DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! This was the worst child mani pedi experience ever. We totally picked this place because an internet search brought up a picture of the cute butterfly chairs they have. That is as cute as it gets. We paid for 3 girls to do Gel Mani Pedi at the discount price of $50 each. (They tried to convince us to do a lesser service because of the price - like do you not see my nails I know exactly what we are asking for) Each one was rushed and honestly I think the person I was watching over only did a little more because I asked if they are paying for full mani pedis don’t they come with nail trimming and filing and what not. My biggest issue is this. Would they have done the same level of work on an adult. I have taken the girls to places that do nail polish changes for $20 and for that price that’s pretty much all I expect even then most of those places will trim and file and I’m happy to tip at the end. This place charged full price did a half A$$ job and had the audacity to look at me crazy when All I paid was their asking price. Heck no I am not tipping people who charge me for a service they did not full fill properly.

This is my all time favorite nail salon!! I adore the staff who treat me awesome every time! A great group of men and women who work hard for you to feel relaxed and beautiful.

I got french tip nails, the nails are all very bubbly. The nail tech cut me in 2 diff spots. I was over charged. I paid $55 and tipped $5. I am very upset and I wasted $60.

After 30 years of my life, I finally got a pedicure with my girlfriend. What started as a joke, became a life changing experience to me. The place is aesthetically pleasing. The chairs are extremely comfortable and the back massage it provides are a blessing. We got a package for 50 dollars total/each that included a foot exfoliation, hot stone massage, moisturizers and hydration on top of the pedicure. The staff is super friendly and kind. The ambience is great. We felt it was an excellent care! I am looking forward to another pedicure day with my bae.

Meh. A bit mediocre. The lady did not listen to requests. They didn’t like that I paid with credit card and asked for cash several times.

Edit: originally gave them 3 stars but now I think I over payed for acrylic nails. They charged me $50 and I gave her a $5 tip while others online say they were charged $35. Just went to their site and confirmed acrylic nails are $35. Overcharged by $20.They were nice and the salon is lovely but the quality was not there. Maybe if the technician had slowed down, my nails might have come out better.Side note: they only accepted cash when I went in. They do have an atm in the salon if you need it.

😕 attitude, angry counter person, negative.Nail tech was tired, went fast as possible, work was low quality but to be fair they were busy with 4 people in pedicures. The job was rough unfinished, so she just made it cheap. No offer to change polish or for return work.I had the feeling that somebody had had words before I got in there because the counter person was glaring at a lady sitting on the couch who had been clutching the couch and had positioned herself for as much room between her and everybody else as at all possible. Regardless the vibe was negative.

Place is clean everyone is friendly but call me a nail snob, i asked if the color that i was getting on my toes was available in gel for my fingers i was told yes. Get to the part where i get my full set, the color on my toes is not available for my nails. Finished look??? Nails are not cleaned up theres acrylic powder all over my nails and cuticles. Messiest nail set i have ever had

The ladies at LaVie were wonderful and very accommodating. Everything was extremely clean and sanitized, while the ambience and decor were beautiful and inviting. I will definitely be returning though they have to shut down for 3 weeks starting tomorrow, due to Covid restrictions.

I just had a mani pedi there and was very impressed with all the precautions they are taking: temperature checks at the door and monitoring who comes and goes and gets phones numbers of the customers in case they need to be notified. There are also sneeze guards in place and every other chair is blocked, mandatory masking signage and the icing on the top was my manicurist walked up gave me hand sanitizer and sanitized her hands in front of me. They also do a great job on the actual mani pedi I just wanted to give them extra kudos on their COVID precautions.

I Love love love La Vie! I have been a regular for years now and can not recommend this nail spa more. I have never had a bad experience here, and if youre looking for a great massage during your pedicure, you couldnt find a better place!

Just tried this place for the first time. Absolutely DO NOT recommend. Would give 0 stars if I could.My appointment was at 10 and the woman didn’t start until 10:20. She was finished with my pedicure at 10:45. Mind you, she abruptly left for over 5 minutes without saying anything. She went to ring people up, answer phone calls, etc. She also did a horrendous job. Pedicures are supposed to be an hour long. You can just imagine what she did in less than 20 minutes...seriously, gave me a pedicure like a 6 year old would. Not exaggerating. The worst part was that she was wearing gloves that already had pink residue on them. I came in with green nail polish!! NEVER coming back here again. I advise no one else does either!Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before coming in here. I only checked out their website. The way they make their salon seem on their website is a COMPLETE CROCK. Do yourselves a favor, heed the warnings and DO NOT COME HERE! I’m leaving feeling robbed.

Ive never had such a bad pedicure. There was barely a leg or foot massage, hardly cleaned cuticles, barely buffed out the callouses, no base coat. My daughter was with me and she received two coats of polish no base or top coats. The two techs never spoke to us but conversed with each other while we were there. Whole thing took maybe 15 minutes. No second chances. Ill go somewhere that appreciates my business.

Amazing manicure place. I split my toenail and needed help so I could wear the shoes I had chosen. They quickly went to work on me and did a beautiful job. The massage that came with my pedicure was so wonderfully relaxing, I told my pedicurist, Anthony, that he had magic hands. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I should have listened to the reviews, DO NOT GO HERE. Especially if you are not a local, which was my case. I decided to chance it because they were open early. Bad choice. On arrival the nail technician was very pleasant, once she found out I was from out of town, not another word. I have gel nails, and have been getting my nails done for the past +18 years and did not have time to see my nail lady. When taking off my existing gel nails, I asked her to not automatic drill my nails- she said just the top then well soak. NOT what I wanted, if I wanted my nails to be drilled I would have fake nails. When it comes time to work on my nails she proceeds to use the automatic drill to file ALL of my nails- there goes the strength Ive been building. THEN pulls out a pencil sharpener box of her tool, NOT steril what so ever (note when she was done working on my hands she put the dirty tools into the same box, presumably for her next client). At no point do I get up to wash my hands. She never uses the big fluff brush to wipe my hands free of debris. Nor does she ever ask if I like the shape of my nails she is filing away, or the color of polish I chose.To top off the experience, the charge is $35 dollars- more expensive than I pay in the Bay Area- the cost was not my issue. My issue was she repeated $35 flat? 5+ times, obviously concerned with a tip. After asking, there is no line for a tip when you use a credit card and she would like a cash tip and then pointed to the ATM located in the salon. I had $3 in my wallet (I usually tip much more but at this point I dont want to tip at all) I say just $35 on the card I have cash for tip. She then says are you sure, use ATM. ARE YOU KIDDING?!? When I hand her $3 folded in half she opens up all $3 dollars, rolls her eyes, and walks away. NEVER in all of my years have I had such a rude, unsanitary, ungrateful nail experience.

Absolutely went above and beyond for the elderly man I care for! Such wonderful people and great service!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services!! BEST IN NAPA!! Jenny was an absolute blessing!!!

If I could I would give this place a 0. This was a recommendation from the Hotel.We were on a series of delayed flights coming in to Napa for NY celebration and Offcourse I wanted to get my nails done for such celebration.We were stuck in traffic on 121 and we called to see if we could postpone to 6:30 pm. After a long long ride we pulled in straight from San Fran at 6:35. The lady set us down and started the job..... she couldn’t paint straight or had any clue of what she was doing. The lady that did the pedicure did ok. However the lady applying the gel without waiting it to dry coat after coat, complained that we got there at 6:40... I will repeat we arrived at 6:35 and we called to ask if was ok still. If I could attach pictures here I would.Looks like my 8 year old did my nails.Sad because $65 later this is embarrassing and she asked if I was going to give her tip cash or card..... we gave her 18% tip because that’s the money I had and I wanted to cry as I wasted money and time.

I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Vi, she was extremely nice and helpful. I walked out with a completely different set of nails but I am extremely happy with the result. Best nails I’ve ever had.

After reading terrible reviews, and having both good and bad experiences at this salon, I went there again. I read in three different reviews to ask for Lisa, which I did. The first thing I did was ask her if her tools were clean. She said they were, and I believe her. She was friendly, efficient, spoke English well - even ask my permission if she could momentarily speak to her boss in their native tongue!! A first! I told her something, she told it to her co-worker, and then told me what she said to the co-worker. She gave me a beautiful pedicure and gel nails. She even asked it I wanted water and brought me a cold bottled water! At the end, she asked me how she was and if I was pleased. I gave her an enthusiastic, excellent!As I learned in my research, its important who you ask for. Lisa is the one!

Do not recommend. Got a set of acrylics 2 days ago and they’re already lifting. The tips didn’t even fit the size of my nail was too small and asked if she could put the correct size and wouldn’t. To top it off I had acrylic debris all over my nails and she did not even bother to clean them up before putting a clear coat of nail polish. Super messy. At the end she kept asking for a tip and I didn’t want to be rude so I told her to put it on my card because I had no cash and she told me to go use the atm to give her cash. First and last time I’ll ever go there. Too overpriced as well and not even worth what they charge. Was charged $35 for an acrylic set but online says it’s $25. My friend came along with me and wanted to change her nail color and they said they were going to charge her $25 when online it says $7. NEVER AGAIN.

I loved this salon, the chairs were so comfortable, the massage on legs and arms was a wonderful addition and the service was great, the lady who did my Mani/pedi was very sweet.

It became infected and resulted in a doctors visit.Called to advise with no luck.Drove my daughter in to show the swollen toe. The manager was rude and took no responsibility. It wasnt until I threatened to file a complaint and call the owner did she make a lame attempt at giving back the money for the pedicure.One week later my daughters friend had the same occurrence with her finger....infected!AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yes, the building looks professional and inviting but you are better off going somewhere else!

It took 15 minutes for the technician to complete a premium pedicure. I have been frequenting nail salons for the last 25+ years. In this time Ive had some good pedicures and some bad ones. This, by far, would be in the top 3 of worst pedicures.The facilities are lovely, and located in a convenient area. The service was average. However, the attention to detail (cuticles, dead skin, foot/leg massage) was completely absent. I essentially paid $30 for a foot cleanse and for my toes to be painted. What a complete waste of money. I am all for speedy service, however I also want foot care to be inclued when paying for a pedicure.Not recommended AT ALL.

Loved my pedicure not my full set. She convinced me to get the dipped gel and two nails broke the next day! And for $50. What a rip off!

This place really did a terrible job, I asked for almond nail look, so they charged me $5 more dollars and still did a crappy version of a round nail, and when I asked politely if they could fix it, they gave me the hardest time. They cut corners, my nails were not smooth on the ends, and didnt even put a top coat. This place is deceiving, very cute on the inside, and seems well kept but the manager didnt care at all with my dissatisfaction, and told me basically to get over it.

Dont bother To make appointments at this place they dont keep their appointments. This is the 2nd time had come here on my lunch waited 15-20 minutes finally had to leave so I dont get fired ...people need to understand that appointments mean something in this town

I recently went to La Vie with my granddaughter. I was pleasantly surprised to see that (2) of my favorite nail techs that had left Napa Nails are now at La Vie. I got a great manicure and was happy to find my favorite nail people again.

Easy to get to, lots of parking, most excellent nail & spa work, super friendly service & good prices!

The lady that did my nails was the worst. I asked her for acrylics and she said no, then I asked her to done a simple accent nail with a french tip design and she said that she could not do that, finally she kept pressuring me to get a pink or nude. When she was painting my nails she kept scratching the extra nail polish with her nails which was very uncomfortable. When I was getting ready to pay she kept pressuring me to give her a tip. When I said 2 dollars she gave me a dirty look, then I said 3 dollars she gave me another dirty look, finally she said 5 and I agreed because I was tired of being around her. I will NEVER be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

I stopped in one evening and picked up a price brochure, then made an appt. for a gel pedicure before a vacation. During the pedicure, I was asked 3 times if I wanted a manicure too (annoying). The pedicurist spilled a drop of polish onto the skin of a toe and used a nail file on my skin to remove it - ouch! Even the manicurist at the next station made a face about that. I was happy with the pedicure, however, when she said it was $45 I couldnt believe it. I found the trifold brochure which only shows a gel manicure price of $35 - there is no price for the gel pedicure. They acknowledged they did not have a price listed anywhere for the pedicure, and insisted it is $45. I will not return.

Ive come here twice to get fake nails and they did absolutely wonderful job, no pain, quick and done right. One of the best Nail salons in Napa.

The only reason I went back to La Vie was because I had $15 left on a gift card. The gal was sooooo fast. It was the quickest regular manicure I have ever had. The total came to $14. She asked if I was tipping her. I did and she literally snatched it out of my hand & did not say booo. No thank you, no nothing. As I got into my car, I noticed they were looking through the window & chatting. I guess she wanted more than a few bucks for a quick $14 job.I will NEVER go back. They have always been very rude and have a reputation of swindling people, overcharging. One even asked me to help her file a lawsuit against her boyfriend..............run as fast as you can from this place. It appears to be a front.

I was a regular at La Vie nail salon. I liked the convenience of a walk in mani-pedi, and the massage chairs. As they began to recognize me all the ladies were very nice to me, and would go the extra mile to give me a longer massage and let me sit in the massage chairs while my mani-pedi dried.This February 2017, after having my first baby in January, I stole away for a quick self pamper hour. I went to La Vie for a mani-pedi. I have been paying for it with pain, doctors bills, and regret ever since and its now June 2017. I had never received a pedicure from one of the men before...I think he might be an owner or a manager.?. In any case, during the pedicure he was cutting my toenails and dead skin away to the point I felt a little pain and discomfort. I dont remember if I said anything, but I really wish I did.Since that pedicure, I have been on two rounds of antibiotics for staph infection and have spent over $800 in podiatrist bills for multiple chronic ingrown toenails, something I had never had before going to La Vie nail salon. I have been in immense pain. I started walking funny because of my toe pain and now have Achilles tendinitis, which is extremely painful. I wish I could post a picture because you would never go to this salon if you saw my toes and experienced agony Ive had to go through...all while taking care of my first newborn baby!!! This foot pain has been an extra struggle, during a hard enough time, as a new mom.What that man did to me, really messed my feet up. I currently have another painful ingrown toenail starting again on a toe I thought the podiatrist was able to help...I will be back at her office again this week paying another $55. Co-pay to have her cut my toenail again so it will hopefully grow out right. I have 4 toes currently with irritation, and pain from ingrown toenails due to the way this man cut my nails. The staph infection was because of how he trimmed my skin....I would give zero stars if I could! I will never, ever, go back!!!

Im not one to complain but they did such a horrible job on my nails Im going to complain. The lady left my acrylic nails uneven, the acrylic nail wasnt even on my real nail, and she went so fast and skipped so many steps that they look horrible! I get my nails done a lot and this is by far the WORST place I have ever been to! Please guys save your time and money and go somewhere worth while. Im so pissed Im goin to a different place right now to have these taken off and new ones put on. Im NEVER goin back again. Waist of my money and time

I was getting gel filed and that was $35 trying to save money I had the overlays taken off in Fresno on a visit and to just paint with gel was $20 but for just the gel polish at la Via they were going to charge the same I was paying for a fill and polish how does that workPlus the sign at the register shoes the gel fill should be 20 do what they charge another $15 for the polish... Never again

This place did my aunts nails like crap n when she told them she didnt like them they wanted to agrue with her about it instead of let me fix ur nails for u again she walked out paying 60 for crappy nails n for gel refills when the price say 20they charged her 35 wont be going there again

Sorry La Vie, wanted to make this work but when I gave an $8 tip on a $42 service, I was asked for more- twice. Embarrassing. I was flustered and complied. Not a great way to end the experience.- a Napa local who is shopping in that area at least three times a week!

This nail salon sucks! Me and my mom went here and they made my mom bleed and gave her a foot infection and she had to go to the hospital and get stitches because she was cut so bad!!!!! They made me bleed when I was getting a manicure and my hand hurt for weeks! Do not come here go anywhere else in Napa to get your nails done!
