Took the extra step to get all the info I had about my issues. fully explained everything that was going on and the procedures they took to make sure my vehicle was in good running order . I have a 09 VW Touareg that badly needed both flex pipes cut out and new ones welded in. I checked quite a few places and no one could let me know if theyd do it Doug took great care of me and the car is basically silent while running now. I will be back if/when I need more work done. I was lucky to find these guys in Nashua when I moved back to the area and was looking for a new mechanic to help keep my 2001 Audi A-6 on the road. Doug was great! Prior to coming to PB European service, I went to two other mechanic shops who could not fix my cars problem. They all told me to go to a VW dealership, but I was reluctant to pay the cost of a dealership service shop. So I called Doug. He was fantastic! When I first walked into PB European last year, I knew i had found a mechanic that I could trust and that would talk to me in “real people” terms. Doug and his wife made me feel comfortable and the turn around time on repairs has always been super fast. Immediately Doug knew what was wrong when I described a “clunk” sound in the front of my car, that had been previously diagnosed as a $700 repair. It was a loose steering wheel that he fixed free of charge. Additionally, I had a water pump replaced. The part was faulty and Doug honored his warranty with no questions asked. I HIGHLY recommend the knowledge and service that Pb European brings to the table.

Highly recommended. I had my 2011 Jetta serviced recently, they had a loaner car available for me to use and the service was excellent. I got two new tires, spark plugs, and air filters, the price was good for labor and all. I will go back in the future.

Ive known Doug for the entire time Ive been driving and hes been doing the work on nearly all of my familys cars throughout. My parents both own(ed) Audis and VWs--as do I--and nobody knows them better than Doug. The prices are reasonable and backed with the knowledge that the work done was professional and will last. Doug took in my 1990 VW Vanagon with a leaking head gasket. I had purchased the Vanagon sight unseen from Southern California. Doug assessed the issues and did an outstanding job. The job turned out to be more than a leaking head gasket, but Doug took it in stride and kept going until the job was done right. He basically rebuilt the motor. His depth of knowledge is amazing. I am telling everyone I know with a V-dub or Audi to go to PB European.

Doug and Alexis run a great shop. Doug has got to be the most knowledgable VW and Audi mechanic Ive met. If youve got the weird or the tough problem, give them a call, you wont be sorry. And for you Eurovan and Vanagon folks: heres a guy who knows how to get it done.

Great experience here servicing my VW GTI. I do most repairs and maintenance myself but I had a leak I just didn’t want to deal with myself. Quick response and quote via FB Messenger. They provided a loaner car (otherwise this would have been a deal breaker). Everything was done right. Doug even went beyond the quoted service and looked out for some common problem areas while my car was on the lift. None found (proof he wasn’t trying to up-sell me on more work). Bonus: the Audi loaner car was a hoot to drive! (I previously erroneously submitted this same review under my employers gmail account. Ive attempted to delete that duplicate review)

VW Westfalias are quirky, for the most part theyre pretty dependable if you keep up with them and have a good mechanic. I live in Vermont and had just taken a trip up to Acadia Maine for a few days. Coming home in my 1990 Westy, I had a red light come on in New Hampshire. I called a friend because it was getting late, I stayed the night at his place in Manchester. At about 9:00 the next morning, as I expected my VW died. I Googled VW specialist and clicked on PB European Service, got the number and called. Doug answered, he asked me a few questions and immediately told me what he thought the problem was. (an alternator) He ordered it while I called AAA. By the time my van was delivered, the part was on its way to his garage in Nashua. He greeted me, gave me a loner and called me around 3:00! It was ready to roll. Wow! I cant say enough. Hes a very nice guy. Hes fair and knows his stuff. I will visit he and his wife next time I come through, just to say hi. FIVE STARS! (by the way, If I had gone to the Big VW Dealership in Manchester, they wouldve sent me to Doug.)
