Everything we had hoped for and more. Our guide Chase was very good at explaining how to operate the Craig Cat watercraft. Made our way out through the mangrove islands to a white sand barrier island. Beautiful view of the gulf! Spotted a stingray a few feet off shore and a couple of dolphins on the trip back to port.

Chase was easy to work with and very flexible in our meet up time. Boat was nice and we had a blast on an all day trip. He even provided an iPad with our route downloaded. Felt good to know he was tracking us in case of emergency. Thanks for a great experience.

John, our tour guide and all around great guy, made our whole experience delightful. Driving your own boat enhances your tour! A few minutes of instructions and off you go for a three hour trip! Well priced for the time and enjoyment of exporting the Everglades and swimming and walking around a sandy island where turtles nested! We saw alligators, dolphins and herons and enjoying swimming in the gulf for a needed cool down.

Awesome way to spend the morning. These little boats really move, and the guide definitely let us run them wide open. Had a blast. Only wish it could have lasted longer.

Great Day out on the water! My husband had a great time manuevering the catboats and i just relaxed and enjoyed the view.. A quick dip at a private beach to top it off! Tour guide, Chase set a safe and fun pace for the tour...Overall great day. Head over to everglades city afterwords for a drink on the water !

We rented a 22 pontoon boat for a full day. We were given plenty of info, a quick guide of where all safety and emergency items were located, and an iPad with a guided map for the day! The told us the best places to go for the adventures we were interested in. The boat ran great! Had no issues! I would have given 5 stars, but the channel to get in and out is VERY VERY long at zero to minimum wake the whole time and only half the boat had a Bimini. It was a long ride to not have shade. Also, the stereo did not work, but I had brought a Bluetooth speaker just in case.I highly recommend Island Hopper, but maybe bring an umbrella or full body UV clothes for the ride!

We had the most amazing time on our Craigcat boat tour! Our guide was wonderful and the boats were so much fun. We saw lots of dolphins but the manatee and other sea creatures didn’t want to come out on the day we went out. It was still worth it and I highly recommend booking this tour :)

My experience with Island Hopper was great! JD was so helpful with making sure the boat was perfect, provided us with guidance on the operation of the boat, and stayed in touch with us during the day to ensure we were safe and that all was okay. We had a super time in the CraigCat! These little boats are a blast to drive. Our guide John was friendly and fun. We explored and had snacks on White Horse Key. We’ll be back, this is a must do if you’re in SW FL.

We did the afternoon Craig Cat Tour with Chase. It was an absolute blast! First off, Chase was an excellent guide. He gave great instruction, pointed out various wildlife and had some great information with regards to the Ten Thousand Island area. We saw alligators, birds, a loggerhead sea turtle and many dolphins... most of them up close! We traveled to White Horse Key, where we hung out for a while, walking the beach and shelling. On top of all that the Craig Cats were a blast to drive, and Chase really let us open it up once we were out of the canal/minimum wake zone, which was one of the highlights. We had the all the benefits of a tour, with some of the freedom and privacy you’d get from renting a boat yourself. It was well worth the money we paid. We definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the Naples area!

Amazing day! We took out the small deck boat for our family of two adults and two teens- it worked out great! We saw a gator, shark, stingray and played up close with a few pods of dolphins for hours! Our family loved the quiet island time for a picnic, snorkeling, shelling, and swimming too. John was friendly and super helpful. We will do again if we are ever back in the area. Definitely a great memory and would highly recommend!

We loved our experience. We went with 2 adults and 2 kids age 11 and 13. The tour was 3 hours long. Our guide Casey was awesome. This experience is perfect during Covid as it’s naturally socially distanced. We saw dolphins, migrating wood storks and an alligator. When stopping at one of the outer islands to look for shells we also saw a baby bull shark swimming along by the shore. It’s a wonderful experience and perfect for adults and kids. The signage isn’t great when you arrive. Head behind the fire station and the little store and right along the marina at the end is the check in at at a picnic table. No need to carry anything as storage is limited. Lots of fun! Highly recommend it.

So much fun!!! Chase did a great job helping us navigate thru the 10,000 islands. We even got to see a manatee upclose.

We had a wonderful experience with our rental. We saw at least a dozen dolphins and collected a ton of shells. Chase was beyond helpful getting our boat reservation lined up and selected the perfect boat for our family of six! John greeted us as soon as we arrived and walked us through the paperwork, instructions and map quickly and effectively so that we were on our way and comfortable.

Epic trip! We had such an amazing day on the water! This company is amazing from start to finish. We rented the Bentley Pontoon for our family of 9 and everything was clean and the ride was great! The service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. Hope to do it again someday soon!

Was a lot of fun,. People working there were very friendly and helpful. Got to see several dolphins!They could use better signage as to where to go. Was not real obvious we were in the right place. All worked out fine though. Just plan on getting there a few minutes early.

This was so much fun. Perfect length of time, great host and the boats were a lot of fun to drive. Going to a island and finding seashells was also a great part of the experience. Well worth the money. There are other options for the same experience in the area, but this one is the best by far.

Our experience with Island Hopper Boat Rental was excellent! We did the CraigCat tour and had a blast. The privacy of the two person boats versus being crammed on a boat with 40 other people was great. Our tour guide was very relaxed and helpful, making the experience very enjoyable! Very disappointed. Expected much better because of reviews. We just got the boat and it is not the boat that the picture showed. Multiple places where the seats were torn. I took pictures and will load them if I could figure out how.

We saw a little little family of dolphins and on the way back we passed a huge alligator. No worries the boat can outrun them. Easy to control. Such an exciting 3 hours. It is so worth the relaxation and fun. If your wavering on this excursion, just do it. No regrets!

Awesome activity! We thought the three-hour activity could be too long, but time flew while we were enjoying the speed, the dolphins and other animals along the canal and the islands. The boat is super easy and fun to drive and has a dry compartment for your things - although you don’t get wet, even with the speed and the waves when a boats pass by you. I would bring a jacket though as it can get a bit chilly as the boat speed up.Thank you for a great experience, Chase!!

We found this place and purchased a 3 hour tour. Our guide, Chase was excellent. We rode on the Craig Cat pontoons through the mangroves and canals for a few miles and then out to the island full of shells for the kids to collect on the ocean. The two person pontoons were fun and easy to drive even if you’ve never done it before. Well worth the time plus a lot of wild life to see.

Good explanation on how to operate the Craigcat and we felt safe. The tour guide was friendly but really didn’t explain much when we got to an island. We did not get to White Horse Key because water was a little rough. We did see an alligator in the bay by the Marina as we ended the ride.

We rented a pontoon boat for a multi-family outing and had a great day. Our experience was exactly as described on the website. Navigation through the islands was simple due to a charting program provided on an ipad. Staff was on time and curtious.

Easy to book, easy to find. Manager Chase, Purdue graduate, well mannered and articulate. Explain everything in great detail. Best part is this IPAD you use that shows your location and there are preferred routes you can follow to not be the least concerned about finding your way back. Equipment was clean and all safety equipment on board. I rented a 19 deck boat. If you choose to rent a boat. Anchor a few feet from wet sand if the tide is going out. My tip!. Next time I will rent the craigcats for I will be able to navigate smaller keys and not be the least concern about tides.

We rented a pontoon here. Marina is conveniently located and this was a great experience! Very professional and courteous service. We had to reschedule for another day because of a bad weather and they were extremely accommodating. Owner is very nice, explains everything and provides a GPS with the mapped route, which was really useful. Pontoon had everything needed and was easy to operate, and 10,000 Islands is such a beautiful place that we are planning to do it again. Highly recommend to everyone who loves nature and good service!

Honestly, I can’t believe you are asking me for a review when you called yes and said your craigcat boats had mechanical problem AND you couldn’t accommodate us AND you said you’d call about future dates, which you NEVER did. I will be calling me credit card company to ensure that I get a full refund for the $226 I spent for the first vacation I’ve taken in 2 years with my son.

The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We had a great day on the water in the 10,000 Islands. Boat ran well, no problems. I had to knock off one star because we had reserved a 22 ft pontoon boat, but when we were on the way they called to tell me that boat was having problems. They substituted a 19 ft deck boat, which was a little bit more cramped for our crew and gear. Overall, would highly recommend.
