Everything worked out great. Repairman was running late because the call before us needed a furnace replacement. He did let us know that this was going to hold him up a while but really appreciated that he kept in contact with us about it. Will definitely keep doing business with them. In fact, they are coming to tune up our a/c before the hot weather comes.

We called Better Homes early on a Sunday morning during day 2 of multiple 90 degree hot humid days - our A/C had stopped working. The only person answering the phone took our information telling us a technician would be in touch. We figured it might be a day as it was so hot. Paul called us within 30 minutes and was at our house less than an hour after our initial call. He got our A/C working and explained all our options. We appreciate this type of customer service.

Darrius is a great technician. He knows his equipment and was able to diagnose 2 problems just by me describing them. He quickly fixed both and showed me what he was doing, so in the future I can maintain my HVAC better.

Furnace went out in the middle of a cold day. BHH was able to get a technician out in less than an hour. Was able to get a replacement part and fix our furnace for a very reasonable price.Also helped unplug AC unit in the summer, and also responded quickly. Great service all-year round!

My A/C unit ran smoothly, but was not producing cold air as usual. After the technician worked on my A/C unit (for a cleaning), my unit no longer worked. It was making loud noises, the fan would either shake badly or not spin at all. After another worker looked at it made things WORSE!!!! Now it doesnt work at all!!!!! Then on top of that CALLED ME A LIAR!!!! I will NEVER use your company again and will tell EVERYONE I know NEVER to use your company again!!!!!!

We have had two excellent visits and service by Better Home Heating.It makes me feel confident when I have someone so helpful to call if there is an emergency. Darius is one cool dude!

Had a part replaced but it didnt fix the problem. Furnace is not heating. The furnace is running almost constantly but doesnt get up to temp. After replacing the part the technician checked the air flow and did mention it was weak . There wasnt any heat coming out just a very light air flow. I feel like we paid for nothing because it didnt fix our problem. We shouldnt have paid for this part to be replaced when it did nothing to fix the problem. I did mention when I talked to the person setting up the service that we may need a new furnace. I feel they owe us our money back.

They came the first time because our furnace went out. They replaced the gas valve because that was apparently the problem. After a couple weeks, the furnace died again. They said to replace it. Got a second opinion, they said the mother board was bad and has been for awhile. The tech from better home wouldnt tell us what was wrong and why it died again. The mother board was causing the gas valve not to work. They charged us over $600 to replace a part not needed. The part that is really frustrating is after talking to Chad, the manager, he said he would look into it. He never called back. They seem to be avoiding the problem because they know they are in the wrong.

Had a really great experience with Ryan during our tune-up. He clearly explained everything about our furnace and made shared some thoughts on what else we could be doing without being salesy or pushy in any way. Weve used them in the past and will continue using their services moving forward!

Better Home Heating installed a new high-efficiency boiler for our hydronic heating system back in 2006. We chose them because their service techs seemed to know hot water systems better than others. We had trouble-free heating for about ten years, then our boiler stopped firing reliably... we didnt realize an annual cleaning/servicing was recommended, and we had never had this work performed. We paid the price for that with a few service calls over the past couple years to get things back on track, but their responsiveness has truly been fantastic every time. We have worked with Brett and Al, and found them to be friendly and knowledgeable. Last week Al arrived within 45 minutes, diagnosed the issue quickly, and fixed it for a very reasonable price. Im confident that our boiler is working like new again.

We have had a Trane Clear-Air filter system installed, a Trane furnace, and a new Trane AC unit just installed. We have had a great experience with this company every time we call them. They have been upfront with us each time. Chad has been great to work with.

The tech was super helpful & knew what was wrong right away. It was a quick fix & I was so happy to have heat back. Later the same day the technician contacted me to make sure everything was still running well, which I really appreciated. Better Home Heatings and Air Conditionings knows better when it employee, Al Barbin replaced my air filter without my permission or inform me and charged $60.61 for it plus the service call fee $74.95. Testing, repairing, cleaning or replacing of any part never in the talk and I never want them to perform these services from the beginning. All I want Better Home Heatings and Air Conditionings to do is just specifically inspect my heat Exchanger, to see whether the previous guy from A & BE Heatings actually did the work/replace with new one, two weeks earlier. A & BE Heatings claimed to have replaced my heat Exchanger with new one and the guy did the work got it done with just one hand. It took him three hours and charged me exactly $400.00 for it. So, with this in mind, his work seem not trust worthy due to the physical nature of tasks required for the work to be done properly. Therefore, I decided to have someone else to take a look at it, just to make sure it was replaced with new one and installed properly. Thats how I ended up calling Better Home Heatings and Air Conditionings. Al Barbin from Better Home is scheduled to physically check my heat Exchanger to see if, in fact was replaced with new one by A & BE Heatings. Whether Al Barbin did the checking or not, there was nothing written in his report. He then went on and replaced my air filter with a simple one, charged me for $60.61, THE WORK HE WAS NEVER ASKED TO DO. A good example would be like, when I asked a mechanic to replace two rear tires on my vehicle but he went on and replacing all four tires without letting me know what is wrong with them and charged me $1,200.00 dollars for it instead of $400. The air filter replacement by Al Barbin was flaws. His boss, Chad witness that on July 31, 2018 at 5:25 PM. The air filter was not placed in a proper position in the fitting. A good portion on one corner of the filter was damaged, badly wrinkled. Installation date was never written on it.I view this kind of work or practice as being dishonest, being disrespectful, if not stealing, and taking the opportunity to take advantage of someone, who Better Home Heatings views as a soft target to make extra money. I ask Al Barbin with very specific questions about why he did the filter replacement without just letting me know. He cant give me an honest answer and hangs up on me.Al Barbin and Better Home Heatings and Air Conditionings know better! This type of dirty work ethic should never, ever had happened to me or any one in any community!Imagine if Better Home Heatings and Air Conditionings have done this to 100, 500 or 5000 families? Would it be a crime? Discrimination? Corrupting home owners for propfit?

Our service call from Al was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, and worked through the problems until he solved our issue with our furnace and thermostat.

Receptionist and Technician were prompt in getting an appointment set up, getting the problem fixed and keeping me, the landlord, updated.
