I had a great experience at this place, front staff was really friendly my wait time was only 10 minutes for my X-ray. I was in the office for an hour. Dr Gordon and Miguel did a great job with my cleaning. Definitely coming back in my next appointment.

Worse service ever. I went for a cleaning and on the first visit they were supposed to do the x-rays and the cleaning but after the x-rays and wasting 2 hours waiting they told me that they overbooked despite having a morning appointment. I rescheduled weeks later and had 1 more x-ray because they had a new machine. The dentist that then met never introduced himself talked from behind me and pointed to the x-rays and said I needed a deep cleaning without even looking at my mouth. He then tap each tooth and rattled off numbers so quickly that it was impossible to understand. He didnt measure the gum pockets, just tapping the tooth and continued rattling numbers after he turned away for another 30 seconds. He wanted to charge $500 for the cleaning that originally was to be free with the insurance. When I asked if he could just do a regular cleaning he just said he would give me a referral to a gum specialist. Btw he never talked about my gums,nor did he answer the question about a regular cleaning nor did he give me the referral. It was as if he was pretending to be a dentist. He was a young guy with a mask on and never introduced himself. It felt so unprofessional and like a bait and switch. I have been going to dentists all my life and never encountered such a terrible dentist.
As a new ortho patient my teeth are very sensitive and a lot of assistants have been a little too rough. Daylisha was very gentle and friendly.. thanks to her I have a better perception on the entire process.
Ive been to multiple dental places with multiple assistants and they were always to rough and just didn’t put enough effort into caring for me but when I came here a very gentle young lady named Daylisha was very gentle! Definitely made me comfortable!
.Last Friday I arrived for an appointment at around 3pm,Had my X-rays taken promptly which all went well.I was then lead to the back room where I was sat in the dentists chair and told “the doctor will be with you soon.” 50 minutes passed with no check in to then be told “can you come back next week, the doctor is finishing up”. Closing time was at 5pm and this was at around 4:30 not ideal but okay. I can come back.I came back on the following Tuesday and get this; The same issue came up in a different form.I was placed in the back room and sat for between 1 hour 15 minute or one hour 20. 30 minutes in I was asked if I wanted water, but other than “the doctor will be here soon” no one checked in. The only reason I did not leave sooner is that I lost track of time and found the whole thing amazingly funny and unprofessional.Can you imagine showing up to an organised appointment and just being left in a corner in two visits? Lol.I left at this point, requested my x Ray’s be emailed and I will not be using this location and company for dental work. They did send them promptly so all is resolved in that front.The staff at the reception were very friendly and the radiologist/technician was very easy to work with and pleasant.

I had extensive work done yesterday and my Dentist at Western Dental and Miguel did such a amazing job! They were gentle and kind and today I have zero pain and will definitely recommend Western Dental in Napa,.ca. 😉
I had an appointment booked at 1030 AM for an emergency visit. It took 2 hours just to get xray. By 3:30 pm (5 hours later) I had to walk out because I couldnt wait any longer to be seen. Avoid this place at all costs!!!! Such a waste of an entire day for nothing!
I wish I would’ve checked out the reviews before coming here. The thing is the staff that I’ve experienced are great, especially the lady that does the X-rays (shout out to you girl). The real problem is management and the fact that this is a money hungry chain operation.They seem to consistently overbook, hence the long waits and being asked to reschedule your appointment after you’re already part way through it. It’s not fair to the staff or the patients to be put in that predicament.And when you do this to people, you need to make darn sure you’re not billing for services that never actually got done because then I as the patient have to jump through hoops to get that corrected so my benefits aren’t all effed up.I don’t appreciate never getting a response back from the manager regarding my records request, but I am thankful that a handful of the staff made it happen so I can move on with my dental care elsewhere. Many of us do not have the time and patience to be going back and forth with y’all and it’s a real shame that we even have to.Also a suggestion: hire more staff to answer the phones, waiting 10-20 minutes to get through to somebody is upsetting to anyone and I’ve never experienced this anywhere else.
Incompetence does not begin to describe my experience at Western Dental Napa.I arrived on time for my 2pm consultation at a completely empty office. After about 15 minutes a few nurses casually walked in, paid not of the patients any mind, and completely ignored us while they leisurely opened the office up again.Because I was getting some teeth extracted, the nurse told me we might do the surgery that day and recommended I not be on pain medication or eat beforehand. You can imagine how hungry and sore I was by 2 pm on an empty stomach, but after waiting 2.5 HOURS watching nurses and assistance just wander around aimlessly, not doing anything at all, and having casual chats and playing on phones, I was getting fed up. By 4:30 I was finally seen and told by the doctor that he couldnt do anything and just gave another recommendation. No hello, thanks for waiting, Im sorry we cant help, or do you have any questions. Nothing, in and out in less than 5 minutes and nothing to show for it. THE NURSE was the one who actually talked to me, answered my questions, or showed ANY interest in my situation. Though the answers were wishy-washy at best between if this was an emergency surgery or not. I found out I had been waiting for the doctor to finish an emergency surgery for someone who was scheduled AFTER ME. They could have done the consolation before the surgery and saved me so much pain and discomfort, it only took 5 minutes! the management is non-existent and this BEYOND DISAPPOINTING AND INCOMPETENT. While the staff was polite, they made no effort to communicate with me or reschedule me or just recommend me to a different dentist. What a waste of time and unnecessary discomfort. Get some management in that place or replace whoever is running this circus because that was unacceptable service.
I had a dentist retire after 16 years with him. I must have seen 3 to 4 dentists since. Never clicked, until Western Dental, yeah I had my ifs, wrong. They are professional, courteous no bs straight to work. They will be my regular from now on.

My father had a bad accident, he chipped 3 teeth and knocked one loose causing extreme pain. I flew in from Illinois to help him and we setup a dentist appointment at 4am the first night. We were going to go to ER, but we both assumed the dentist would be a better option. He experienced swelling in his lip and face. We spoke to a gentlemen at their call center who was helpful and set us up an appointment first thing in the morning. The guy from their call center explained that due to it being the weekend we would have to pay out of pocket until the insurance could be verified. We said we were totally fine with that, it was an emergency. Once we arrived at the dental office the staff was very rude. We provided 2 options for proof of insurance, we also explained that we understood it would be out of pocket until insurance was verified. We explained how urgent the situation was and were told he could not be seen. Why would your call center say something completely different? If you are going to turn someone away, at least make sure your whole company goes by that same policy. We wasted precious time. Also the staff was very unprofessional and acted as if we were of no importance. They made 1 attempt to verify insurance, already knowing they would be closed on the weekend. The staff member walked to the back of the office and immediately came back to say unfortunately they could not help us. It was as if she didnt even ask anyone. Later we found that my father had an abscess in his tooth due to the fall. Thankfully we returned to the emergency room later that day to find this out. DONT GO HERE. THEY DONT CARE.
I live in Humboldt County and my son lives in Napa. He called me and was in such horrible pain and needed to get to a dentist. He doesn’t have any dental insurance so I told him I would find a dentist in Napa that could see him right away. I found the number for Western Dental and noticed in their ad it said they would take emergency patients who needed to be seen right away even if you were not already an existing patient. I called and explained the situation and was able to get him in the very next morning. They were very professional and compassionate. I would recommend anyone who is experiencing any type of dental problems to call them and make an appointment right away. You will be so glad you did.
I went in to potentially get some crowns on three of my teeth and when the doctor came in he checked my teeth and gums and counted them so quickly like an auctioneer (another reviewer said that & I had the same EXACT experience) it puzzled me. Then he was suppose to do a cleaning but he only cleaned like 4 of my teeth, then said I should have my wisdom teeth removed(which fit perfectly in my mouth & other dentists have praised me for). I asked him why and he said because they are hard to clean. Maybe for him and his lack of care but not for every other dentist Ive ever been too. He didnt have an assistant for the day. I was uncomfortable with how quickly he rushed in and out, didnt ask me any questions, & wanted me to get rid of 4 perfectly good wisdom teeth. I did more research online and found a wonderful dentist at Villa lane Dental whos prices for crowns beat Western Dentals and the care at Villa Lane Dental was phenomenal! My doctor took his time to clean my teeth & was determined to do a great job. His staff is friendly and I highly recommend this office over EVER going to Western Dental. Look for a place with good reviews and at least a 4 star rating. Villa lane Dental is a 4.8 rating. I highly advice everyone to stay away from Western dental.
Update: spoke to their 24 hour on call dentist on Sunday March 21, 2021 at 9:46am. He instructed me to go to my local emergency room as the swelling went into my right eye. He also apologized for my experience and told me I should report this to the manager!!!! So i followed his instructions and went in to my local emergency room and they did a ct scan to determine I had a major infection prior to the extraction !!!!!! Every single nurse and doctor I spoke to at my local emergency room either had a friend or relative who had a horrible experience at this office.I called another dentist in the area to schedule a follow up and they also said I should have been referred to a oral surgeon since my wisdom tooth was impacted and where shocked that I felt the whole procedure!!!Also called my primary to make a appt for a referral and the receptionist explained to me how her sister had emergency surgery on Saturday as she had similar complications from this location as well!!!Day 4 post op and still cant feel my tounge or gums now, have a horrible infection and in alot of pain.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE OFFICE you can read my story.I originally came in for tooth pain. I believed my wisdom tooth was infected and needed antibiotics. I came in on Tuesday of last week ( March 16, 2021) and they took x-rays. Then asked me to come back after 2pm as they where over booked. I called the office after 2pm and asked for the doctor to just call me. Long story short they couldnt determine if I had a infection from the x-rays and scheduled me to be seen the following day at 11am. I saw a female doctor who took one look at my mouth and said there wasnt a infection and I needed a extraction and bone graft. Appt was 15 mins in length and I was scheduled for surgery the next day. March 18, 2021 at 2pm I Came in for a wisdom tooth extraction where they basically said I had to have a bone graft because theyre doctor only does extractions with a graf. I paid out of pocket for this procedure. Not only was the doctor a hour and a half late, he treated me like garbage. My tooth wouldnt come out and he forcefully tried pulling for over 30 minutes . Like using a hammer to get a nail out of a piece of wood. I had to hold my jaw as It felt like it was going to come out of place. He ignored my cries of pain and the fact that I could feel EVERYTHING and refused to stop and numb me again. When I left there my body was uncontrollably shaking and in shock.. all I could do is sob. Day 3 post op and half of my tounge is fully numb !!!! Called their after hours number and the advice dentist explained this is rare and its caused by nerve damage!!!!!!! Even the on call I spoke to said I should report this to management. If you are a medi-cal patient they just Hurd you in like cattle to make a buck. Absolutely no ethics what so ever. The office staff are nice and tried to do all they could to help me. If I could give 0 stars I would.

My girlfriend has been dealing with you company for dental and orthodontist services. She broke a wisdom tooth so she made an appt for last Saturday. When we arrived they couldnt do anything because of her braces. She got them installed by you it should be in your system now its Thursday finally made it back in for 9am appt. Shes still sitting and waiting 2 hours later nothing has been done yet. Now told shell be done around 2pm. 5hrs 1 tooth removal?

This is the worst dentis to go to in napa. I went becuase I couldnt afford a better dentist but after going to their office about 3 times, I realized this is a dentist that i dont ever want to come back to. Its better to pay a little more somewer else than to deal with western dental. Every single time I went there I had to wait about 1 hour for my turn even though I had an appointment, the last time I went I waited 2.5 hours. Im surprised I actually waited and didnt leave. Wen it was my turn the dentist spent more time trying to sell me products and didnt even ask me what was wrong he spent about 10 minutes looking at my teeth and then the appointment was over, I dint even get to ask questions. He was rushing through everything. The cleanings are terrible, compared to every other dentist here in napa. If you want someone professional dont go here you will regret it.
Had my daughter go there 7/28 totally understand that there was only one dentist there but waiting for 4 hours and dentist and his assistant pops out of the no were just to look at the xrays not even greeting her and saying his name!! He just takes a quick look at her teeth and tells her assistant to go over with her let her know what needs to be done and the prices he doesnt even have a conversation with my daughter!! Just walks away!
I felt completely neglected and rushed out of the office. The dentist Dr. Gordon came in to measure my gums (I should have recorded it) - basically, he was talking and measuring SO FAST he sounded like an auctioneer. Last time I checked my teeth aren’t up for bid! One of the assistants was pacing so fast around all the patients making me increasingly nervous. When it came to ‘helping’ me find a path to better teeth, they didn’t even give me a moment to talk or explain my issues - they even dismissed my ongoing tooth pain & said ‘we’ll, it looks fine on the x-ray so must just be sensitivity”. They gave no solution for anything other than trying to push their pharmaceutical gum health product - Perio*Daily Defense - not covered by insurance.This whole place is a joke! I’ve never had such bad ‘professional dental care’ in my life.
Without a doubt the worst dental experience i’ve ever had. All of western dentals quirky family friendly slogans and catch phrases are a lie. Western dental staff have no intention to make you feel cared for or heard. If you go to western dental you should except a complete disregard of your concerns from doctor and staff alike. Dr.Gordon is careless and has no interest in performing his job with care rather more akin to a minimum wage employee trying to complete tasks as a quickly as possible. It wouldn’t be western dental without extravagant wait times, disconcerted staff, and a sense of feeling violated as you leave the building. if you have the opportunity to find a better office please do or else expect they same kind of care as everyone else who wrote a review. whoever Brenda is, she must be their one saving grace.
Dr Gordan took 1 min to look in my mouth, then said he saw nothing, which I have issues & complaints that he disregarded, and instead wanted me to get some expensive treatment plan that my insurance doesnt cover. Dont bother coming here. It was a waste of 2 hours. And I cant even get my teeth cleaned. Which is what I came for! 😡Also, they have a waiver you sign to waive your constitutional rights in case something goes wrong you cant take them to court (later I find out its optional).With a dentist, who looks like a wannabe Ken doll, has tools in your mouth and is looking at his assistant with big fake eyelashes while moving the sharp tools, I get why they have that waiver now. He caught the sharp tool on my pallet and I said OUCH and he didnt say anything. Just completely ignored me/his patient.
My first visit here was amazing! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Especially Miguel he took my x-rays. He is very good and professional! He really took his time and was very gentle.I really recommend him and I will definitely be coming back here to this location.

This office may be the most immoral dentists I have ever been to. They tried to sell me $2400 in dental work, billed AX then said they could not treat me because I have COPD. Then they refused a refund until AX credited me in a dispute request.They refuse local calls and send calls to “corporate”, a Honduras call center! Really?Please do not reward this incompetent, immoral group with your business. This location should be shut down!

I went to this office one time for a broken molar crown. I decided, after the I-PAD infomercial teeth soaking tray video they made me watch and the supposed dentist telling me the $700 soaking tray was strongly recommended and he certainly wasnt listening to my refusal because it was on the financial arrangement sheet, that no one in that building was touching my teeth. I would strongly advise people to avoid this location so it can become something useful like a drive thru puppy wash.
Thee Establishment in Vallejo treated me courtesy, patience and with much respect even under these difficult times, but most of all, I was impressed with the gently and at the same time, humorous staff at that facility and the work that theyve done on me thus far in my opinion was spectacular and I was very very satisfied or must I say overly satisfied with the outcome for my dental work. I gave five stars to Napa because I already know Vallejo is that good Napa has to be just as good so my next appointment will be there soon and believe it or not its the first time Im thrilled to go to the dentist I know that it sounds kind of morbid but great western is that good. The End!!!

I went to the office for crowns. They said it would be done in 3 weeks and it took a month in a half i went to an appointment to get the crown on and they said they could not proceed because it was to late for the treatment and they had to rescuedule. After i got my crown i had a follow up appointment to see how it was going. Turns out it wasnt for a follow up and the doctor said my crowns were not on correctly and that they had to re do them. This was an appointment at 2.30 and i was called in until 3.30. After waiting they said i couldnt get the job done because it was also to late that i had to reschedule. If there is certain hours for treatment why waist people time in having them come in the office. I have lost work hours because of your guys lack of scheduling or training personnel

My experience here was great. I went to get Braces exam Miguel and the orthodontist help me with everything he explained everything really good Miguel show to me all the payment options. I have braces now I see some bad reviews but for me was a great experience totally recommend this office to my friends and family.
My mom had an appointment a few days ago for her dentures what a great experience she did have a short wait time but once she was seen Dr. Gordon & his assistant Delishia did an amazing job! Delishia is funny very nice & has a beautiful bright smile she made my mother feel completely comfortable with getting dentures and for that I thank her! Had a filing done today. The whole procedure, start to finish, was 45 minutes. The Dentist was kind, gentle, thorough and communicative. The first appointment usually takes the longest, with waiting, and doing all the xrays, etc, but after my initial visit, they have been quite timely.

Dr. Justin knows what hes doing and hes got a great staff. My expectations were exceeded. So worth the investment. There are cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay for that is for sure!

My wife was seen there and they told she had an oral infection. They prescribed her medication that we couldn’t afford until my paycheck arrived. My paycheck arrived and they refused to give us the medication and are demanding we pay for a cleaning before they give the medication. My wife had an emergent infection that we had to go to the ER to get rectified. We spoke with a lawyer and are planning to sue for Dental Malpractice. I highly recommend to everyone to avoid this place.

Dental assistant Brenda was very friendly and professional,wasn’t uncomfortable or anything.Her service was fast and efficient.I learned something new on my panoramic picture that my wisdom teeth are coming in crooked,so that’s giving me a heads up on when i go to my orthodontist appointment to ask if this will be a future problem on making my present teeth crooked after having braces for 4 years. I would not want them crooked again.
Note: The receptionist Ana and crystal are the only nice ones.This establishment and the caretakers DO NOT care about you. They are highly incompetent and the day I am able to afford a different insurance plan, I will never step foot here again. I would never recommend anyone to go here if they absolutely had the choice. When it comes to telling you about a bunch of problems you have, theyre willing to make appointment for you to come back. But when it comes to resolving those issues it seems to take forever or they just dont care. It takes them weeks to get back to you, even if they promise to call you back and you leave several messages. They are extremely disorganized and unaware of what theyre doing. My sister had an issue with her root canal and our insurance denied the procedure because Western Dental didnt send the required items for processing. Then we came in for another x-ray only to be told it wasnt even for her root canal. I called my insurance and they told me none of the information Western Dental claimed to have sent was received. I truly am so disappointed and can say genuinely that this is the most disgraceful establishment of dentistry Ive ever encountered.

Went here for a routine teeth cleaning. This place showed absolutely no standard of cleanliness. Never saw anyone washing their hands or sanitizing equipment or taking precautions as to what they had touched prior to sticking their hands in my mouth. There were literally construction nails on the floor beneath the chair they had me sit in. They tried diagnosing 4 cavities and presenting me with an estimate. Fortunately I was suspicious, went back to my family dentist in Pennsylvania, he said he sees absolutely nothing. Will never return nor recommend this place.
There has been a total reshape in this clinic, all the Staff is very attentive and professional.Doctors are doing a fantastic job, sensitive to my needs and desires. I’ll give a big congratulations to the Manager Evie Quintana.
This place is getting better on waiting time and customer service. the one thing I didnt like was the way DR talk to employees he looks like filipino. that is not the way to talk to them in front of patients I was there last week for my cleaning when I heard this doctor talking really bad to one of the girls in one of the rooms. I also hear doctors making fun of patients. Not professional at all .no coming back here i hope main office does something about it.

Today I had dental anxiety really bad. I never liked going to the dentist office due a very bad experience when was little girl. Tia day I must say that Brenda and Dr. Samir worked as a team to help me feel comfortable during my visit here in Napa. They made me feel marvelous and I did not have any anxiety. I will comeback with a different attitude about the dental office. Thank you Brenda and D. Samir

Absolutely horrendous. The service, staff and quality of care was atrocious from start to finish.I went for a basic teeth cleaning, and the tech forgot to clean half of my mouth. This was after waiting one hour for my scheduled appointment and then an extremely slow cleaning.By far the worst experience Ive ever had.
