flawless. The check engine light came on. I feared the worst. Although it was not inexpensive, they were very honest and professional. Gave me the option to have the repairs or not. No high pressure and they were spot on with their diagnosis and cost was exactly what tjey quoted. It was nice to have the courtesy car too. Great customer service. I will definitely return if I have service needs in the future.

Brought my vehicle in for emissions testing. There were 2 places closer but this place had the highest Google review so I tried there first. I was not disappointed. Great service, friendly and in and out in 10 minutes. Needed to get my oil changed on our plug-in hybrid. Once again great service and quality work. Very professional, very thorough, honest. I can not stress this part enough. Had 2 vehicles done this week. One of them we were told by someone else it needed a new alternator and ignition switch. Took to Silver Lake, only needed a battery charge. Same vehicle now 4 days later is still going good, without a single issue. They send you updates with the pictures of your vehicle and the devices with the readings for you to see too. This is the place to go and I will not go elsewhere, and will wait if I have to, just to get my work done here in the future. Top notch service and staff.

I had a great first experience with Silver Lake when I used them for the first time ever to replace a leaking water pump. Josh was great. Their communications (texts, emails, phone calls, detailed estimate) were outstanding and something I was not used to getting from other auto service shops. I plan to buy new tires from them next month. And I live within walking distance of them. I feel like Ive found a new friend!

I needed a special type of wheel weight for a set of custom wheels on my 2016 Ram 2500. Not only did they have the proper weights, they had the right equipment to actually lift my truck (which seems to weights more than a 747 airplane). Tyler, the manager, went above and beyond and I am more than happy with the work. I was particularly happy when he told me they were going to test drive the truck and come back and check/re-torque the lug nuts. (There actually is a torque spec for lug nuts people, and it is extremely important)I WILL return for more services in the future. Thanks again Tyler, and good luck with the business. I highly recommend this business and the manager Josh was very professional and Nice. They Kept me up to date on what problems they found and provided me with a detailed report with pictures showing the problem areas. They also have loaner cars at no charge which definitely helps lower the stress level when it comes to needing to get to work or around town.

I discovered Silver Lake Auto in New Berlin because they do emission testing and they were so nice and professional so, thought I’d come back and use them to get my new tires. I just love how honest they are. I work mostly with Kresha and she is very honest, explains everything to you, and tells you what she would do if it was her vehicle. I really appreciate the honesty from her since I don’t know much about cars and rely on the professionals. Silver Lake did a great job and I will definitely be back for any other car needs I have! I highly recommend them!!

Very nice experience with Silver Lake in NB. They were able to diagnose and repair my vehicle quickly. They even gave me a ride home after dropping the car off. Email and text updates kept me informed. Work completed included, water pump, radiator, and compressor along with all new fluids. They even helped me out and installed a new front headlight bulb that was difficult to get to. A small task for them but they were happy to do it. The free car wash was also a bonus. Would use them again and recommend.

This was the best experience Ive had with car repair. I had taken my car to 2 different places to find the leak in my air conditioning. This was my third try and they found the leak right away. I can now ride in comfort.

After over 30 years at a different mechanic that has now closed, I found this shop through the internet. I chose them because of convenient location and the volume of positive feedbacks. They are extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Their shop is very clean and their personnel very polite. My car’s check engine light was on and the first thing that needed fixing was replacement of the spark plugs. The car is running nicely now. There are other things that will need to be taken care of - all in due time. My car is a 2002 Toyota Camry with close to 160,000 miles. I’m hoping to get another year or two out of it before getting next car so I need a mechanic I can trust and it looks like I found that at Silver Lake Auto.

I was very happy with the service, they stayed in contact with me and gave updates. The communication was outstanding! I also loved that they have a women mechanic! Overall it was a great experience and would recommend them to all my friends in the New Berlin/Milwaukee area. Too bad I live in Madison and only had it towed there when my car broke down on my way home from Milwaukee, otherwise I would go to them for all my car maintenance needs.

Bonus, they email you the results of their inspections inside and out complete with pictures. They check everything, amazing. I will definitely use them again. This was my first experience with Silver Lake. They scheduled the appointment quickly and were ready when I arrived. The service was quick and well done. The cost was well in-line with what I expected. Bottom line, Ill be back.

There was nothing that could’ve been done to improve the service. Everything was wonderful. They explained everything very well and noticed some issues that I was not aware of. I appreciated this because I am not mechanically inclined. I also appreciated the use of a loaner car. Because of this, I didn’t miss work or any other plans.

Loved the technology tie ins and sending me pictures of all the work the were performing and me not having to be there. Also appreciated the interior car cleaning. It was my first experience. So far, so good. Only downfall was getting multiple calls adding on extra work. Was all needed, but would have had just one call with all the info.

Bought new tires for the upcoming snowy season and needed to have them mounted. While completing the tire change, they noticed some other issues with my alignment and brakes. Tyler was great at keeping me in the loop with timely updates throughout the day and cost of services. This was the best place I have ever used to work on my vehicle. The front desk person was extremely professional and kept me updated on what my car needed and what it would cost. The mechanics were great. My 2006 RAV4 is like a new vehicle. They were above and beyond my expectations. When my car was done they brought it to my home. I would not even consider using another shop. The best part is the car did not have the usual grease monkey smell that you usually have when your car is worked on. You could not tell a mechanic was even in there. I love this place and it is my go to for as long as theyre in business or I no longer drive.Richard Marek

Had a leaky tire and scheduled an appointment. Had them perform visual inspection while it was on lift. Found the leaks even though another shop couldnt. Im not going to call out other shop they did leak test outside tire so not fair, just happy Silver Lake found them! Very nice and clean building. Final invoice was what I expected for work performed. Notice driving by that lounge looks empty, found out its because neighbors take advantage of pickup/drop off services. Would recommend.

Silver Tire recommended that we change the serpentine belt, tensioner, and the tensioner pulley. They did this in a timely fashion and gave us a good deal.

I had an oil change scheduled for today (Oct 30th) and they refused their own coupon. It stated that the first 200 people who liked their Facebook page qualified. As of today, they have under 140 (See for yourself). The service guy used the excuse Well, we had other people come in that used the same coupon. I said, But I was Like #132. He said, Sorry, they are all used up. So they have probably been refusing them since after the first week. Its the old bring them in, then screw them technique.
