My appointment was at 2:45 but when I showed up I was told that had to wait then the barber left to go home get his daughter just to be told that he won’t be coming after waiting 2 and a half hours. Then had another barber cut my hair but was super unprofessional.

I go in for a mid fade and to have the ends of my hair trimmed/cut (had a man bun). I get the fade first, I’m pleased with the final product but the barber cuts hair aggressively and it starts to hurt, leaves nicks and bumps. When it comes to having the ends of my hair cut, the barber barely even combed my hair out or spray any water to comb it out, the barber always cuts my hair and other clients hair in a hurry. The final product was terrible, my hair was uneven and I couldn’t even tie my hair up anymore. The barber clearly doesn’t know what it means to cut ends. I wasn’t pleased at all and was very mad because I had to end up cutting all my hair off. I do not recommend this barbershop at all!!

Made a call and was told I can walk in someone will be here until 4pm. Came in around 2:50 sat and waited due to a guy being in the chair so I waited for the barber to get done around 3:20 the barber comes to me and says “umm I gotta leave”. Would have been nice for the barber to let me know that he wasn’t going to cut my hair and just leave.

I’m from Birmingham and working out of town for a few months and I needed a legit barber. Happy I found this place. Keith took care of me, and hooked me up with a really clean bald fade.Highly recommended!

Wasn’t to pleased. From out of town. Show up at 535. 25 min before closing just needing a medium fade. Two barbers standing. No one in a chair. Shouldn’t take more than 15/20 min for it. Quick cash. Well. Got told no I’m closing up early. Then what’s the point of business hours. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Fade Away Sports Barbershop is my go to barbershop here in Nashville. Ive been a happy customer for over 2 years now because of the skilled barbers and great customer service. Fade Away has a strong sports culture within the shop, and is very welcoming to people of all backgrounds. If you havent gone to visit already, definitely stop by and give them a try. You wont be disappointed!

Definitely best barber in town. Keith was professional and friendly. I love the fact that they are creative. I know how I like my hair, but I think what make my cuts nice is the barber unique touch to the haircut and he did that. I will definitely be back. Satisfied customer. They deserve all 5 stars. Set an appoint with “Dwade” a day before and when I get there the day of he tells me he had two other people in front of me and won’t be able to cut my hair. Why bother setting appointments? Very disrespectful of someone’s time.

I was visiting from out of town and I desperately needed my hair cut. After a quick google of “Black Barbershops” I was led to this place. The atmosphere was far from welcoming but there weren’t any people waiting so I was cool. The haircut and beard trim was about 30 mins of silence. He wasn’t a conversationalist but it seemed like he was putting in work and concentrating on his job...which is totally cool if the haircut is top notch. It’s very meh. The fades are alright but the lineup is definitely going to need to be fixed. I wouldn’t recommend it but there’s cool sports memorabilia and ESPN playing if that’s your thing.

Good guys giving ok haircuts.Got my hair cut twice here, both times by Keith. He’s a nice guy that gives a decent haircut, but nothing great. Only odd part is how aggressive he is with the trimmers, almost feels like he jabs at your head with them.The ambiance is cool with all the sports memorabilia but both the times I’ve been in the big screen tv up front was playing odd movie choices on a dark screen that was hard to see.Might be a good spot for some, just not for me.-5.3/10

I may be biased because I tried two other shops first, and this was the only one staffed. Also, I waa able to get my cut completed during my lunch. The only negative feedback is poor customer service at arrival. I had to initiate service, was not initially dapped, and there wasnt an introduction. Otherwise, the ambiance is good, the place is clean and sterile, the sgop is void of vulgarity and profanity, and the barbers are efficient.

I enjoyed getting my sons hair cut here! The staff was so friendly i would definatly recommend you to try them out! Plus my sons are Autistic! So for them to handle that i would definatly come back and tell everyone i know about them! Great job guys & gals!

Got my hair cut by Keith. He did a great fade job and was a good conversationalist. Took me about 15mins to be seated but there are TVs and vending machines inside to keep you occupied. Would definitely go back again.

Never had a bad cut here but I just sat here from 9:00 to 9:30 waiting on them to open and they never did. Ten or twelve people came and left while I sat there, so theyre leaving a lot of money on the table while theyre sleeping.

Sebastian always hooks it up with the freshest of cuts, and Keith(owner) has his cuts on lock too. Ive never regretted a cut from either of them.

I am a 30 year old white guy. I walked in there last week and was not greeted or aknowledged. Sat there for over 45 mins without anyone sating a word to me. A black gentleman walked in and sat down next to me for about 5 mins. However he was not aknowledged either.. Once a chair became available i stood up, assuming i was next being that i was the only one who had been waiting, and waiting almost an hour now. As i stood up the barber told me the other gentleman was next and that he had an apointment. I said i thought this was walk in only amd he replied by simply saying he will get to me next. I was so angry i walked out. I was never informed i was on a wait list of any kind.. I wasnt even greeted or aknowledged. I called a few days later and asked to make an apointment, the man on the phone said its walk ins only, told me to bring cash and come in, then hung up. Im from cali... I live in the hood in san bernardino. Ive been going to black barbershops my whole life. Ive never been treated with such disrespect anywhere. Very disapointing. Rasism is a two way street...Went back in today to give them a second chance... Had my hair cut by the first guy on the right.. Told him i wanted a 1 on the side and 8 on top and to be able to part my hair.. He took the 1 damn near to the middle pf my head.. I have basically a mohawk of an 8 in the middle and a very VERY HIGH 1 on the sides he told me thats what i told him i wanted... He buzzed me then said im done.. NO BLEND WHAT SO EVER. I was in an out in 5 mins... WORST HAIRCUT IVE EVER HAD!! DO NOT LET THIS MAN CUT YOUR HAIR!! I WANT A REFUND.

Tried to get a haircut today, its during business hours. I get there, open sign is turned off, doors locked, no sign saying they are at lunch or anything at all. Aaaand no one answers the phone either of course. Not sure whats up, but I just wasted my time.

Just gonna say, I dont consider myself very picky or impatient. I keep an open mind about most things. That being said this is the worst barbershop Ive ever experienced. To start, I try calling (because Im new to the area) to try to find out if walk ins are ok and the phones been cut off. I walk in and the place is full of customers but only two barbers, one of them has earbuds in and just stares me down when I wave and say whatsup man. Then the wait starts. I sit on their seat (bleachers) and wait my turn. Time passes and I start to realize this dude is really letting people jump in front and get cuts before not only me but other people, Im assuming because they know each other. Finally an hour later I get a cut. Yes it was good but considering how unprofessional this place is it really doesnt matter. I will never come back and strongly recommend others to avoid it as well.

Awesome barber, welcoming, wore gloves, used a hair dryer to get rid of hair during cut, and nice with the clippers. Gotta 1 with grain and beard touch up, multiple compliments.

Showed up at 6:15 about a week ago, was told by a barber, they dont accept customers after 6. Showed up before 6 today, the door is locked and the open sign is off. Ive paid $30+ to UBER, to simply be shut out by lazy barbers. Ppl have jobs and are not sitting around, waiting to go hang out at the barber shopThe business hours posted on Google should be erased. They should just call their customers when they feel like cutting hair. Needless to say, this will be my last time ATTEMPTING to patronize this business.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. They are NOT open on Sundays. I waited outside their shop for them to open at noon only to find out the hard way. What makes matters worse, I was in from out of town getting ready for a wedding. This was the absolute worst time to find out these people are conducting business in such a manner.

Called to make an appointment. Saif all you have to do is walk in. I get there at 615 for door to be locked. I call they tell.me they dont accept walk in after 6. I drove 30 minutes for nothing after calling a head. Not happy.
