It’s a nice salon for kids, but the quality of service we received was disappointing.It was my sons first haircut and this salon offers a first haircut package which I selected, the staff had to be reminded of that multiple times specifically for the photo and certificate. The haircut was awful—uneven and choppy, even after asking twice to fix it. I’m very sad, I wanted to enjoy this experience and it was just bad.

My 3yo son hadnt had a hair cut in over a year because of covid. He has some sensory issues and haircuts, even at home, have always resulted in a meltdown. Toni was so patient and friendly. This was his first no tears haircut. And it turned out great! We will definitely be going back!

There was no one there! We had a 6:30 pm appointment for my son’s first haircut (made the day before) and the salon closes at 7 pm. The salon was CLOSED when we got to the salon!! I called and left a voicemail. A phone call would’ve been nice to let me know not to come.

Today, I scheduled an appointment for my sons hiar cut. I was late with 3 minutes and the lady already took another customer. When she finished him she told me because I was late she took that customer and she has one more to finish. I waited 30 minutes for her to finished him, and now I was supposed to wait another 30 minutes. No, no, no. How can you take in 3 minutes another customer? In the first place, I think you have to call your privios customer and ask if they come or not. And in the second place, you have to take the customer that had the appointment and is present in the salon, and then take the customer who doesnt have any appointments.And she even didnt apologize.And by the way, her name is Kim.If I will be the manager I will fire her, because of this kind of stuff nobody will come or make an recommendation to the salon even though the service is good.

My mom took my son and who ever cut his hair did a horrible job! On top of that she had to pay $18.95 not worth it!

Very friendly with kids gets the job done and always professional and looks great! Even has a slide inside that kids can play on very cool atmosphere! Will reccomend!

I truly love this establishment. The staff is very friendly. My son has been a client of Mia since he turned 1 and now he is 3. He loves picking out which car he will hop into. Mia is wondering, she does a great job on my son hair.

Horrible!!!! Make an appointment call when we arrive lady answers phone says she will call me at the appointment time. She takes a walk in and says she will get to us when she is done. Rude is an understatement with them. Wish covid would have taken their business with it. Stay away!!!!!Response to reply:You called us back 27 minutes after our scheduled appointment. At that point we already scheduled at kId snips across the street for the next day. Don’t take walk ins seems odd as you told us you took the person before us really quick in between. No reason to make appointments if your not gonna accept the appointments when the customer arrives.

I took my son there for a haircut, this was his second time there and the first was an ok experience. My son was not happy about getting a haircut, I felt there was nothing done to ease his fear and as a hair place for kids isn’t that their business? To make a kids haircut an enjoyable and less fearful experience.Instead I think the experience scared him more.After several attempts and just wanting to be done we left with an imperfect haircut that we still needed to “fix” at home. After getting home and being able to really see the outcome.It was worse than I thought - there was choppy and uneven pieces towards the back of his head. I understand that she did the best she could given my sons fear but I can’t believe I had to pay for that? Even the hairstylist said it’s not perfect, so why would you let me leave like that? Now I’ll have to wait for his hair to grow out so it can truly be “fixed”I will not be returning and do not recommend.

Clean place, hair was cut nicely. They are following social distancing and covid guidelines very well. I docked a star because they had no lollipops or candy for kids. My son cried long and HARD during his haircut, and it would’ve been nice to treat him to something right then and there- especially for the price you pay for a kids cut. The lady was very patient and quick though.

I take my son to get a fresh cut at snips snips a lot and I’ve found that it’s been long enough for me to write a nice 5 star review! The workers have a lot of patience with children, they have bubbles to distract them and I think that’s so cool (: I’ve took my son to other salons and he hasn’t enjoyed getting a haircut as much as he does when he comes to snips snips. They are very gentle with kids who move a lot and always make it work! Me and my son are very glad to have found this kids salon, I’m very impressed with the costumer service and patience. I definitely would recommend this salon!!

Very easy to make an appointment and get in at a convenient time. Very satisfied with the customer service and quality of the haircuts! The stylist was very patient and did a great job! Only deducted a star because I wish the kids could be buckled in the cars, theyre just old power wheels that have the batteries removed/ electronics disconnected and its hard for the kids to sit still unlike at another kids haircut place weve been to that had car themed chairs specific for haircuts which allows kids to reach the steering wheel without leaning forward & less room to bounce around. However overall we had a great experience!

I took my daughter on friday, i really loved how it turned out, i was looking for a new style and the lady knew exactly what to do and she was one of the sweetest hair stylist. the front desk lady was very quick and simple with me which made it much easier and faster to pay. I want to continue to go there for my kids, also because it is a very creative place and my daughter loved it :) i really recommend this kids salon for those who need one, they are very quick and patient. YOU WILL REGRET COMING HERE! I took my son for a haircut the other day and I can honestly say this place is the worst for haircuts for kids. My son had curls for days about 4 inches long. I specifically told the woman do not cut more than about a cm off the curls. How did my son end up with 1 inch of hair left!? Not only that but some places were visibly shorter than others he had nearly no bangs. I was so upset and expressed this to her. I told her it was a lot shorter than I told her I wanted. She said sorry yea its shorter and did nothing to make me feel better about it. I did not expect her to not charge me but she could have done something instead of stand there and offer no discount or true apology. Maybe next time listen to your customers wishes and do something if you mess up. Shameful way to run a business. DO NOT COME HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

The lady that did my sons hair was very understanding of him having sensory. Even though he still freaked out, he had fun afterwards on the slide.

I love taking my kids to see Maggie. Shes great and super fast with them. Plus once the boys are done they can run around and go down the slide a few times for being such good troopers. Great place to go!

My first time here and never going back. I had a 10:30 appointment for my child and showed up 10 min early. Around 10:35, I was told it would be 5 minutes or so. As more and more people came in, I noticed they were taken before me, even using an extra “car” that my child wasn’t offered. If that was the case we would have been seated right away. I ended up being serviced at 11:10, the same time as a walk in who came in at 11, which was 30 min after my appointment. The ladies were nice but no one ever apologized or explained the behavior. I would have said something but didn’t want to make the customers feel awkward-its not their fault. I almost walked out. There is no reason to be waiting 40 plus minutes with an appointment. Every other appointment was serviced within 5-10 min. Not cool.

I recently had my sons first hair cute here for his first birthday!! Maggie did an amazing job and worked very fast. By the way she worked and talked to my son you could tell that she really enjoys working with children.The salon was clean and had a fun slide for my son to play on.All together she did a really awesome job and we are very happy with our son’s haircut!

The time flew by because we had such great conversation. I surely love the color and cut, and am pleased to have found such quality service. Highly recommended!

I took my 5 year old daughter here for her 2nd ever haircut. She had super long hair and wanted to chop it all off. Josie gave her the cutest bob ever and now she can’t stop looking in the mirror. We are so happy with it and she is obsessed. She’s gotten so many compliments, even from strangers, in the past 24 hours. Josie was great!!!

I came here thinking the car seat would distract my son that hates getting his haircut but it made no difference as soon as he seen the clippers.. The haircut itself wasn’t that great but my 2yr old was crying and screaming the whole time so I wasn’t going to expect anything perfect either. The stylist was very patient and fast with his cut even though she cut more than what I asked for over all it got done and I was glad to have his hair gone.

Was scared to go here at first because my child is a fighter, kicking, screaming just gets so upset about having his haircut but we got there and he went down the slide and picked his car to go in and he was surprisingly not bad he cried and moved alot but Maggie got the job done so fast and the hair cut was so good! Best hair kids salon in will and dupage county. I’ve been to other well known kids hair salon and the hair stylist here are patient, knowledgeable, most important they do a good job. My son literally hates getting a hair cut but once I started bringing him here it gets done the right way! I go to Alice, she’s awesome!

My lil bro was playing with scissors on his hair while I was babysitting him when I freaked out he was crying like crazy . So I made him a sandwich and made an appointment that was very easy btw. My mom approved of the haircut saying it looks fresh. Prices are fair with some space to leave a good tip. S/o to the lady for being nice with kids.

I took my toddler son here for the first time. He is a nervous boy and the only one who ever cut his hair was his grandma. I asked to have it cleaned up. The lady rushed through the entire cut, and when he was moving wouldnt let me hold him still. His hair is terrible. So uneven, and it should never take under 5 minutes to cut anyones hair. ESPECIALLY if they are moving. Now I have to pay to take him somewhere else, with hopefully a more patient stylist. Waste of money going there, even if they do have a slide.

Visited them twice while we were in town! The lady is super nice, professional and gives the most professional looking haircuts. Her help was very nice to my screamer 3 yo! Highly recommended 👍

For such a cute place, they do a terrible job. I took my daughter here to trim her front bangs and felt like i would have done a better job trimming. The stylist was rude, it was very clear that she wasnt listening to a word i was saying about what i wanted. When she was done, my daughters bangs were extremely uneven as if a rat had chewed on her bangs. it was horrible!! I have been combing her hair to one side and waiting for it to grow to a decent length so, i can take her to a place where stylists know what they are doing.

I took my 15-month daughter here for her first haircut. The haircut she received was absolutely awful. It is choppy, with random long parts, and it looks terrible. It was her first haircut and she was moving around a little bit. However, I took her here because they offered a Babys First Haircut package so I assumed they would do well with little ones. Im giving them 2 stars because they refunded me for the cut.

I had to give the star to be able to write a review.This is the worst place one can go to mess up their 4 to 10 year old girls. The place is a mess. Its so dirty inside.The lady does not understand your need at all.She messed up my daughters hair so bad. The lady is literally Crazy. She literally chopped (Literally started chopping the hair from here and there with those teeth scissors) of my daughters hair when i asked her to just texturize her hair with some final touches.And finally she blamed it my my 5 year old saying if she doesnt move much it would not have been like this even though she should know that she is providing service to kids and kid obviously are not adults to sit stiff and not move.I am never going back to this place. Be careful people.

If I could give it a 0, I definitely would. The place itself is cute. I liked the books, slide, TVs, and cars though. It gives a comfy vibe for the children, but the stylist on the other hand wasn’t nice at all. My friend has a 2 year old brother who has never gotten a haircut before so we came here because of the good reviews... as soon as we walked in the lady asked us if we had an appointment and we said no because it was last minute (it was also a Wednesday, who would’ve thought she’d be booked).She never said anything afterwards and proceeded to cut the hair of the child she was busy with before, so we thought “okay maybe we’re next?”. Meanwhile, my friend and I who are 20 years old (in case she saw us much younger) were just playing with my friend’s brother, entertaining him, and making him like the place we were so he wasn’t too scared or nervous when it be his turn. Five minutes after, another couple came in with their son, the lady asked them if they had an appointment which they said no, then the stylist said, “I have two appointments coming up and won’t be done until 6, if you’d like to wait”. Not ONE time did the stylist even look at us, greet us, or mention what she said to the family that walked in after us. I get you’re busy, but like be nicer. Aren’t you suppose to make us feel welcome, instead we got this nasty vibe and as soon as she said that to the family we walked out and not a single word was said.

Place wasnt super clean. Dont know if they disinfect any of the toys (which most were broken/old) set up is alright TVs in front of each chair. Haircut we got was just awful. The stylist was so dead set about making her hair straight bangs in front and straight cut in back even we told her to just clean it up. First cut ruined her bangs. Wife started crying. Not going to come back to this location, we are going to start cutting our daughters hair after this cut since it seems like they have no idea how to cut hair either. Really disappointed.

The place was very empty and you wouldnt have known it was in this small mall unless you knew it was there. Some of the game systems didnt work for the kids to play so they stuck with using the slide. They do hair for boys and girls as well as painting nails.
