Never received service from this company. Only inquired. Decided I was going to give them a try and they never picked up my trash or delivered a garbage can. That was over 2 yrs ago and they still send me a bill every single month with no services provided.
Maybe the worst vendor ever. i mean ever. didnt show up several weeks in a row. unresponsive to messages. so i fire them. three weeks later a guy shows up. pitiful.
Hey, special thanks to Greys Disposal Co, who occasionally uses our back road out of Seven Oaks as their own personal dumping ground! These pics were taken in broad daylight, but weve also set up some trail cameras, so weve got some better pics to give to the town of Smyrna. Interesting that they stopped on the wrong side of the street, where all the dumping occurs (you can see the other side from the interstate).
Unfortunately, a company like this doesnt often get good reviews for doing their job well. Ive never had any issues with them...They pick up my trash on time and have always been very nice on the phone. Thanks for a job well done!
The ladies i talked to on the phone were super nice, but after a month since i set up trash service, they have not picked up on the day i was told in any of the weeks. Ive had to call to get them to come get it, which was 2 of the 4 weeks and on a saturday before it was picked up. Cancelling service, do not use
It’s been times when they skip picking up garbage and then overcharge after we pay ahead three months. I am done with this company if I could give negative stars I would and I asked for 2 cans because I deep clean and have a large family and still have not provided. Folks beware of this company. I am DONE!!!!!!!! I wish I read the reviews before I used them.
Promised trash pick but dont abide by it. I had an issue where I didnt get service for a month and then another issue where I didnt get service for over two weeks. When they finally came to pick up my trash, there was trash remaining in the bins and on the street of my community. Service is horrible.
Gray Disposal has the contract for our garbage removal and will not pick up our garbage and will not respond to our telephone calls. I do not recommend this company.
I use them for both mine and my neighbors trash pick up. Very fair pricing and great customer service. I had an issue this week, been using a year and first one, and Jennifer got me fixed right up!
I returned my trash can Dec of 2019 and they are still sending me bills . I know have a over 500 bill and have called and left many messages because I am not responsible for any of the bill. This company is so bad at responding and returning calls . Trying to get money for something I returned in 2019 they really need to stop this
Theyve refused to take my trash for 2 weeks. No explanation. They started skipping over me on my birthday OF ALL DAYS. Then, this week, AGAIN they skipped over me. The office lady ASSURED me they would come pick it up. Its almost 6PM and no pickup. I saw their truck 3 mins up the road earlier. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS they continued NOT to pick up my bin — despite being so close.They also trashed our sidewalk at the end of our block. Completely annoyed to walk out and see trash.Again, NOBODY came. I pay an extra $20 a month on my HOA bill for this service — or the lack thereof. This is utterly ridiculous.
Do not use this terrible company. I asked before I started services does everything have to be bagged. The answer was know two weeks into my service nothing was even picked up! I was told the manager would call me for 4 straight days nobody called except for the ignorant lady working the phone. They are terrible by every measurable metric. Avoid!
I go a few weeks sometimes without getting my trash taken out. I actually gave a call to the head office and they said my trash would be taken out today but I did not see them for a couple of more days. I do not understand why this is such an issue
I was forced to give them one star because the system wouldnt allow zero starts. They get NO STARS. Because they have no cart that goes from unit to unit to place the garbage bags in, their people are having to lift garbage can lids with one hand and collect all the garbage bags in the other hand...which means they do not put the top back on the garbage can...so when it rains you have gallons and gallons of water in your garbage can. Many gallons of water is very heavy to lift, especially for a woman who lives alone. Our HOA has called repeatedly to try and remedy the issue. They have not fixed the issue.
We have had Gray’s for our disposal service since 1988. They have always provided friendly service on time and even occasionally pick up an extra bag that won’t fit in the can. The men that come to our house are very personable and dont make a mess. The 4 stars are because I dont understand billing 3 months ahead, and they have twice in 30-plus years failed to credit me for the checks sent by my bank through online banking. Customer service people are very nice and have always remedied our problem quickly, though.
They do not pick up trash on the days that they are supposed to. I have had to call about this a few times. Currently I have an overflowing trash can on my curb because they did not pick up my trash on Wednesday like they were supposed to which is frowned upon in my neighborhood of course. The billing 3 months ahead is kind of irritating because it’s hard to keep up with what month youve paid or haven’t paid. It is true that the lady that answers the phone is very polite and helpful. Other than that this company is trash and I have cancelled my account with them.
Paid up for the next 4 months and they did not pick up my house for 3 weeks. Called multiple times and was told someone would come pick it up either that day or first thing the next morning. My neighbors that have them, I saw their cans empty so I know they were just skipping me. They claimed I didn’t put the can out in time....I left it at the mailbox for 3 weeks while they missed it. They claimed I didn’t bag my trash, but I had 7 bags on the ground and other falling out of the top of the can. I went them because their price was low but I can see that their customer care is even lower.
Overpriced and the drivers are horrible

This company is contracted with my community to provide waste pickup services 3 times per week (Monday & Wednesday + Friday or Saturday). They provide services to the community at least twice a week, but never on the weekends. The service man who is assigned to our community refuses to service my waste bins (only my bins) when he attends every other home in the community. I have trash piling up inside and out right now because of this. I have placed calls to the company and they do not respond. The lack of communication and consistency is disappointing, as a waste disposal company is literally based on these principles.
Ive been using Grays Disposal for a little over 1 year at two different addresses in Green Hills and Brentwood. They have provided excellent service. They show up when they say they will. I have not had 1 issue with them. Customer service has been helpful whenever I have called to request an extra pickup or had a question about my invoice.
I have been using Grays for 2 years now, after years of HORRIBLE and expensive service from Waste Management and Waste Industries. Although Grays does not have the fancy equipment the larger companies do, they ALWAYS pick up my trash; I have not had one missed pickup. If they cannot pick up on the day they are supposed to, they will pick up on a different day. They even put my can back up to the house. They also have reasonable prices. $20/mo. I am so please with my service at Grays. I can affirmatively say that my experience has been totally different from the other reviewers.
The only reason I gave one star is for the customer service lady who answers when you call, she is very sweet but other than that I have no use for this company. Pathetic excuse for a trash company! I called 4 weeks ago and requested a trash can and have called once a week ever since for the trash can that never came, only to be reassured by the OWNER that it would get done last Thursday! Which NEVER happened! Called and cancelled the trash can because if you can’t even bring it to me - I have no idea if you’ll really pick up my trash weekly!!! I went with Republican Services! 2.00 Cheaper a month and they have your trash can to you in 48 hours! When I spoke with the owner Edwin Grey and asked when I could expect my trash can because I have trash on my deck now, my new landlord is obviously aggravated. We literally just moved in. Mr. Grey never once apologized, rushed me off the phone and said it would be there that day which was a bold face lie! I don’t deal with that if I’m paying my hard earned money I expect proper, dependable service. Do NOT use this company - You will waste your time and have to haul your trash yourself like I did!!!

Great service from the beginning. I called Grays Disposal and got a trash bin and service that same week. The lady I spoke to was sweet and professional. Our trash has been picked up on time from the beginning. Some days, we forget to put our trash bin on the curb, the guys would drive up our drive way and pick up our trash. The guys are wonderful. We have been with Grays Disposal for 2 years now.

Polite words cannot express my disbelief in this company. In November, I sent a message through the web site asking about setting up service. Two weeks later, no reply. I called to ask that service begin the second week of December. Second week of December, no bin. After repeated calls, I finally receive a bin--in January. And then a day or two later someone drops off a second bin that I did not request. I write and call, asking for someone to pick up the second bin. Doesnt happen. Many weeks later, after calling again--now May--they come by and pick up not one, but both bins!.So now it is June, and Ive been without a bin for four weeks. I call every week, and they say they will bring a bin. Ive been told this seven times now--three times in just the past week, but it doesnt happen. They say leave your trash bags out at the curb (until I get a bin) and they will be picked up. So on pickup day I drag this stinking, rotting trash out to the street--every week for four weeks now, And at the end of each day, I drag the stinking, rotting trash back to my house. I have no more polite words to say. I have nothing but piles of stinking, rotting trash.Update one week later: Again told a bin would be delivered. Again, no bin. Grays Disposal is now officially FIRED for horrible service and habitual misrepresentation. Sad, because I have a feeling some nice people work there. Definitely a serious management problem.Update: And now they owe me a refund, but they have gone silent. Grays current rating at BBB is F.
Several time this year my garbage has not been picked up. Now, I am angry. You must pay in advance for a service that is NOT rendered. When you call and ask, the receptionist is very passive aggressive, and NOTHING is done. It goes something like this: Oh, I am sorry. What is your name and phone number? Okay, Ill put a call out and get your trash picked up. Next day.....same. Next day......same.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THEIR LACK OF SERVICE!!!!ALSO, I ENCOURAGE others to write to THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU; otherwise, they will continue this bad business behavior.
Terrible service. I used Grays for about 4 weeks. Every week I had to call to get the pick up. The one review mentioned the women on the phone. She was very helpful, however is does not make up for the service.To add injury to insult, they missed my final week and I left the can out until Friday. They said when they picked up the container on Saturday they would take my garbage. Nope, they took the bag out of the container and left on my driveway. They are absolutely terrible!
Do not pick up the trash as contracted twice a week. Not consistent They Never answer the phone or respond to emails and voicemail when complaining about trash not being picked up. They leave trash on the ground if it somehow gets out of the bag (by them dragging bags). I would rather leave a positive review and help out companies but unfortunately not possible with this company. :(
Our trash is supposed to be picked up twice a week per HOA contract. The pick up dates are Wednesday and Saturday. If your garbage container is not over flowing, then it will not be taken on Wednesday. By Saturday there is no room left in my trash container. It should not matter how many bags are in the container on Wednesday, it should be picked up as well. This has been going on for over a year now.
Terrible. They charge you for months in advance and word your bill so that it looks like youare behind in paying them. We moved to another house in Nashville. Our daughter was living there and we had workers preparing the house for sale. Although we were paid 3 months ahead, the driver stopped picking up the trash. We have called multiple times and they assure us that it is a mistake and my favorite, We thought that you moved! BTW, you have been paid for 3 months of service. They say they will come right out and take care of it. Weeks pass and the garbage just stacks up. They are the worst! I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.
HORRIBLE trash service, only left 1 star so I could actually rate. This place is a joke of a business. The trash days we were told are never the pickup days, I honestly have no idea what days they come, it feels like whenever they want. They pickup the trash from behind the houses and compact them in piles and leave them on the street! I have had to call numerous times to complain to have someone come out and pick up the trash. They put the piles in front of my house which leaves disgusting trash residue right in front of my house and causes an excess amount of flies that I have to pay extra money to put traps out to catch so Im not constantly fighting them from my front door. Calling them gets nothing resolved because the issues keep coming back and back and back again.
We have never had a problem. Missed pickup once because of a new guy on the route, and they promptly sent someone to pick it up right after we called. They dont leave a mess like the previous bunch.
Id leave zero stars if I could. They didnt pick up our trash for almost 3 weeks (during the Christmas holidays) and we paid ahead for 3 months of service! This is the worest company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Will cancel my trash service Monday. DO NOT hire these people, unless you want to have NO trash pick up.A few months ago the service has improved, they do pick on a regular schedule. Only one issue with this company the driver turns around in my front yard. This is tearing up my lawn, I do have turn around space in my driveway.
I was moving to a new house and needed service as the apartment I moved from had dumpsters. I shopped around for the best service/price and I am not even sure I contacted Greys.They proceeded to sign me up without me even saying I wanted them to provide service. I hadnt even gotten a price or anything.So my girlfriend and I both had to call them several times for them to come pick up their container they dropped off at our house before we even moved in.They even sent a bill for service. They still havent picked it up and they had better cancel out that bill.

Wanted a whole year in advance???Who does that? If youre in the rutherford county area and even parts of Antioch or cane ridge call 1st class waste and ask for Ben. 20$ a month and you dont have to roll your can to the street

I called to set up services on a Tues. I was told that the bin would be delivered over the weekend. They werent. I called Tues morning after the holiday and asked the receptionist why would they promise to deliver the bins, if they werent going to be able to do that. Then she huffed a bit and said I hate talking to people like you!. I asked to speak to her supervisor and got the office manager on the phone. I explained to her what just happened and asked to speak to Mr. Gray. She said he was in a meeting and not available. I asked to be transferred to his voice mail She would only take a message. Still as of Tuesday evening- no bin. I just called and cancelled my order. Nice first impression guys! Im calling another company.

Our trash kept getting NOT picked up and when we call we were told we must not be putting it out or ohhh they come.sometimes on Thursday nights!? Wish I could give it less than one star. The most horrible service ever. Things started well for about a month. Now we cant get our trash picked up. They changed our pick-up day without warning. Now we cant even get them to tell us which day of the week it is. First they said Wednesday but no pick- up. Then they said Tuesday but nothing. Phone calls are not returned. Was promised a call from a supervisor but never happened.

I live in Murfreesboro. This service is well worth the money. The guys who pick up my trash are awesome! They go the extra mile. When I signed up for service, I was told my can would be delivered at the end of the week. Not only was it delivered the same day that I signed up, they took off the trash in my overflowing cans sitting outside my house. 5 stars in not enough to tell you how pleased I am with my service!
Their receptacle has been in our alley for months and months, full of refuse. We have called repeatedly, requesting they remove it. Theyve said they would, but never have. I cant say I was surprised to find all these negative reviews about Grays when I came on to share our experience.
This place is the ABSOLUTE worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend Grays to a third world country. I would have rated them zero but this sight wont allow it. The garbage man STOLE my recycle bin three weeks in a row, and every time I called the company to tell them they were sure he didnt take it. This place is FULL of INCOMPETENT employees. The only person here Ive spoke to that is close to professional is Ms. White. I have to use this company because my neighborhood has an association. I cant wait until there is an association meeting so this place can be voted out. I will remove my own trash because they cant seem to get it right. Oh and Regina gave an employee my personal phone number to handle a problem I had. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Idk how you expect to get good service when everyone that works there is hired straight out of the State Penitentiary. My trash is NEVER picked up and when they finally show up idk if Im about to get robbed or get asked for spare change!!!
Have used them for years now and have had very few problems. Sometimes the trash isnt picked up because of weather, a holiday they took, etc., but normally itll be picked up the next day. Their rates are much better than AW and theyre more dependable.
Mr.Albert is very nice and professional, my family and I have had this service for many years with no problems.
Do yourself a favor and dont even call this company. They lie to you via the phone, a manager or owner will never talk to you, and their service is BEYOND horrible. Absolutely THE worst company we ever hired in Nashville, for anything. They think nothing of not picking up your trash for weeks on end. You can call them everyday, and theyll say that theyll pickup later that day, or tomorrow, but they never come. Their drivers are lazy and sloppy. Their trucks are disgusting and the cans they deliver will smell SO bad, that you cannot keep them in your garage. This company needs to be put out of business, forever. Liars and thieves is what they are. Absolutely zero concern about their customers.
Horrible trash pickup company. Many times they missed my pickup, I would call never an apology. They always stated they would send someone the next day. That never happened. If I was lucky they would get my trash the following week. Never get a discount for when they dont come pick it up, which is often. When I called to cancel they didnt ask why, however I still explained to them that Ive had trash sitting out here for 3 weeks that they have yet to come pickup. Still no apology just a ok Ill cancel. Dont know how theyve stayed on business this long when they obviously dont care about customer service or simply offering the service they claim to provide.
Ok, so they were really friendly on the phone when we ordered curb side residential pickup and said the bin would be delivered that weekend. The weekend came and went with no trash can which was explained when the invoice came and it had the wrong address on it (which happened to be a few houses down). So they promised to have a bin delivered that same day. 5 days later I get the phone call from the company trying to deliver the bin to then have them tell me they do not pickup this far away. Apparently the company does not know their own service area or does not bother to check when you request service. Bottom line, use someone else.
I wish I could give them zero stars. They did not pick up trash. Kept getting the runaround as to when they would pick it up. I spoke with the supervisor and he said I could go to JE Mctrurty disposal if i was not happy. I am a new customer too. So they were told to come pick up our bin and we will deal with another service. I put a scathing review of their company on Better Business Bureau website and the supervisor called me asking if i could take the review down as it was uncalled for They have yet to pick it up so it makes me wonder if there is retaliation going on. I feel like i will have to wait a couple of days to have this bin picked up....i really wish I had checked out the reviews. I could have saved myself a headache!
One star is too generous. They havent picked up in almost 3 weeks now. They miss a week every month. My husband has called them almost every day for the past 2 weeks. They lie when you call them saying they will pick up the next day then never do. We have had some bad trash services in Joelton but this is the worst.

Signed up for new service and 3 weeks later still havent had the trash picked up. Had to call twice to get the can and called three times about the trash. Im going with a different company. people are nice when you call but they just cant seem to get it together to pick up our trash

Ive used AW, and switched to Greys because my AW trash men were dicks. They were very picky about what they would take, how much they would take, and where I left my can.Ive had Greys about 2yrs, and I love my trash man. He even walks up my driveway and gets my can from there if I forget to put it out.He always takes all my trash, no matter how much or what it is. Hes friendly, helpful, etc..Very happy with them.
Absolute worst garbage company Ive EVER heard of. I had service with them for 6 months and they picked my trash up ONCE!!!! one time!!! We paid for the back door pickup $30 a month. after the first two months and theyd only collected our trash once, we stopped paying for service. They continued to send us a bill for 6 months even though wed started taking our own trash to the city dump. And when we called and complained they were nice about it, but continued to send bills. Wouldnt wish this company on my WORST neighbor,
They dont pick up any boxes, unless everything is broken down to small pieces and shoved into a bag. On top of paying them, you have to do more work yourself and still worry that they may not pick up your trash.
Trash has been sitting outside our community pool for over three weeks! This company has been notified numerous times (not to mention our HOA pays them to pick it up), they have promised it will be picked up by the end of business today numerous times, but its still there! Please DO NOT do business with this horrible, incompetent company. I wish I could review & give them negative stars!

When they came by to pick up the trash it was just two guys who would reach into the can and pull out bags. They constantly left trash that they couldnt reach in the bottom of the can. We called and it was corrected for one week ... and then started again.I also called asking about limb pickup. We had a huge storm that knocked off several branches. They lady assured me that was part of the service, I just had to call to specifically ask for it. She said they would be in the next day to pick up the limbs. Days passed and nothing happened. I called again and she apologized saying they would be out the next day .... still nothing. At this point we had reached the end of our contract and my husband and I decided we wanted to hire a different service (because of the above, left trash, problem).Still I called to see if anyone was going to pick up the limbs. This time was transferred to a supervisor who said the dont pick up limbs and since I was cancelling my service they wouldnt come out anyway to pick them up. WHAT??? So I only get service for the month Im paying for .... as long as Im also paying for the next month? THATS RIDICULOUS. For a company that sends scripture verses with their bills it didnt seem very Christian. Also where was the mis-communication? On 3 different occasions the lady on the phone told me they pick up limbs .. but all of the suddent the supervisor says they dont. FYI: the supervisor also hung up on me during this conversation.REALLY REALLY BAD COMPANY. DO NOT USE!!!!
We have used Grays for about a year now, and they have lost our payment three times. When we call to tell them our statement isnt correct, there is no apology, nothing. We get accused of forgetting to put the account number in the memo line, or printing it incorrectly. Basically, they are taking our money without trying to figure out where it comes from, and theres no excuse for that, because I ALWAYS put the account number on my check. They wont add it to our statement until I call them and send proof of payment.Also, they pick up our trash and put it in the back of a truck. Once, a bag fell out and trash was sitting all over our neighborhood street all morning until ANOTHER TRASH COMPANY picked it up as they were picking up trash for our neighbor.I would not recommend this company. They are careless and do not provide good customer service.
No stars! I ordered service four months ago on a Friday. I was told Id have a trash bin on Wednesday and they would start picking up our trash that coming Friday. No one ever showed up with a bin or to take our trash. I call Monday and expressed my concerns and the receptionist assured me they would bring out a bin the following day and would pick up my trash by Friday. They never showed. I called one more time and she tried to convince me they would be out with a bin and I told her cancel my service. I have since then received several bills, which now add up to $140.00 for a service I never received. Worst service provider in the industry. DO NOT CALL OR USE THIS COMPANY! THEY LIE and DO NOT PROVIDE ANY SERVICE! NO STARS! I also read other reviews on here and saw where they actually collected money from consumers who never received service. They are SCAMMERS!!!! Would not even give any stars but am required to give at least one to post my review.

Absolutely the worst! They missed trash pick up several times, said they would come the next day but never did (took almost a week,) and we were told we would get a refund when canceling our services with them yet we havent seen a refund and its been almost 3 months now. This company makes their workers hand pick the garbage bags out of the trash bin and they place them on the back of a ghetto rigged pick up truck. I honestly feel sorry for the workers but not for those who run this shady company. Look elsewhere for a trash disposal company. Even if you have to pay a few dollars more. They are not worth the time and stress.
I wish i could give zero stars because they dont even deserve that, they stole my garbage can that i actually paid for without any notice. the customer service lady was beyond rude and disrespectful and knew darn well she wouldnt talk that way to anyones face. theres a reason they are so behind on repossessions. We moved into our house & naturally had tons of boxes to throw away. They told us that everything inside the boxes had to be put in a trash bag & the boxes broken down. This is because the truck that picks up trash is an old ford pick up with walls around the bed. We had huge boxes that contained Styrofoam as large as the boxes & couldnt fit into bags. They didnt pick it up & I called to let them know. The girl answered & just kept repeating herself so I canceled my service & went with McMurtry Disposal. Also I was told pick up is on Mondays. Sometimes they would come by on Sundays & go around the side of my house & take the trash out & not tell us.
Terrible service. Unreliable. Said they would pick up any trash I had as long as it was in bags. Its all in bags, but they cancel me because I have too much trash. I pay the bill and do my part, but they go back on their word. THEY SUCK!!
Grays posted an ad in our communitys local paper with ads and real estate. I called them they stated that they did do pickup in my area and that my trash would be picked up every Monday. They cashed my check on a Thursday, Monday comes around and no pickup. I call them on Friday, the lady at the office said she would get someone to come and pick up my trash asked for my address....I also had yet to get a can for there company she said that would come too. I paid them 6 months in advance because I didnt want to send a small check every month. My mother who also lives in the same community heard about the price and it was cheaper than her current service so she switched. She got the exact same treatment except they came the first time but not after that and gave her the old cock and bull lie about coming that day to get there trash that day and didnt. I will be taking them to small claims court and my mother & I will be placing two BBB negative complaints about this company.

I had no choice but to give one star if I wanted to publish this review. They deserve no stars.I was behind one of their trucks this morning on OHB. They were losing trash bags all over the road from their jury-rigged hoopdee of a truck. I got the license plate number, took a picture, called the police and reported them for littering. I wish I could post the picture I took of the truck that was leaving the mess.Whoever owns this business should be ashamed of themselves.
I moved into a rental house. Some garbage/buckets were already in the can from before iIarrived. 1 bag of garbage later it was full. I waited 2 weeks for it to be picked up and when they came they only took about half the garbage (while leaving all the bags the garbage was in?) and left the buckets. So the next day my garbage is almost filled and I havent even put more in it. If they are unwilling to take the garbage there in the can their discounted service is not worth the $5 I was going to save.
TLDR: Horrible service; The Comcast of the trash industries really. I heard they were horrible but they were the only name in town I knew so I picked up their service. As a new home owner in Brentwood, I wasnt used to having to pay for a separate service for trash pickup because it was either covered in my HoA dues or by the city. If you want a service that is more affordable AND provides trash cans for you for $20 less a month use Waste Industries.Here are some examples of my experience with them:1. I was working from home one day and watched the men come to pick up our trash...they actually examined the bags and picked out only what they wanted, and left the rest. The trash was black bagged, and they left the cardboard boxes we bagged up even after us calling CS and being told it was OK to throw cardboard away as long as it was bagged.2. They send you bills for 3 months forward that fool you into thinking you are 3 months behind.3. Last month they took our trash 1 time the entire month and never told us why until we finally called since our trash was piling up and starting to get picked at by animals...apparently one of the pickup men was stung by a wasp while picking up our trash and they refused service until we took care of the problem. They never communicated anything until we called them. There was no problem and there were no wasps upon my inspection, but we setup traps and sprayed the can with wasp killer anyway. They still gladly charged us the $30 for the month however...4. Due to issue 3, we made the mistake of throwing out some loose items in our trashcan the animals took the liberty of spreading around instead of re-bagging only to find out come trash day that Grays only takes stuff thats bagged up. Problem with that was, we now had a bunch of loose, rotting garbage that I had to dig out and re-bag. I could viably take the blame for that one, because I didnt check with CS about their bagging protocol, since Ive had to call them for every other issue they didnt communicate to me, and despite every service Ive ever used previously never having a problem with loose garbage in the trash can. They probably would have misled me anyway, like in issue 1.5. The most recent and final straw that made me dump them and mad enough to write a review (I never take the time to do this...) happened this past month. This was a continuation of issue 4. After bagging all the loose trash and gagging every step of the way from the dirty deed, we called back twice and requested them to pick up the trash before the animals reopened the bags again. The CS lady was quick to rush me off the phone and promised to put me on the missed pickup list and they would come back the next day to pick up....that never happened. The animals inevitably got back into the bags, although not as bad, and they came and picked up on their normal day...6. Last week they came to pick up the trash from issue 5 and it was one of the happiest days of our lives...We came home and no trash! In fact, they went through the trouble of picking up some of the loose items from the animal attacks that happened over the 4 days we had to wait for them to pick up our re-bagged trash (remember the promise to pickup next day after my call?) I decided to inspect the the trash can and I found where they threw the loose trash...AND one of the bags that the animals got into, which wasnt even badly damaged. This week my mother-in-law and I had to glove up and mask up and dig out the now liquefied trash and re-bag everything they threw away. They finally took everything.Ive switched services today and am leaving Grays. Ill never recommend them to anybody, not even somebody I hate. I understand that garbage pickup is a tough job and my wife and I try to be considerate to those that pick up our trash, but this was the worst experience Ive ever had. Hopefully they wont give me trouble when I request my cancellation and my money back for this month and all the issues we had.PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE THE CHOICE.
Got hit by two bags of trash that fell off a grays truck on 840. You would think a business that is specific to hauling off trash would have a process to keep trash off the road and hitting passing cars.

They have only picked up my trash about 25% of the time that I have had them, and this is even having to call them every time that they forget. I would not recommend them at all.
I thought they were a business about picking up trash- it seems they are just a trash can rental agency. They suck.

I have been with Grays Disposal for over 10 years and I would recommend them to anyone in Greater Nashville for affordable reliable trash disposal services, if we were ever missed by them they were only a phone call away and took care of business.
I THINK THAT THE garbage pick up is lousy, but the SEX WITH THE GARBAGE TRUCK DRIVER IS GREAT!!!!!
Horrendous. After a month of calling, we got a can. After calling for another 2 weeks, still no pickup. They did manage to bill us even though “no one could find our account”.
The most worse company ever very bad service dont take trash I have to call every week so bad dont ever stuck with them
I dont know for sure but, my dog claims to have gotten aids from the garbage truck driver..... Maybe, probably, but not certain.

Not sure even a one rating should go to them They lie and run their business very poorly so glad I did not pay for they services because I am sure I would not get my money back from them I was promised three time to get my services started and all three were no shows Poor people that has paid them because I think they will not be around very long
