Kathy and Jason always take great care of us. They get us on the schedule quickly and I can count on them for quality service at a fair price. We have a traditional central air unit and mini splits upstairs. Some HVAC companies don’t have a clue about minis. These guys are pros, and I feel confident having them service ours.

First time using South Nashville H&C based on reviews. Good communication and showed up the next day when indicated Friday 2PM. Not a late night or weekend. Tech diagnosed issue as bad capacitor 35/3 and I authorized him to proceed. Charges $250 for capacitor $100 for labor and $59 for travel charges. My wife looked at the bill when she got home and said wow we had the same issue on our other unit and $50 for the part plus $79 for labor = $129. I am giving 2 stars because I did authorize the work but as most AC repairs they occur at the worst time possible and we had a houseful of guests visiting from out of town. I also don’t mind paying more for good service and techs that have the needed parts on there truck but the part is $15.97 from local Home Depot vs $250. Live and learn from my experience.

Work was done well. People are friendly and responsible. I got more for a lower cost compared to 2 quotes. Zach figured out how to use a fan and duct to route air to bathroom that other companies didn’t figure out. Thanks to this company.

Our heat went our last weekend and I sent them a text via their website and someone responded within 10 minutes. I asked to be contacted on Monday morning and Kathy reached out at 0745 and set us an appt for between 2-4 that afternoon and they showed up at 1430 and had our unit back up within 90 minutes. The TECH was great and told us our options and did not push us toward a higher priced fix like so many companies have done in the past. I could not be more pleased. They will be my go to HVAC company moving forward.

I contacted South Nashville Heating and Cooling on a recommendation from a friend. They were responsive, professional, and followed up. My old compressor was shorted (dead) and Matt and the install team took good care of me. Had a small issue and Matt responded and arrived first thing in the morning to resolve.Installation was professional, and they replaced the wiring to the junction box, drain hoses, ducting, and the box the air handler sits on. They cleaned up and left the place looking untouched.

Our AC was just blowing the fan and not cold air when we came home Monday night. I called south nashville heating and cooling at 7:30 am Tuesday morning and Kathy was able to get a tech out to our house by 10:30 am. My air went out yesterday. I called several people before South Nashville and none could come out until later in the week. I called South Nashville Heating and Cooling and they rerouted someone over who had just finished something up in neighborhood. They were here 15 minutes after i got off the phone with them. Kathy was real helpful. Coincidentally i spoke to a coworker today and they said they had also used them before and remembered Kathy by name and made the same remark about her being really helpful.

Unbelievable, this company is price gouging flood victimsits normally a $59 service charge but because of flooding they want to charge $200/hrdont do business with a company that takes advantage of people when they are down

South Nashville Heating & Cooling performed a cooling season tune-up on my residential heat pump this morning. The technician arrived within the scheduled time frame. He was courteous and went right to work. He checked and cleaned the outside unit and then came inside to check the temperatures of the supply air and return air. I really appreciate that he put on shoe covers when coming inside the house. Upon completion, he gave me a summary of the condition of my unit. All in all, it was a good experience..

I have had a noise problem with an AC unit for quite sometime. SNH&C came by within a couple of days, quickly identified the problem and preformed the fix. Zach and his team had a very good understanding of the mechanics of the unit which resulted in a fast and cost efficient solution.

South Nashville HVAC was fabulous. Our ac went out in the hottest week in August. They were able to come out within 4 hours, serviced our unit, replaced a bad capacitor, and had us cool in no time.

Can’t say enough good things- Phillip and his team really know their stuff and go above and beyond to help their customers. From ownership to technicians to office personnel - they were all prompt, efficient, and very informative. We badly needed a new system with our ancient furnace on the outs and they drew up a plan that fit the needs of our house and our budget. Phillip personally brought over space heaters for us on a Friday night to get us through two days of a cold snap. Our new system was in place and heating beautifully that Monday night. When we woke up, our heat was out. They came within a few hours and drove through inches of snow. Worked quickly and got our heat working. I was very impressed with their speed and service especially given the snow and ice outside.
