Always a wonderful time at Cuisine of India. Service is good and timely. The place is not only clean on the inside but the outside as well. Had hand sanitizer at each table which was a great addition. Overall, our experience here was worthwhile and we will be coming here again!
Service:I came during a slow period and we were seated fairly quickly. The host was polite, answered any questions I had and checked in on me a few times to make sure I didnt want/need anything elseFood:The food was okay, the Samosas (Vegitarian and Lamb) and the chicken wings were pretty great, but the mains left something to be desired. I had the Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo /w Garlic Naan and steamed rice. The Tandori Chicken was a bit underseasoned and dry and the Vinndaloo was lacking a punch of seasoning. The Garlic Naan was $4 for 1 piece, pretty overpriced for a single piece of naan (even though it was cut in 4) and it didnt have much garlic butter on it.Thoughts/Rating:Overall I think it was okay, I will have to give it another chance in the near future in order to give it a more concrete rating, but as it stands I would give Cuisine of India Restaurant a 7/10 for the overall experience.
Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious! The service was excellent as well. I will definitely go back.
Always friendly, never had a problem getting a table. The best butter chicken in chicago, I always come back just for their butter chicken!
One of the worst dining experiences ever. We had booked the restaurant for a large party of 25 people a week in advance for Father’s Day and we were told “no problem”. The food literally took 2 hours to arrive after ordering and the manager said they were backed up in the kitchen. They had 2 people in the restaurant, 1 cook and 1 to take orders. We were pretty much the only dine-in customers in the restaurant. When speaking to the manager, he didn’t seem to care, went back to checking his phone. NEVER returning again!!!
Cuisine of India catered the food for our wedding events, and we were extremely happy with the food taste, quality, presentation, and service provided by Rahul and his team. We have very picky eaters in our family and the food was over the top and tasted excellent! In addition, Rahul handled food from the BAPS temple as well and were very happy. Rahul is a professional and knows what he is doing, we took his advice and changed some of our plans and could not have been happier. We did food tastings with all the major caterers in the Chicagoland area, and Rahul was the best and a genuinely nice person to work with. We wanted some foods altered for taste to our liking, and he was able to do that, and did it exactly how we wanted it. He takes lots of pride in his business and it definitely shows when they are catering for wedding events. All of our guests have complimented the food provided by Cuisine of India.Rahul, thank you so much for being a part of our wedding, we are glad we picked you and will definitely recommend all of our friends to cater with you. Thanks,Dhruv & Prutha
Ordered a saag. They charged me $14 dollars for the saag instead of $11 as shown on their online menu because they marked it as saag paneer for the price and added special note to make it plain. Bad business and wont be ordering from them again.
Always fresh and delicious. It’s the best in the Midwest. The Paneer Tikka Masala is my favorite.
Very underrated restaurant, people should go here more often. Surprised I don’t see that many there. Food is great, juicy, warm. Best Indian food i’ve ever had. 10/10, 100% would recommend anyone go there for a tasty bite!
I bought a small tray of Chicken biryani for $65 and they sold me STALE and COLD food that was made 3+ days ago and it was not fresh. When I took it home and ate one serving, it was so bad and stale I could not enjoy it. The next day, I tried to eat another serving but it was already smelling bad. In the evening, I could not eat it because it went really bad. The following day, the whole tray of biryani became sticky, gummy and rotten and I had to throw it away. I stored the tray in the refrigerator with the highest setting all the time. When I called them to complain, they did not take any responsibility and claimed it was fresh. They know what they sold a day ago but they dont admit it and think they can get away with it.The biryani was good only to be thrown in the GARBAGE but they still sold it to me for $65. If I took this tray to a party, NOBODY would eat it - not even a dog! People dont eat bad food in the US - not even homeless beggars. But these people are selling stale food charging $65 and making us eat bad food and taking no responsibility if we complain. The sole responsibility of any restaurant is to provide FRESH food for the money charged but these people are greedy to make money, lazy to prepare fresh food, unethical in their practices and dont even understand the BASIC principles and ethics of doing business. This is not the first time they sold me stale biryani and this has also happened as recently as a month ago. Last week, they mixed butter chicken in chicken biryani (because they did not have regular chicken) and 2 weeks ago, they put too much oil in the biryani tray which dripped on my arms and clothes and leaked all over my car seat that I had to clean for 20 minutes and my car still smells like biryani even after 2 weeks! If I go to McDonalds and order an item everyday for 100 days, Ill get the exact same item every single time with the same quality and freshness. But the quality of food and consistency at this place is unpredictable every time. Consider yourself lucky if you get fresh food when you place a take out order at this restaurant. Indian food is not cheap for what they charge greedily but at the very least, it needs to be FRESH when it is sold at such high prices but they are not honest in their business which is pathetic. They cook biryani just TWICE a week and sell it all week long. I know exactly what fresh biryani is and what stale food is. The food is over-priced at this place for its stale quality - NO one would take stale food even for free. Why should an employee of a restaurant sell bad food and then defend the restaurant if there is a complaint? They would get paid the same salary whether they do any business or not right?Im done with this restaurant and not going back.
Delicious, high quality food. Love their chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken. The samosas and naan bread are good too. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly and attentive.
I placed an order through Grubhub for Tandoori Salmon and when I got the food- there was only the salmon without the biryani rice and sauce thT it was supposed to come with. When I called the restaurant I was told that his iPad did not show the rice and sauce. 14.99 for just the piece of salmon is not worth it…I asked him to look at the menu and he said he was sure. He was rude and hung up on me! NEVER ordering from them again!
From the mango lhasi to the garlic naan .. yummy .. chicken Tikka masala, aloo Gobi, and scrumptious korma! They never disappoint!!
Outstanding. Absolutely decadent. The flavors are incredible. The staff is happy to give detailed descriptions of each dish and the ambience is welcoming. Pictured is chicken makhni (butter chicken), aloo tikka (appetizer of two fried spicy potato balls) and paneer 65 (breaded fried cheese balls with so many delicious spices & peppers/onions). Not pictured but equally tasty: basmati rice, garlic naan bread and a spicy green chutney.Highly recommend all of the aforementioned dishes. I will definitely return to try the buffet and many more entrees. The price is comparable with all other Indian restaurants in the area and the portions are large - enough for two to share or to have leftovers.Great location with plenty of parking just off of Ogden Ave in Naperville.
I ordered the chicken feast. Amazing! I also got a tea that was similar to chia tea that was equally amazing. Great staff and fast service!
One of my favorite things about this place is the portion size. There are always lots of leftovers, so you may pay a little more than some other places but you get a lot for the money. I appreciate that they are pretty good about following requests for mild spiciness in the dishes, for those of us who dont want super-hot food. The flavor is very wonderful. This has been one of our favorite places for years.
Absolutely amazing! My hubs and I stopped here on a whim. We had the whole place to ourselves which made for a nice intimate dinner with no distractions, just great food and conversation. The food is amazing! And the portions were generous and reasonably priced. He ordered a chef’s plate, which was perfect! Honestly, two people can probably split that because it came with Naan, rice, lentils, chicken tikka masala, lamb sausage, shrimp, tandoori chicken, and fish. He tapped out at the half way mark. Yay for leftovers! I ordered their Makhani chicken at medium spice, rice, and garlic naan. Oh! And lamb samosas. So. Good. So much food for about $50. Will definitely be back. Great customer service.
Nice service,liked it.
I was out in the area and had lunch with some friends at Cuisine of India and i cant tell you how perfect it was! The food was delicious! The staff was nice. They were all wearing masks and we were able to sit outside in their patio area which was not only comfortable but super cute. im not out in the area often but will definitely be coming back here next time Im in town.
Love the daal makni (lentils), paneer tika masala (cheese cubes in red sauce), rice, and garlic naan. Also go for the mango lassi. Our guy Benny here is great, calm, and knowledgeable. Good quiet ambiance too. Feel free to eat with your hands too!
We got curbside takeout from Cuisine of India tonight and everything was excellent! We had the saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, samosas and garlic naan. Everything was fresh, perfectly spiced and delicious. Curbside service and online ordering were super efficient. We will be back for sure.
Amazing service, lamb chops were excellent!
As always, great food and service. The Tandoor chicken is my favorite.
Our favorite food in town yet. Everything is so flavorful, fresh and consistent. This is now a go to in our house!
Fantastic restaurant and great food and service
Quick and easy pick up. The food is fantastic. Dont forget to order extra naan and rice. My favorites include the samosa and Tikka Masala chicken.
We arrived at this spot for dinner. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The meal was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.
This place has amazing service as well as tasty food. My favourite spot in the city. The food and drinks came out rapidly and the prices were fair. Will definitely recommend this place.
We tried quite a few dishes and everything was excellent. The service and staff were friendly. I will definitely go back.
THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE (except for the naan!) All we bought was naan, butter chicken, fish and chicken biryani, and ritha and it was $64.15! For a small price, Bawarchi Biryanis give much better taste and quality, but at Cuisine of India, they didnt even have biryani there! When we checked the online menu there was no biryani, so we called them and we asked if they had biryani and they said that they had it. THAT IS A LIE! When we tried it out, it was so bad because it was just kholumbu and rice. The only good stuff was the naan. Even the ritha is bad! Dont EVER go there if you want a good Indian meal.
Nice tasty food, with no excess spice. Sits easy in the tummy. Is clean and appealing for a family lunch/dinner plan. Buffet had good variety, not a long list, but a tasty one yes. Has a very friendly bar as well.Would recommend it to my friends
Great staff and fast service!
I love their nan
Only been there for the Lunch Buffet. It Rocks. If you like Indian food they do it right. They have lots of Chicken dishes as well as veggie options on their buffet. Also if you ever wanted to venture off and try something new the buffet is the way to do it.
Great place to eat with a very friendly nice owner. We will definitely be back for future events!
I go to this lovely place quite often! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this spot many times. The food is very good, the workers are polite and the price is fair. I enjoy eating in this restaurant over a decent supper.
Probably one of the better Indian restaurants around this area. Good food prepared without too much oil/salt. And good service as well.
Amazing flavors, service and ambiance. I went for the buffet and was astounded by the quality of the offerings. The had great samosa and delicious tandoori chicken (some of the best I have had). I definitely plan on coming to order off the menu!
Great and delicious food, I liked the character this place has, and the cashiers were welcoming. I will surely visit here next time.
Very clean and welcoming restaurant. They provide large meals and for affordable rates. We enjoyed the meals very much and the staff members were very personal and informative. Will definitely recommend this place.
Delicious food
Customer service was really good and they are really polite. There lunch buffet was the worst. The chicken they used in the biryani literally was gone bad and not safe to eat. Anyone can tell from the taste. The rest of the food was oily and almost no spices at all. Definitely the worst in the area. Hope they work on themselves to make better food because they were really polite and nice people.
Cuisine of India is an amazing place to eat at. It has a beautiful layout and very hospitable staff. The food is authentic, fresh, and packs a ton of rich flavor. The portions are also very generous. I came here with my family last-minute and the staff did not mind and on the contrary they were really happy and friendly. It so happened to be my father-in-laws birthday and Benny came along and offered on the house dessert as a surprise. I will always bring my family here and I definitely recommend this place to others. 5/5
Great food!
This spot is worth giving a shot. They have large portions for convenient rates. Consistently well kept and with fantastic vibes. Will come visit again.
Where do I start? This place is always amazing. The people are always nice, the food is always good. Not once have I been disappointed. I have had several different dishes over my times here and the buffet and no complaints. Highly recommend
Tried this spot already with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I liked the awesome character and fresh food and beverages. Fantastic work.
The buffet has many options to choose from. Love the butter chicken. Great food!
Quantity for take out food is very less...i mean not even enough for one person for one time.
This place has some of my favorite Indian food. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is at the top of my list and you really cant go wrong with whatever you choose. The tomato and cream based sauce in the Tikka Masala is so decadent, definitely the smoothest and creamiest Ive had in town.
Good for what it was. However, spices were bland.
Buffet is very bad, oily and stale. Got an upset stomach. It is nothing but bad quality food. I do not recommend this place at all.
Great food huge portions. We love it
Catered food from them. The quality of food was great and value for money was awesome. The person who took the order was helpful by suggesting us the right amount to not over order. Good service.
I didn’t like the quality of food. It wasn’t tasty and wasn’t authentic. Everything was salty. Place was clean and looks good. Staff were kind and professional. If the food tastes good then it would be real good indian place.
Horrible food. Went for dinner for my daughters birthday and had worst experience. Paneer 65 was so hard and chewy and on complaining got it replaced which was softer but tasted worse, couldnt even eat it. Hakka noodles was dipped in oil (may have been used oil) and tasted really bad. In spite of complaining still charged for it. Save you money dont go to this place.
Fell on wet floors, left injured and bruised. No apologies, no discounts, nothing, rude staff. Food is mediocre at best and charged me twice! Would notRecommend or ever go back. So many other better Indian restaurants.
Tasty lunch buffet with wide variety of both vegetarian and meat dishes. Service was friendly and food very fresh.
Great Indian food and service. The lunch buffet is fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
Over priced
This is the place I go to get my fix of Indian food. They offer lunch buffer 7 days/week. Food quality is good. The restroom could use a little update.
Hands down one of my favorite Indian places to go. Every curry I have tried is on point and their rice and naan is to die for. Dont even get me started on their lassis.
Nice place, good food design outside looks close though.
I am traveling. Great food, gluten free. JHealthy portions. Enough to eat next day.
The lunch buffet is a favorite of mine. Its not the best Indian food Ive ever had, but it might be the best Indian buffet Ive ever had.
A wonderful lunch buffet, perfect for small or large groups.
Go during the buffet hours which are everyday from 11:30-3pm. This place has amazing food that you cant pronounce but it has a really nice variety of flavors. Did I mention that the buffet is only $13 a person! Highly recommend!
The food was okayy....!! The prices are way more expensive then compare to otherss..!! It was not a good Experience overall..!! Hope they can make it more better in future..!!
Their peas pulao had wayyy too many carrots and onions.. Wheb I assumed peas pulao would just be peas & BASMATI RICE PLS.. And their. Goat curry was ok.. Not sure if I would go back!!!
This place is a bit pricey but you definitely get bang for your buck! The portion sizes are very generous and the food is absolutely delicious. If you call in advance it is ready to order in minutes.
Very good food. We have lunch buffet there for years and travel about 15 miles to go there. Always other the trip. A large variety of Indian for on the buffet.
Food is so good I love this place❤
This place is phenomenal and honestly the only place I love to go to for AUTHENTIC Indian food. The servers are also very nice and welcoming. The buffet is awesome, the chicken Tikka masala is the best Ive ever had, as well as the tandoori chicken, and the naan is to die for. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Cannot wait to go back
Hosted an event here - (a) Amazing food, (b) wonderful staff and helpful before, during and afterwards, (c) management was supportive throughout the entire process.Highly recommend for:- Food- Staff- Drinks- Interior design- a memorable experience with amazing people
Food is delicious, but they can improve their service.
Helpful staff and good lunch buffet.
Food quality and taste is not good. Not authentic Indian taste at all. Rude employees here.
The lunch buffet is where its at. Its inexpensive and with a great selection. The quality is the food is excellent, as is the naan bread served with the buffet. Top quality buffet and at a good price. There are periodically Groupons for the lunch buffet which make an already good price even better. If youre looking for a great Indian place to eat for lunch, this is it.
This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants anywhere! Great lunch buffet! Amazing service!
All the you can eat buffet during Valentines day was amazing
Genuine Indian. Lots of vegan and meat dishes. Good buffet.
Came here on memorial day 2019. service was great! we called ahead to put our order in because they were going to close. we ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb kadai with rice and assorted breads. delicious! we ordered them spicy. they have huge portions compared to other indian restaurants. definitely worth the price!
Did a carry out and unfortunately did not enjoy the food. The favors just werent there, sorry!
Raul the owner is fantastic to deal with. Just catered today and beyond happy, best quality best price best service. Every one at our event was raving. Thanks you!
I am a picky eater and I loved their food. Definitely would recommend this place.
Always a good place to eat, great food.
The lunch buffet is definitely worth checking out!
Below average food as compared to others in the area.
Worst service... First thing, the restaurant is not open till 10 pm on Sundays. On a Sunday we reached there by 9 pm we were told they are closed via the window. When we requested for to go food the person there gave the menu and asked what do you want.
This place got me hooked on Indian food! I love it.
