Im the kind of person that needs accountability, consistency, and structure to be successful in my workouts. This gym has all of that. It has morning and evening classes, so no excuses not to go. The trainers are super helpful and patient, even when your new to the exercises or super uncoordinated. If I workout by myself, I tend to slack off if I get tired or it gets too hard but here its such a motivating and encouraging environment that I want to keep going even when Im tired. When I leave after the hour, Im tired but feel good. Each exercise is custom to you and where youre at fitness wise and strength wise. This is just a great place to workout.
Excellent workout for every level of fitness. Strength Camp Nashville offers a variety of strength, conditioning and general fitness workouts. I played college football, and this workout kicks my butt every time!

I moved to the area this summer, and started Strength Camp (at the urging of another member) about a week ago. I love the camaraderie and “structure” in each session! The initial trial run was a great way to ease into things but I will plan to keep it up once the promo has expired. I have more energy even though I am working harder than I could on my own. It’s been a highlight for me going on an almost-daily basis & the group has been super respectful of the risks around the pandemic. All gear is thoroughly cleaned after each workout. Definitely appreciate the connection to the wider community as well with the regular donations to Nashville Rescue Mission.
Being part of strength camp Nashville has been a life changing experience for me. They push you and always make you accountable in and outside of the gym. Not only has the workout helped me physically but also mentally. So far Ive become more fit and i now make healthier life choices.

I had the opportunity to visit with Jake after he had opened and I am truly happy that I did. His passion for fitness and his dedications to each one of his members is something like I have never seen. He understands all aspects of the human body and how to target specific areas. He will be able to figure out exactly what you need and train you accordingly. I have seen the progress he has made with a few of his members over the last few months and it is great! I just started here and i absolutely love it already! I am someone who doesnt have much knowledge about fitness and the past two weeks have been great learning a lot! I do not have an athletic background, so gyms (especially group settings) have always been a bit intimidating to me... but Jake always explains everything as if it was the first time for everyone.Great coaching. Best investment I made in my physical fitness was becoming a member. Having a coach has taken my cardio endurance and strength to a higher level than training on my own over the past years.
Okay, so a little background on me to begin with. I’m a 115 pound small dude, was into cross country when I was younger, and got into the smoking/partying phase. When I started I was still skinny, but not in good shape. I had paid for a gym membership before, but like majority of people keeping up with it. The coach there made me feel completely at ease, when usually I feel out of place in situations like that. He managed to push me to the point where a few times I had to take a breather and chug a couple bottles of water, but they were always cool about if you need a break just step off and regain yourself. The next morning I’d wake up sore as ever, but feeling great at myself. I won’t lie, there’s no frills or gimmicks to get you in. This isn’t planet fitness trying to get you in to walk on a treadmill and eat pizza once a week. You keep this up on a pretty consistent basis and you will see results. I couldn’t recommend the overall attitude, and the quality of the workout any more than I already have. Even the fellow guys working if they saw me struggling would give me pointers on top of the trainers doing the same. Definitely 10 out of 10.
After playing sports in high school, I had been looking for an athletic experience where I could build strength as well as have a team atmosphere for a long time. Strength Camp is exactly what I had been looking for! Jake is incredibly knowledgeable and tailors the workouts to all skill levels from beginners to those have been power lifting for years.If you’re looking for a full athletic experience where the workouts are never boring, this is definitely the gym for you!

Working out at Strength Camp has been an amazing and fulfilling experience! I have consistently worked out most of my life and will work pretty hard most of the time, but having a plan on the wall each day and Jake coaching, pushing, encouraging me everyday helps me to work out harder than I thought I could, even when I feel like taking it easy. There is nothing like it!

I showed up to Strength Camp Nashville in winter 2019 with a goal in mind to get selected and prepare for Officer Candidate School in the United States Marine Corps. Coach Jake took the time to fully understand the requirements and what areas I needed to improve. He genuinely cared about my goal, and he encouraged me and pushed me throughout the entire process. After 5 months of great work at Strength Camp Nashville, I got selected and was well prepared for the physical and mental rigors of OCS and the follow-on Marine Corps schools. Furthermore, Strength Camp Nashville is a family. To this day, I keep in touch with Coach Jake, and he is always more than willing to help me with workout ideas for my Marines, etc. I HIGHLY recommend Strength Camp Nashville.
I’ve tried other gyms but strength camp has given me my best experience yet. The coaches are very motivating and encouraging. Before joining the Strength Camp Nashville. I knew from day 1 this was home. This training facility is a true definition of a judgment free zone; that will make you work for your results but let you have fun while working out. This is absolutely one of the best gyms I have ever worked out at. Jake is a great coach. He Goes the extra mile to make sure that we reach our goals. Jake and the other members of the gym very supportive and encouraging. This is the place for beginner and the most advanced gym goer.
Training at strength camp has been a huge blessing for me. I was able to develop a level of discipline and commitment to my goals that I never would have been capable of on my own. I love how energetic and attentive Coach Jake is during each workout! I definitely feel like he genuinely cares about each person’s continuing improvement. The workouts are certainly challenging, but the supportive environment helps get me through and keeps me coming back!
Where do I start! Jake is absolutely amazing along with the other coaches! Hes super supportive and will NOT let you quit no matter what. The gym is medium size yet intimate enough where you can still experience a one-on-one workout like youd get with a PT. Definitely check us out!

I learned about Strength Camp from someone I respect and love their transition. When I first arrived, I was able to experience the class and then after my first class, I was given a full scope of what the gym provided. From beginning to end, I felt a part of a family and not just a gym. As I continued to go, I saw the same happen for each new person. Visited SCN while I was home seeing family for the holidays. Gym is dope and has a bunch of high quality brand new gear. Coach Jake is also super knowledgeable about about the science behind reaching your goals. People with all levels of experience and fitness levels can train here, and you’ll probably learn something, too.
I previously attended this gym for approximately 9 months after seeing the reviews on Facebook.I made an appointment and realized this was different from most gyms in how you work out.There is personal training within the group dynamic and a complete timed one hour class six days a week.I had to miss a few work outs due to my schedule,but got back in the rhythm of getting a full workout quickly to take advantage of the classes offered.You can learn a lot about what you can achieveif you attend this gym on a regular basis.
After a severe weightlifting injury years ago, getting back in the gym was something I never thought I could mentally do again. If you are someone who struggles or has a history with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, etc. for whatever reason....there are a million ways to start getting better and, when you’re ready, you also need to get your heart beating in the right frame of mind. Exercise is essential to that foundation. Strength camp is that place for it. Come here. Work hard. Breathe. Watch yourself grow. And give yourself your best shot at the life you want. You can stop being afraid. And you deserve that. So glad I found this place and used it as an opportunity to be more present and conquer my fears. The coaching and group setting make it possible. The work outs are challenging & the trainer is amazing. He explains everything so you dont get injured. The atmosphere is welcoming, no matter fitness level, age, etc. I would give many more stars if they were available.

Strength Camp Nashville is a wonderful gym with experienced trainers that create a one of a kind program to help everyone reach their goals. SCN really pushed me to be a better version of myself. Ive had an orthopedic limitation all this time, but Coach Jake has helped me adapt any exercise to work with my abilities since day one. Also, I had never seriously tried weight lifting/training before, and 5 months later Ive become a huge fan of it! I love the workouts and the amazing community that comes with them! Overall its a wonderful place to spend an hour of your day :)

Never had a better workout.Ive been working out 5-6 days per week for the past 9 years. With Coach Jakes programming, I was able to get more mobile, faster, better cardio & much stronger than I ever had in the past. Jake is a great trainer! He focuses on form and individual growth instead of just writing a workout on the board and making you follow it. He can also help with tailoring workouts to any age or ailment someone has. Gives great nutritional advice as well! Definitely recommend if you want personal training in a community atmosphere.

I’ve had just a small amount of training when it comes to weightlifting. When I came to my first class at Strength Camp it immediately surpassed my expectations. Jake spends one on one time with each of us during the workout, encouraging us to push ourselves while giving us constant reminders regarding our form. The goals set are tailored specifically for each person. The cardio part of the workout and stretching portions also have been of great benefit and in a short time I’ve noticed that I have made gains when it comes to flexibility and coordination. It is definitely community based and you will find regular encouragement from the other members who are all supportive of each other. Without hesitation I give Strength Camp five stars. No matter your age (I’m 56) you will find a training program at Strength Camp Nashville that will help you meet your fitness goals.I wanted to update my review here. Due to my work schedule and since I have moved I’m not able to attend Strength Camp like I did before. I stand by what I said before. You will not find a gym that comes close to the one on one motivation and direction for getting in shape. When you find a place like this you want to tell other people about it. If you’re in the Nashville area I can’t recommend this place to highly. Jake goes above and beyond in motivating each person to be their best.

Ive been a member at Strength Camp for a few months now and am very impressed. Jake is a very personable trainer and makes sure to tailor the workouts accordingly with your fitness level, injuries, etc. Really great community and personalization. The workouts themselves are fantastic. Coming from a purely bootcamp background, there was an adjustment to the Structure, Strength, Conditioning regimen that Strength Camp uses, but after that adjustment, Im 100% on board. Highly recommend this place!

The Strength Camp is exactly what its called!Not just a gym that you go to lose weight but a place thats made to make you stronger. I found out the difference between the two after training with Coach Jake. I love everything about this place down to the scheduled times and how we would all work together no matter what shape or size you are no matter what level of fitness Coach Jake created the Dopest circuit that allows us all to work together. Ive never worked with a coach thats as cool and calm but still assertive about you becoming the strongest version of yourself. Ive never wanted to feel the soreness of a workout before but if Iook forward to it these days it feels good afterwards to know Ive pushed myself to do things I never imagined myself doing. I most definitely never thought about doing bench presses or any dead lifts and actually enjoy it.The best joy is feeling like youre not strong enough or not experienced enough and come in and see an elderly woman going harder than some men in the gym. That make you leave all your excuses at the door a get ready to be the strongest version of yourself. Coach Jake most definitely is the Best Trainer hands down and has the build of a deer but strong as a ox. Im sorry but I hate to see trainers with muscles so big it like theyre gonna pop its kinda intimidating.
