What great people John and his wife. I was in Nashville for a week on vacation and my truck made a awful noise, turns out to be a bad wheel bearing hub. I google searched garages and saw good reviews for Autry Auto and called John. I was 600 miles from home and need it repaired quick. His was already booked up for a week and fit me in and took care of the problem and at a price that was reasonable. Thanks Autry Automotive!

John is an honest man. I called him to see if he had room to squeeze my car in, and he managed to get my car repaired within a couple of hours the same day! I couldnt be happier with the service, and the pricing was very fair. I will not go to any other mechanic moving forward.

John has run this business with his brother for about 20 years. His shop was reccomended to me by some local Nashville people I trust, and Im glad I went here!He fixed my wheel bearing affordably and in a reasonable amount of time. When it was done, he picked me up in my car and chauffeured me to the shop since I didnt have a ride there.John also let me know that my other front wheel bearing will probably need replaced in a year or so. He could have tried to get me to add it on to this repair job, but he didnt, even knowing that Im from Ohio and that he might not get that business if Im not in town when it eventually fails.I appreciate that he wasnt trying to soak me or add things on, he just did what I needed to keep my car going, and he gave me the information I need to plan for the future repairs down the road. Thats a good mechanic!Anytime I need something fixed, Im going here. I hope he doesnt retire soon, but he has all the work he wants and may get out of the business at some point.If you need to visit Autry Automotive, I reccomend you get there as early as possible in the morning, and be prepared that he may need to schedule you for a different day. John has all the work he wants because he has a terrific reputation word-of-mouth in East Nashville, so his emphases are quality of work and reasonable cost; it may not get done super-quickly but it will get done in a reasonable amount of time.Its worth waiting for quality rather than going somewhere they will really quickly screw up your car ;) John gave me a terrific impression and did great work, so his business is highly reccomended.
