Great place! Locally owned! I really liked that I explained to them that my car was a lease and that I just needed new tires till the lease ends and they didnt try and sell me tires I didnt need. He was honest and said that if I am not keeping the car then I could go with less expensive tires. They were not trying to sell me tires I did not need. Highly recommend for their honesty!!

Helpful staff. Went over choices of tires and prices. Prices were a better value then other places i looked for tires. After the tires were installed went over the warranty in detail. Highly recommended if your looking for tires.

I was shopping around for some tires and after a few phone calls to various shops I choose Economy Tire & Brake mainly because of how friendly, professional and eager to help the manager (Nick) was. I needed to visit this shop twice in two weeks and both times I received nothing short of excellent service. The first time I needed a tire for my Audi. Since those tires are not readily available, Nick went out of his way to get it as soon as possible. He made communication very easy, he responded to my texts quickly and kept me updated. The second time around they changed 4 tires on my other car. The mechanics did an excellent job . The whole process took less than an hour. Both times they went above and beyond for me .

Josh and his team gave me the best service I could have asked for. Very respectful people and true craftsmen of their trade. I was very impressed how Josh and his team helped me. They even saved me money and pointed out that I didnt need to buy a new rim. Definitely will be going back and making sure I spread the word about their impeccable service. Thanks again.

Went there on the day of the big snowstorm of 2020 Paul took me right in and swapped my summer tires for my snow tires, I didnt even buy them there.. But will be seeing Paul for all my tire needs from now on.. Great Job!

Drove in with my tire leaking almost flat and they wouldnt plug it told me to come back 4 hrs later. My tire was flat at this point. Thx alot guys Ill never be back. Went to Monroe up the st and they plugged it right away.

Driving back to nyc blew a tire lucky I was passing there exit and they was right off it too fast no bull and fix me up and got me outta there in 30 min if that !

I went there to fix a problem with my valve stem. The manager was friendly and helpful, and the mechanic had the stem replaced in less than 15 minutes. He then balanced the air pressure in all four tires. It was a very pleasant experience.

I’ve owned cars for almost 40 years, although I’ve had good experiences, this was by far the best. Not always easy to find businesses you can trust 100% and this is one of them!!

Great staff and the service was amazing

I will admit I find better prices on tires elsewhere, BUT, I have never found any issues with the service. They go out of there way to get you in when you cant wait. Mechanical repairs have all gone well. I am NOT easy to deal with, yet I never had any issues with their attitude.Going there today to get an Interstate battery for my 30 year old van and I bet they have one IN STOCK!

After doing some comparison shopping I came here first for a tire repair and an estimate, then new tires. I was very impressed with the timeliness of service, knowledge, and friendliness of the service manager. I thought I had a problem 2 days later and he went above and beyond to make sure it wasnt an issue related to the tire installation.

Courteous and professional staff. Fast tire service. I stopped in here without an appointment to get a tire mounted, balanced, and installed. Waiting area has free WiFi. I was out in under 30 min. Would definitely use again.

Went shopping around to compare prices and I could not be happier with the people at tire pro, they are very respectful and polite and they did NOT try to rip me off like the people at Town Fair Tire that told me that I needed new tires because it was vibrating in the front. When I came to see them here they told me that I still have a while before I need new tires that all I need is a balance of the tires and that saved me alot of money. They will always get my business and I drive all the way from West Haven to see them !

The owner is a small little guy who is very bitter and mean . He acts like he is doing you a favor, you are wasting his time buying from him and is very temperamental...emphasis on mental .All I wanted was 2 front tires. He made it so difficult to deal with; it was like pulling teeth . He is very curt, no customer service skills and the place is overpriced compared to other venues. First and last time here. You have been given some good advice not to cater this place.

I want to support local business. This is the main reason I went to this tire shop. At first, the guy at the counter, who is not the owner, seemed very knowledgeable and nice. I bought 4 Cooper tires from him. The tires have 45 days returned guarantee by Cooper. I now called him back and inquired about the warranty because I am not happy the way the tires handle when turning corners. The same guy at the counter was sarcastic and rude. The way he spoke to me over the phone totally changed my opinion about him and about the business. I called back on February 2nd and the same guy refused to explain to me the Cooper warranty. He also told me that he was not happy with the review I wrote. He wanted me to come to the shop in person so we could talk. I am not sure what he meant by talk. He spoke to me in a very threatening and hostile matter, so I do not feel it is safe to go back to the store. I have a total of 3 cars but I will never go back there. Next time I need tires I will go where I should have gone in the first place, Costco. Costco is a place that treats you fairly and respectfully always. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Yo, I called them up real late on a saturday, like, 30 minutes before they closed. I showed up maybe 3 minutes after closing time, and Paul, who I can only assume is the manager took care of my tire change. Incredibly great service, better-than-walmart prices, took about 10-15 minutes, I just sat and relaxed for a bit. Cant wait to get another flat so I can give these guys more money.

Brought my vehicle in there for a tire repair. The guy at the counter was rude and obnoxious to begin with. He charged me 20 to plug a tire and remove fix a flat that I had put in the tireHe said wouldnt have to worry about the tire after it was fixed. 2 days after the repair my tire was leaking fix a flat through the plug. Had to take to town fair tire where the said they no longer practice the type of fix he did on my tire as it was a temp hold. They charged me $4.00 for a patch and tire has been fine sinceThe guy I spoke with I believe to be the owner. He told me Im nasty but fact is if you are in need of a tire repair this shop is incompetent

Bought tires from them about a year ago that they recommended and they also did some work that was needed at the time i bought my tires and besides a slow leak i had on one of the tires which they immediately handled at no charge, i have had no problems... very informative and cool person to talk to,.. Also the company i work for deal with them and we have had no problems at all...

Fair and honest pricing

I was a fool. I traveled for years to Townfair tire. Wallingford, Stratford, Norwalk sitting at those locations for considerable amounts of time thinking i was getting the best deal/service when all along within my own backyard was this local gem. Naugatuck Tire is a service oriented lically owned business. They sell new and used tires and their prices are quite competitive. What they dont have im stock, theyll order quickly. Every time Ive been there, its been in and out. The waiting area has free wifi.

If there was a choice for zero star thats what i would choose, this place needs an upgrade on have a computer system that saves the clients services like anywhere elses have, if you lose your receipt you dont have no proof of any service that you did in this place, we arent in the Freddie flintstone era, come on, i gave this guys my business cause theyre local, i bought 4 new tires on the beginning of the year and theyre already more than halfway gone with only 20000 miles, i probably gonna have to change it again (NOT HERE) before winter comes, 50000 miles warranty? Not on this place, please do yourself a favor, go to townfair tire, wallmart, cotsco, anywhere else but here.

Great service went to get a screw removed found out tire was bad on the inside quick service having a new tire put on oddball size so they have to get it from the warehouse but going to be done same day compared to other places that have you have to wait until next day

Either these people know nothing about cars or they screwed me over on purpose. I would assume its the latter. They snapped one of my wheel studs in half and tried to blame it on AAA. And in the same appointment they replaced one tire on my AWD vehicle and failed to let me know that with an AWD vehicle I need all tires to be exactly the same otherwise I can damage my power train and transmission. I had driven around for weeks before finally being notified that Im damaging my car because of what they did. I will not be returning to this business and I will share this story with whoever possible.
