These last few weeks Ive been working with Blake whos with Dani D. Fitness. If someone is looking to get started Id say working with them is a great way to go. Blake is very encouraging, realistic and knowledgeable about what he does. The workouts are killer but theyre aimed so that you can improve. I really appreciate that they practice body acceptance.The gym is spacious and has a lot of equipment to use which is great and makes the workouts that much more enjoyable.
Melissa Haynes is the best! She put my faith back in the reliability of a personal trainer. She always fills you with positivity and encouragement. She also has no problem modifying certain workouts to best fit your comfort and strength level without making you feel bad about it, which I greatly appreciate! The gym is also awesome! Great, clean space to work out in with tons of weight/workout options and such nice people!
I have been going to Next Level Fitness for a few months. Dallas is my trainer and she is amazing. I was looking for someone who specializes in women only and she has been awesome. I already see results. The gym is clean, friendly and not at all intimidating. The trainers are like family to each other and not competitive. They are respectful of each others space and I love that the gym is privately owned by a great couple. I feel good about supporting a small business and hard working people.
Ive been training with Secoy Reeves for 7 months now and...wow!...he has changed my life! He has taught me that its not just a diet and exercise but that its a lifestyle. He has helped me become healthier physically and mentally. Together we set goals and crush them! Everyday I become stronger, have more energy, Im more focused, and Im living a healthier lifestyle for myself and my family. All the trainers here are positive and treat everyone like family! We had such an amazing experience with Dani at Next Level. I do not have a lot of weight lifting experience and Dani made me feel completely comfortable at the weight rack. Along with being a GREAT encouragement, she was also so easy to talk with which made my hour spent with her fly by.My friend who also joined us has a bit more experience with heavier weights and Dani accommodated us both perfectly!Dani is such an inspiring and encouraging women, Will be returning! :)
I’ve been training here with Angela McCuiston for almost 2 years. I came in with several injuries and she’s helped me to find ways to work around and overcome them. I’m very happy with the progress we’ve made together and with the care she puts into crafting a plan that addresses my specific workout needs.
Next Level Fitness is the place to be! I have been working out here for the last 4 years with Steven and cant say enough about the gym. There is a variety of equipment and it is always clean. If you have to run to work after, the bathroom/showers are an added perk. Steven is hands down the best personal trainer I have ever used. Very knowledgeable about not only exercises but also mobility and mechanics. He really breaks it down before throwing you into something you might not be ready for.
I can’t recommend training with Dani D. Fitness here enough! The gym is large and has a good assortment of equipment so your workouts are different every week. Dani is positive and uplifting and always encourages you when you think you can’t do something. She is a great communicator and checks in with you during the week and is super responsive if ever have any questions. The work outs are tough but I always leave feeling better about myself and what my body is capable of! Love your body throughout as Dani would say!!
Ive been training with Melissa Hayes twice a week and I love it! She pays very close attention to my form and has pointed out issues I didnt even realize I had. She works with what my body can do and pushes just enough. Ive done a different set of workouts each session which keeps it interesting. And theres no time wasted, you really get your moneys worth. The gym is clean and theres always plenty of space to workout. The other trainers are nice too. Over all great gym!

Fitness, and it’s been the best thing that’s every happened. I’m the healthiest and strongest I’ve been in years. Everyone in the gym is always so kind and cheerful. And the gym is always spotless. Next Level has everything you need in gym, but you can find that in a lot of places. Where Next Level sets itself apart is the atmosphere. Take it from me, there are a thousand reasons why individual attention is not for you or isn’t necessary, I felt the same way. That’s where Earwood Fitness stepped in and showed me that an individualized plan matters. More importantly for me, it took the pressure off I felt at other gyms or with other classes. At Next Level it is about what is best for you and what you want for yourself regardless of the trainer (although Steven is easily the best).
I had a great experience training with Steven Earwood at Next Level Fitness! This man knows fitness and is an incredible personal trainer! He is incredibly patient with his clients and makes sure to create a workout program that is specifically designed for each individual client. I have been training at Next Level with Dani Dyer for almost two years now, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best decisions that I have made for myself! I’ve shed about 50 pounds so far, and I’m becoming stronger all the time. Committing to an exercise routine isn’t easy, but Dani became my secret weapon- keeping me motivated, accountable, challenging me always (but never throwing more at me than I can handle!) Dani firmly believes in acceptance of bodies all shapes and sizes, that we are all beautiful as we are - she’s inspired me to ditch the self criticism, to be gentle and mindful when I appraise myself in the mirror. I am truly becoming comfortable in my own skin, and it feels fantastic! The atmosphere at next level is ideal, very relaxed and comfortable. Everything is kept very clean, and it’s a lot of fun bopping around the gym to use all the various equipment! 10/10
Stephen is the best and so is this facility! Such good vibes. I saw results working out with him extremely fast! He has such a wonderful personality and cares about his clients. I would 100% recommend this place and this trainer.
I have been working with Steven Earwood for a couple years now. He is a great trainer. He is great at customizing a workout that fits your goals and knows how to identify and rectify you’re weaknesses. Constantly pushes you in and out of the gym to make sure you’re staying the course for your goals. When you go to workout here you’ll most likely interact with some of the other trainers too. They are all really nice and an overall hoot. There’s no judging at this gym. Just make sure when you step in the building you come to work!
I started personal training sessions with Steven Earwood at Next Level Fitness about a month ago, and I cant say enough about what a great experience its been!Steven is excellent- hes incredibly knowledgeable, detailed and a lot of fun. I get so much out of each session- not only am I being pushed and working hard, but Im learning how to do things with proper form (so important) & actually enjoying it! The sessions fly by and I always leave feeling accomplished and energized.The atmosphere at Next Level is really friendly and welcoming. I trained with Stephen at NLF and cant say enough good things about him and the gym itself. I had specific goals I wanted to achieve and Stephen helped me get there, the gym has everything and then some to get the workout you are looking for. It was never super busy, they had their scheduling down perfectly, so you werent stepping over each other or waiting on machines. I would highly recommend working out at this gym with a trainer!

The energy is great, but never too crowded, and allows a perfect environment for all of my clients no matter what their goal.
I started training with Dallas a few months ago, it was the best decision I couldve made for the end of the year. Not only has Dallas helped me grow physically with achieving personal goals, but shes also helped me gain more confidence within myself while pushing me. I was nervous to start working out again because it had been a hot minute since I had a really put in a significant amount of effort, but Dallas made me feel right at home and like I could really accomplish anything when it came to a work out. The motivation that she gives her clients is Some thing that every personal trainer should take note of. Not only did I am a year gaining that confidence I have been searching for but I also gained a new friend and I couldnt be happier about either of those things.
This personal training is in a great location with great trainers. Personally, I train with the amazing Dani D (if you havent looked her up, highly recommend), but this entire gym and the trainers are incredibly friendly and encouraging. Definitely check it out and Dani D Fitness as well!
I enjoy and look forward to my work outs at Next Level Fitness with Nathaniel Edman. The gym is a great place to work out. It’s spacious and always very clean. Nate’s friendly but firm demeanor encourage me to meet my goals and go further with my work outs then I ever imagined. He is very good with pushing for big picture end results as well as taking care as to avoid any injury. I have worked with Nate for almost 2 years and am very pleased with my progress.
Ladies!! I know youve been to gyms where the ladies lounge is gross. Yes, Im judging. Anyone can buy fitness equipment and call it a gym. Not only do they have everything you would ever need for a workout, they take care of their gym equipment and they take care of the ladies lounge. I would not be afraid to take a shower in there. That attention to detail is what makes this place the top quality fitness studio it is.When Dani D told me she was moving her business to Next Level I admit I was a little worried. I knew she had never steered me wrong before so I followed her down there. It isnt as convenient for me but training with Dani is totally worth it and the lounge is clean!
This facility is well kept and always clean. The trainers here are amazing. My trainer, Dallas Stephens, always goes above and beyond to make sure I meet my fitness goals. She tailors her approach to each clients needs while taking into consideration any limitations. She offers a variety of skills including but not limited to nutritional help and post workout recovery methods. Anyone in the gym can see she is truly passionate about each client and makes everyone feel comforted and safe while working with her.
Ive been training here for 3 years and highly recommend the trainers and the facility. Lee Maasen is my trainer and I have come to know the owner, Jack Haynes. As an professional in late career, its most important to me have a trainer who is safety conscious and who is willing to address the goals I set for myself, adjust as necessary, and help me prevent injury. Its all about helping me prolong my ability to practice medicine with a great quality of professional life. The gym has a shower and dressing area for those of us who work and need to leave straight from the facility. Its really convenient for those working in Midtown. Highly recommend.
I’ve been training with Dani Dyer at Next Level for about 6 months and honestly can’t say enough good things. Dani herself is great and truly listens to your goals and questions so that you can create a regimen that suits those goals and is realistic for your lifestyle. Next Level is truly another level of personal training in Nashville. I started training with Steven Earwood at the beginning of 2021 and ended up renewing my package for more training sessions. I have been around athletics and trainers by whole life but have never had the in-depth knowledge of personal training that Steven bestows on every work-out. With many trainers, you will find yourself doing many of the same exercises after every so many sessions. This is not the case with Steven which exudes in his experience and desire to make you be you achieve your true potential.
I had the pleasure of working with Lee Maasen! He is so much fun to train with for many reasons. He is so knowledgeable, keeps you accountable & and will push you out of your comfort zone to reach your goals. Somehow you even end up thanking him for pushing you that extra mile. Next level fitness also is very spacious clean and has plenty of equipment for everyone to use. Great place to train at!!!
Next Level Fitness made me feel welcome from the first time I visited! Everyone is so friendly and the facility is wonderful! I have been training with Nate Edman for a few months and I can’t say enough good things about him! It’s hard to find a trainer who is motivating, reliable, dependent, and always changing up the workout... he is definitely all of these things! Nate always keeps in mind the goals you came to him with and that’s so important! Nate is helping me work towards my wedding goals even with an unexpected knee injury thrown in there... we haven’t missed a beat! I would definitely really recommend him and Next Level Fitness to anyone I know!
Ive been working out with Steven at Next Level Fitness for about a month now and already feel an increase in strength and mobility. Very custom workouts to achieve the goals that you want in a nice and friendly environment. Good balance of motivation and humor. Although you may want to curse him out after a few sets of Nordic Hamstring Curls youll thank him in the end.

Ive been working out at Next Level for the last three years. It is a great environment with many highly skilled, personable personal trainers. To work out here you have to be with a personal trainer so its never too crowded. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming to each other no matter where you come from or where you are in your fitness journey.
Next Level is the first gym Ive ever really felt comfortable in. It’s a great facility and because its a training only gym, the number of people working out at one time is kept low so it never feels crowded. Ive been training over 2 years here with Steven Earwood and I couldn’t have selected a better trainer. Steven met with me initially to discuss why I wanted a personal trainer and what my goals were so he could understand where I was coming from and help me get to where I wanted to be. We did an initial physical assessment and every 12 sessions, we do a re-assessment to track my progress. Ive been able to reach several goals over the past 2 years with Steven, including dropping 35+ pounds. I couldn’t recommend Steven or Next Level enough. All of the other trainers are great too and have been encouraging and supportive throughout my journey.
Dallas is an amazing trainer who is knowledgeable and excited to train every time I see her! She’s able to quickly modify exercises to address any chronic or new injuries or just the fact that I have no upper body strength. She’s constantly introducing variety to keep things interesting and challenging. The gym itself is really clean and spacious with lots of equipment including cardio machines if you want to show up early and warm up.

I hadnt worked out in years and was ready for something new, and was referred by a friend to meet with Lee Maasen a personal trainer at Next Level Fitness. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised at how large it was on the inside, the spacing between the equipment and the whole positive vibe of the facility. I have been at Next Level for a little over a year now and I have to say that my experience has been extremely positive. Lee and the other trainers Ive interacted with have always been patient, positive and motivating to me. I absolutely love working out at Next Level with Lee. He’s super creative in terms of coming up with novel exercises every time. This really makes the gym time more fun and motivates me. My old trainer at another gym just let me do the same thing over and over again. And I started getting bored after a few weeks. However, training with Lee, I can always experience new, cool things that I saw other people do in my old gyms. I really enjoy this exciting training with Lee because my body is shocked and challenged every time! If you want to have a fun workout, hit him up!

I have enjoyed my time at Next Level Fitness becoming a stronger and healthier me. I worked before the pandemic anywhere from 50-80 hour weeks and worked in about 3-4 jobs per week/month. I had always had physical issues and injuries and finally got tired of just dealing with them on my own. I saw an advertisement from a personal trainer there by the name of Angela McCusiton for Music Strong. For the tasks that I do at my church and in the music industry, I knew I needed to find someone who understood what I did and tailored the workouts to get me out of the rut I had been in. With encouragement from Angela and my consistency in coming weekly for 30 minutes, I am seeing great improvements in my health and physical strength. I started going to NLF a few months ago as a supplement to exercising at other local gyms. The gym is spacious, organized, and kept very clean. You check your own temperature at the door, the equipment is regularly being sanitized, and the sheer size of the gym allows for social distancing. Parking is easy and plentiful. There is a large variety of equipment allowing for each workout to be different. Steven Earwood is an incredible trainer whom Id strongly recommend. Not only are his workouts creative, but he understands and teaches the importance of good form, human anatomy, and stretching/mobility work. Since working out with him, not only has my form improved but Ive felt fewer aches and pains that I normally felt during and after workouts. He definitely gets results. Next Level Fitness has been an awesome addition to my exercise regimen.
Steven was my trainer consistently for about three months. The first time I met with him he high-fived me, talked about my goals, and we got right into it. Every session was different. He has an arsenal of knowledge that goes well beyond any “at home” exercise program. If you want results, hire Steven. Not only is he serious when it comes to your time with him but he is also personable, goofy and knows how to make you laugh! (Watch out for his impromptu dance moves). I highly recommend Steven if you are looking for more than just a workout but an all-inclusive health experience. He’ll give you nutritional support along with progress updates and goals to work toward. Oh, and RESULTS! I was trending exactly as he said I would. It’s also very worth nothing that NLF and the WHOLE Staff are awesome. Everyone makes you feel like family—nicknames and all. It’s a clean, friendly, comfortable environment. Seriously... Steven is the bomb and you will not regret hiring him as your trainer!

I began training at Next Level Fitness when I teamed up with my coach Lee Maasen about 6 weeks ago. The facility is clean, safe, easily accessible, and is full of great supportive energy! The gym itself is very open and spacious with a wide variety of equipment. The fact that it is a personal training gym only makes me feel more comfortable utilizing the gym. With Covid, I feel safe utilizing the gym. Highly recommend!
I started working with Melissa a month ago and couldn’t be happier. She has created a training plan that not only pushes me to get the results I’m looking for but is also fun to workout with. She has met me right where I was physically and pushing me to The Next Level!
Lee is a great trainer! He helped me strengthen my shoulders which allowed me to workout more often with less pain in them. He has great programming for hand balancing & functional strength improvements.

Ive been training at Next Level for a while now and have had nothing but positive experiences. The space is large, clean, always well-maintained, and they have some great equipment. Everyone there is great and there is always a fun sense of friendship throughout the building.My trainer (Steven Earwood) is awesome and has helped me get over many fitness hurdles that have troubled me over the years. He always manages to keep workouts interesting and intense. I can easily say Ive never felt any of our sessions were repetitive as he always finds crazy ways to mix it up just as Im getting a little too comfortable. Even on the days where I am not in the mood to be at the gym, I ALWAYS leave glad that I came, and I can directly thank Steven for that.All of the other trainers are great, as well, each friendly and motivating even though Im not their client.Ive met some great people at NLF and have made some real friendships.
Ive been a personal trainer for over 25 years. And Ive been a regular gym-goes for more than 30 years. Having experienced many fitness facilities, I can tell you with great confidence that Next Level Fitness is top notch. It is BY FAR the most spacious and best equipped personal training studio I have ever seen. And the broad spectrum of training specialty that is there is really something to behold. If there is a training style, there is a trainer there that specializes in it. This place is filled with so much knowledge and positive energy. The clients and trainers combined really are a family...a community. And Im blessed to be a part of it.
As a physician and surgeon I understand the importance of taking care of your body. I’ve been training at Next Level Fitness for over 4 years. The trainers provide customized personal attention, fitting the regimen to the needs of the individual. It’s not simply about lifting weights or cardio. The exercise routines they design serve to improve flexibility, strength, and endurance, while being keenly aware of the individual’s strengths and weaknesses, placing safety as the utmost priority. I recommend them strongly.
Dani D and Blake are amazing trainers that really know what they’re talking about ! Blake was so much fun to workout with, but he kicked my butt! They make working out fun and empowering, highly recommend!!

I attend NLF to train with Dani Dyer (DDF Fitness). The gym has a great variety of equipment to work with and it’s perfect for personal training sessions with the way areas are spaced out. Dani is encouraging and always motivates you to train hard. She also makes herself available for any questions and check in throughout the week!
I’ve been training with Lee Maasen for awhile now and training with him has completely changed my life. Not only with where I want to be physically, but also mentally and spiritually. I consider him a holistic personal trainer. He individually tailors my workout and diet plan to fit ME and MY fitness goals. Lee is very knowledgeable about human body performance and optimal nutrition. I am a Physical Therapist and I know how to get people back to what they like to do but Lee knows how to take your fitness to the Next Level. No pun intended. Lee is also the most down to earth soul there is, but at the same time brings intensity and accountability. Next Level has an amazing gym set up that has everything you could ever need! Having coached in Los Angelas and few other facilities across the country I can say Next Level is the best. From the equipment to the coaches everything is top notch. I love the environment of the facility as it is very welcoming and warm...everyone is rooting for everyone to succeed in their goals both in fitness and in life.

I have been working out at Next Level Fitness gym for 4 years and 3 of those years have been with my trainer, Nathaniel Edman. I used to dread any type of workout and was actually intimated by gyms. Thankfully, Next Level Fitness has completely changed my outlook on fitness and now I look forward to working out!The massive gym is consistently spotless and they’ve taken all necessary precautions for Covid guidelines. Everyone is friendly and always makes it a point to say hello or cheer on your workout. I can honestly say I feel extremely comfortable working out in this judgement free gym.In addition to being my trainer, Nate has become a great friend over the years. He has such a positive outlook on life that he incorporates into workouts, and is always giving guidelines to live a healthier lifestyle. His good energy is contagious! I am a nurse on a unit that requires heavy lifting, and Nate has always chosen specific strength exercises that will help me not injure myself or my patients. Nate trains his clients with a motivational attitude that you can’t help but leave the gym both stronger, and happier.I couldn’t ever recommend a better trainer or gym!
